The Left Fear-Mongers Over Vance’s Tolkien Influence

Original Article

Posted By: Judy W., 7/24/2024 6:58:29 AM

Immediately in the wake of the announcement at the Republican National Convention that JD Vance is Donald Trump’s pick for running mate, the leftist media predictably launched a fear-mongering campaign to demonize the young populist. The politics of personal destruction – it’s their go-to strategy, rather than addressing the issues. And one of the first scary red flags they warned about is the influence on the future Vice President of Lord of the Rings author JRR Tolkien. On Tuesday, MSNBC mainstay propagandist Rachel Maddow suggested that Vance and “his mentor,” venture capitalist Peter Thiel, were both inspired by “alt-right” and “Aryan” messaging in Tolkien’s vastly popular fantasy epic.

Comments:

Maddow claims that J.D. Vance named his company Narya because it can be rearranged to spell Aryan. It's actually a ring of power in the Lord of the Rings. It's hard to believe that an educated woman of her age has not read the Tolkien books.

White toxic male, the worst kind of candidate. The future president and VP are both guilty. Kamala is already using Trump's fabricated convictions in her campaign babbling.

If Vance is a White Supremacist because he like The Lord of the Rings series, I can only assume that everyone who likes the Harry Potter series is homophobic and anti transgender. Anyone who enjoys a Stephen King novel must be a flaming crazy liberal. The media's attaching and making up political and hate group affiliations based on some activists thoughts on the authors is ridiculous.

Guess the left will cancel Tolkien now. Sick of these people. Why do they hate Tolkien? That easy. Tolkien made it clear there is no place in the world for tyrants and they have to be destroyed otherwise they will destroy everything one holds dear. Apparently, Maddow has a problem with that. Tolkien recognized the threat of Nazi Germany and Hitler and knew they had to be stopped. Just like any flaming leftist, Maddow twists the message into the opposite. Trump picked the right person for VP. Maddow and the rest of the left can GTH.

Apologize for the second post, but I do remember when Tolkien was practically required reading if you wanted to be part of the discussion at social gatherings, or even at your job. I believe it was late 70's or early 80's. I was given a beautiful set of these books for Christmas. I happily read them but skipped the movie. I do, however, have a sweet memory of a pink teddy bear hamster I lovingly named "Hobbit".

I received LOTR and the Hobbit as birthday gifts when I was 16.I absolutely loved that story. I'm 75 now and those books have seen better days but I still pull them from my bookshelf to read. I remember taking them to school; I lost track of the number of teachers who noticed those books on my desk and who asked to read them when I was finished. What a wonderful series they were. Maddow is certifiably insane so I pay little attention to anything she spews.

Some of the greatest books ever written and, naturally, they will be attacked by a leftist, lightweight loon like Maddow simply because Vance read them. I now admire J.D. even more. It's amazing the stretch these people will go to in order to disparage someone on the other side of the political spectrum. Pure hate. It's no wonder that it's mostly the left that resorts to genuine violence.

Fresh on the heels of Politico’s fear-mongering article warning about the ominous Christian influence of Lord of the Rings genius JRR Tolkien on Trump VP pick JD Vance, the outlet now devotes space to a profile of Vance’s “weird views on gender.” And by “weird,” Politico means “normal” – the traditional, biologically based understanding of sex and family that has held for all but the last ten minutes or so of human history.
