Veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of “embellishing” his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit’s 2005 deployment to Iraq.
In a letter posted to Facebook in 2018 as he first ran for governor, retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr said Walz retired from his 24-year tenure in the National Guard after learning that his battalion would be deployed to Iraq, despite allegedly assuring his fellow troops he would join them.

There’s a reason nobody expected far-left Kamala Harris to pick a far-left governor from a deep blue state as her running mate. It’s never worked.
In the wake of Jimmy Carter’s crushing defeat in 1980 and repeated Democratic losses thereafter, the party decided that to win presidential elections they had to at least appear as moderates.
Bill Clinton won by labeling himself a “new Democrat” and picked Al Gore, then a fellow moderate Southerner. Gore in turn tapped Joe Lieberman as his running mate. Barack Obama tried to position himself to the right of John McCain and ran with Scranton Joe Biden,

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), alongside California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and others, mocked former President Trump on Tuesday for implying that President Biden may take back the Democratic nomination.
“What are the chances that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the history of the U.S., whose Presidency was Unconstitutionally STOLEN from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, and others on the Lunatic Left, CRASHES the Democrat National Convention and tries to take back the Nomination, beginning with challenging me to another DEBATE. He feels that he made a historically tragic mistake by handing over the U.S. Presidency, a COUP,

President Biden held a frantic closed-door powwow with his top national-security advisers Monday as the Mideast war threatened to explode — and the US warned afterward it is set “to defend our forces.’’
During the meeting, Biden, 81, and Vice President Kamala Harris were informed that the timing of an expected attack on Israel by Iran and Hezbollah remains unclear, as is what the strike could look like, US officials told Axios.
The guidance provided to Biden and Harris, 59, is seemingly at odds with what Secretary of State Antony Blinken told his counterparts from the G7 countries on Sunday,

Israeli forces killed a commander of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit in a drone strike over southern Lebanon on Monday, officials say.
Video of the attack shows the moment the Israel Defense Force drone focuses on the car carrying Ali Jamal al-Din Jawad on a dirt road in the village of Aabba, with a missile fired within seconds to blow up the vehicle.
The car erupts into fire and smoke, leaving only debris in its wake as the blast manages to avoid the vehicles driving in front of Jawad’s.

The Ain al-Asad air base in Iraq, which houses U.S. troops, was reportedly attacked with rockets on Monday, according to sources.
The news was broken by Reuters, which was told about the situation by multiple security sources. At least two Katyusha rockets were fired towards the base.
The sources did not confirm if the attack caused any deaths or injuries, though one security source said that the rockets fell inside the base. The incident comes as tensions in the Middle East escalate amid the Israel-Hamas war. Last week, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran, causing the Iranian government to vow retribution against Israel.

Nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terror watch list have been released into the United States during the Biden administration, while Border Patrol agents have encountered migrants on the watch list from dozens of different countries, a new House report is revealing.
"Under the Biden-Harris Administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist who were encountered by Border Patrol at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, DHS has released into American communities at least 99, with at least 34 others in DHS custody but not yet removed from the United States," the report by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee,

If you've been on social media this past week, there's a good chance you've come across a video that has gone viral showing Kamala Harris answering a question about how she will fix inflation. Trust me when I tell you that it is hilarious.
"What else are you going to do to fix this problem with inflation?" a reporter asks her in the clip.
"Well, let’s start with this," Kamala began. "Uhh.. prices have gone up. And families and individuals are dealing with the realities of — that bread costs more, that gas costs more. And we have to understand what that means. That’s about the cost of living going up,

US supreme court justice Neil Gorsuch has said ordinary Americans are “getting whacked” by too many laws and regulations in a new book that underscores his skepticism of federal agencies and the power they wield.
“Too little law and we’re not safe, and our liberties aren’t protected,” Gorsuch told the Associated Press in an interview in his supreme court office. “But too much law and you actually impair those same things.”
Over Ruled: The Human Toll of Too Much Law is being published Tuesday by Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Gorsuch has received a $500,000 advance for the book, according to his annual financial disclosure reports.

US President Joe Biden is set to meet his national security team on Monday to discuss “developments in the Middle East”, the White House has said, as the US deploys extra fighter jets and warships to the region amid growing fears of an Iranian attack on Israel.
Regional tensions have increased after the assassination last week of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran a day after an Israeli strike in Beirut killed Fuad Shukur, a senior military commander from the Lebanese group Hezbollah. Both groups are backed by Iran, which has sworn revenge.
Biden will also speak to Jordan’s King Abdullah II, the White House said,

Shortly after Friday’s anemic jobs report came out, the stock market tumbled, recession fears rose, and the Biden-Harris administration issued another Pollyannish report about how great the economy is doing – this time with bigger and bolder lies.
Not only did just 114,000 jobs get created in July, which was well below economists’ expectations, but the jobless rate went up for the fourth consecutive month to 4.3% as 352,000 joined the unemployment lines. That’s not exactly “Morning in America.”
It gets worse.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics also admitted that it had overestimated the job gains in both May and June by a total of 29,000.
