It's Likely Going to Be a Rough Day on
Wall Street Today

Original Article

Wall Street is likely to be a bloodbath today. The first warning signs were on Friday, culminating on Sunday night when all hell broke loose in Asia. The Nikkei had its worst day since 1987, sinking nearly 4,000 points. It suspended trading after sinking nearly eight percent. South Korea’s stock exchange halted all sell orders as a looming wave of brutality is expected to hit Wall Street this morning. We’ll update this post accordingly, but a drubbing on the New York Stock Exchange shouldn’t surprise anyone. Also, don’t look at your 401ks (via CNBC):

This is what happens when Democrats destroy the economy and project weakness. The thought of Kamala Harris as President scares the entire world.

→ A VEEP of her own: Fresh from poisoning Joe Biden’s cornflakes, Kamala Harris announced that Minnesota governor Tim Walz will be her vice presidential running mate, leading the population of the 49 states that aren’t Minnesota to shout out a collective: Tim who? Personally, I find it kind of bizarre: she could have gone with a literal astronaut, but apparently Harris preferred the guy who’s never even seen the earth from outer space and whose biggest claim to fame is making “weird” happen.

The Left has let the mask slip and made clear that it intends to pack or otherwise decimate the Supreme Court. President Joe Biden announced last week in a Washington Post op-ed that he would promote a “reform” of the nation’s highest court that would include term limits and new “ethics” rules for justices. The plan was signed off on by Vice President Kamala Harris, who at this point appears to be the de facto president with Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.

Vice President Kamala Harris has hardly taken a question since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee nearly three weeks ago. But that hasn’t stopped her from riding a wave of media hype into a statistical tie with Donald Trump, all without having to explain her newfound positions or Biden administration record. The Trump campaign has a plan to put pressure on Harris and bring her into the spotlight, and it starts with Senator J.D. Vance, insiders told the Caller.

Former President Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio), torched Kamala Harris’ V.P. pick, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, over his military record Wednesday, telling his law enforcement audience that Walz’s decision to dodge deployment to Iraq after preparing his unit to go there was “shameful.” Vance was speaking in front of the Macomb County police department during a campaign stop in Michigan. Harris and Walz will be in Michigan later Wednesday, visiting Detroit in the evening after visiting Wisconsin earlier in the day.

Kamala Harris hired Eric Holder to do the background vetting on Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, prior to the announcement of Walz being her VP candidate. Keep in mind, Barack Obama and Eric Holder do not have any issues with Tim Walz as the VP candidate. Factually, Walz is a very unstable person, prone to an intemperate disposition, has no problem targeting children for his fetish ideology under the guise of gender reassignment (cutting off the genitals of children), and is a proud Marxist. Against the backdrop of ‘who he is’ the difference between ‘who he presents himself to be‘ is the real issue.

There’s a good reason I wrote about the media’s prostitutes a few years ago, actually, seven years ago, with a preface that apologized to legitimate prostitutes who made an honest living. What I reported then was based on the formidable work of ace journalist Ashley Lutz, who scrupulously documented her findings in a Business Insider report. Lutz reported that in 1983, there were 50 media companies, but early in this century, as well as today, only six organizations are responsible for 90 percent or more of all the “news” we read, watch, and listen to! They include:

[T]he Biden-Harris administration has not only been vacillating on military support for Israel, but also endeavouring to micromanage Israel's war operation. A tragic outcome of these haphazard policies is that they are resulting in more deaths, prolonging the war and delaying Hamas's release of the hostages. The vacillation and political gamesmanship by the Biden-Harris team have only encouraged Iran to develop its nuclear weapons for what the mullahs apparently plan to be the destruction of Israel and ultimately the US.

During a rally in Glendale, Arizona, Harris said she would back amnesty for the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens through so-called “comprehensive reform.” “We know our immigration system is broken and we know what it takes to fix it: comprehensive reform. That includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship,” Harris said.

Gov. Walz has suggested on multiple occasions that he carried weapons into war — including in a video shared by the Harris campaign — despite having never served in a combat. “We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” Walz said in a 2018 video advocating gun control. That clip was shared Tuesday by the Harris campaign.

A former Illinois public school food service director has been sentenced to nine years in prison for pulling off a $1.5 million chicken wing heist, prosecutors said. Vera Liddell worked for Harvey School District 152, an “impoverished” Chicago-area district, for over a decade until she was accused of stealing the food she was tasked with providing to children in January 2023, WGN reported. Court records obtained by the outlet accused the 66-year-old of placing orders for more than 11,000 cases of chicken wings from the school district’s food provider, picking them up in a district van, and not delivering them to children who were remote-learning at the time.

The vice president who has been a national joke for four years, tapped by President Joe Biden because he’d promised his base he would choose a woman of color, has suddenly become a serious contender in the presidential race. And now she’s picked a radical Minnesota governor with a disastrous record to round out her ticket.

This is especially ironic because Kamala Harris’s campaign has been extremely short on policy proposals. Now she finally puts one forth and it’s a Trump proposal. Watch: (X Video)

Haney, a public affairs officer, also corrected Keilar, noting the dangers of being a combat correspondent, citing 130 individuals who did not make it home.[snip for tweets] Also, Keilar didn’t apologize or backtrack but instead engaged—to cite liberals—'bothsideism,’ going on a prolonged monologue about the perniciousness of the attacks on military records.

The $3.8 trillion that Democrats in Congress authorized for pandemic relief ($2 trillion was passed during the Trump administration) contained $800 billion for state and local governments. Admittedly, the states had some flexibility in how they spent their cut. Some states used the money to shore up their employee pension programs. While not specifically authorized in the enabling legislation, given the broad authority granted to states to spend the money, no one is likely to challenge it. How about a governor spending $4.3 million to cover parking costs for state employees "and visitors"? Or $1 million on a feasibility study for paid family leave?
