A Thursday recount by Virginia officials determined that House Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good narrowly lost his reelection bid to former state Sen. John McGuire during the commonwealth’s recent primary elections. The final results from the Good-requested recount confirmed McGuire won the battle to become the GOP nominee for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District by 370 votes. That’s four votes fewer than the 374 vote-lead McGuire had following the state’s initial tally of the June 18 race. The former state senator will now face Democrat Gloria Witt this November.

Recounts are a fraudulent legitimization of an election. They recount the same ballots they did the first time. There is no verification that those ballots were legal. Recounts are slop for those ignorant of election integrity.

Exactly, #2. Recounts are fairly pointless. An audit is what is needed.

#2 forensic audits are what are required not just doing the same thing(recounting the same ballots) and expecting a different result is a definition of insanity.

Payback is a you know what. McCarthy gets his revenge on one who voted, with the Democrats, to oust him as speaker. I don't know what Trump gets out of this but his endorsement of Good's Republican opponent shows his ongoing clout.

Anyone from VA know if the winner is more conservative than Good? Really have not heard a reasoned argument what is going on here. Seems like a grudge match. Is the winner really a McCarthy weasel too? Or just Rino vs Rino?

Gee whiz, how soon they forget, and how the headlines change quicker than a pole dancer’s favors from a sucker tossing twenty-dollar bills to the one with the C-notes. I am referring to last week’s captions about Biden’s mumbling and rambling, the creepy whispering, the misnomers and forgetfulness, the whole hullabaloo that had nothing to do with Biden being unable to perform his duties, but whether he was able to beat the enemy of mankind, Donald J. Trump. It all changed quicker than you can say John Wilkes Booth, Oswald, or Crooks, for that matter. Until last Saturday it was a modern Hitler who threatened our way of life,

A Chinese citizen was arrested this week after police said he repeatedly tried to get into former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach while he claimed that he had documents that tie his home country's government to the July 13 assassination attempt on the Republican nominee for president. Zijie Li, 38, of El Monte, California, faces a misdemeanor trespassing charge in the incident, which occurred Wednesday, and remained at the Palm Beach County Jail on Thursday morning on a $3,000 bond, according to court records. According to jail records, this is the first security-related arrest at Mar-a-Lago since July 13, when a gunman shot at Trump as he spoke

Another day, another bundle of noncitizen voter registrations discovered on state voting rolls. But there’s still nothing to see here — so say the left and their election integrity-denying accomplices in corporate media. On Thursday, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced he was directing local elections officials to remove nearly 500 foreign national registrations from Ohio’s voter rolls. The suspected illegal registrations were detected as part of a statewide audit of Ohio’s voter registration database.

The U.S. economy created fewer jobs than expected while the unemployment rate increased, signaling that the labor market could be going through a rapid deceleration at a time when the Federal Reserve could soon be cutting interest rates. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), there were 114,000 new jobs in July, down from 179,000 in June. This fell short of the consensus estimate of 175,000. The unemployment rate rose to 4.3 percent, up from 4.1 percent, and higher than economists’ expectations of 4.1 percent. This represents the highest jobless rate since October 2021.

Illegal aliens do not need to vote (per se’), they only need to exist in a captured state database as physical persons. Their personage is then shifted to voter rolls, that then generate ballots. Any state or federal system that links a physical identity to the secretary of state voter rolls is good. Any system, like the USPS postal change of address system, that would remove physical identities from the state voter rolls is not useful. The goal is to maximize the number of systems that generate registration, that eventually generates ballots. Beyond the Driver’s License/State ID issue (motor-voter), it’s everything. The t*t-for-tat will take place in the open, yet few will pay attention. We do. You have to take this announcement in full context: (1) Sanctions against Russia failed. (2) NATO expanded, creating more provocation. (3) NATO pledged Ukraine NATO membership. (4) Biden then pledged new long-range missiles will be located in Germany in 2026 able to reach all of Russia. (5) Russia sailed a nuclear submarine into Cuba; and (6) Yesterday, Vladimir Putin pledged to put nuclear weapons close to the USA (likely Cuba) if Biden puts long-range missiles in Germany. OK, that’s the escalation timeline. That’s the lead up to this next announcement.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr did not improperly pressure prosecutors to reduce sentencing recommendations for political activist Roger Stone, according to a new government watchdog report. The exoneration of Barr came more than four years after a deluge of media reports alleging wrongdoing. However, J.P. Cooney, a Justice Department official now serving as Special Counsel Jack Smith’s top deputy, cultivated a politically toxic environment, disseminated baseless conspiracy theories about Trump and his political appointees, and engaged in unprofessional conduct as he oversaw the team making sentencing recommendations, according to the same report.

Olympic boxing sunk to a new low last week. An Algerian boxer with XY chromosomes – the ordinary definition of “male” – and commensurate male testosterone levels – beat up a woman in front of thousands of cheering spectators. The woman who was beat up had to quit 46 seconds into the match, apparently with a broken nose. In tears, she said in her native Italian “not fair, not fair” and explained afterward that she’d “never been hit so hard in my life.” The XY boxer was declared the winner. Yesterday, the XY boxer won again in a decision where all three judges favored the XY boxer in all three rounds
