Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) savagely destroyed the disgraced Secret Service DEI Director Kim Cheatle during the House Oversight Committee hearing on Monday morning.
Director Cheatle testified alone and under subpoena, facing questions about the agency’s failures during the deadly incident that left one man dead and three injured, including former President Trump.
The South Carolina representative did not mince words, accusing the director of colossal failure and triggering an admission that the recent assassination attempt on former President Trump was preventable.

Way past time that someone held her feet to the fire for a TOTAL lapse in protecting President Trump....!

When questions aren't answered in an honest, transparent way, that tends to make people believe the worst. Too many suspicious things happened on July 13 and I'm certain it'll take a very long time before the actual truth of that day comes to light. IMO this was a government planned assassination attempt which was foiled because God has an entirely different plan for PDJT and Who will continue to protect him from everything the enemy throws at him. Even if Kim wanted to be forthcoming with her answers ~ and that's a huge "if" ~ it's very possible that she was threatened or blackmailed to remain silent. However......when these people are finally brought to justice, Cheating Kim has a huge bargaining chip that she can trade for a lighter prison sentence since she had to be involved in the plot at some level.

Mace does NO ONE any favors, especially herself by using swear words. I use those words sometimes, yes. But I never would in a public proceeding in the Congress.
NOT a plus, Mace, a minus for you.

The questioning from the dems was welcome, but they're concerned only with the protection that will be afforded their black female candidate. It only seemed like they wanted to get to the bottom of what happened to Trump. As for the director, she had a full week to get briefed by any number of her staff in preparation for the hearing. Besides showing up in Milwaukee, what did she do all week? If nothing, she needs to be fired. If she was briefed and was evading questions to which she knew the honest answers, she needs to be fired. Extra credit to Byron Donalds (he's good, in so many ways) for waiting to hear from her in person but then also drawing the correct conclusion - she needs to be fired.

Now if it was a democrat that was in the line of fire it would be a different thing all together.

I don't know how much more obvious it can be: Deep State Soros wanted to send a message to Trump. Cheatle was told to follow orders. She followed orders. She instructed personnel to follow orders. Shooter on rooftop followed orders. Either he was a really bad shot or a really good shot. Cheatle was probably issued a threat or ultimatum. Attempt will happen again but with a pro.

"Merc'd her"...full on HAM.
Cheadle was not "set up for success"...when she was "asked"(before the subpoenas) to come before congress, initially she said "Of Course".
Mayorkas though stepped in and said HE and DHS would be the only line of information to congress and then refused communications from the committee.
Then Mayokas and the Justice dept, FIB..."Opened investigations" so that they can claim "We do not comment on ongoing investigations, because it may adversely affect future prosecutions, divulge means and methods, impact future security and enforcement operations"

Agree with #5. With Mace, it is always about her and how many TV shows she can get on. The choice for vice president is over, Mace, and you aren't the choice. As for the others, Cheatle is another one who can't, won't answer anything and we're stuck with her.

I couldn’t watch the Cheadle charade this morning. I tried, but my blood pressure wouldn’t have held up to all of the obfuscation and evasive “decorum”.
Mace had good questions for Cheadle, but she certainly didn’t add anything good by cursing. However, a Democrat screaming decorum is also abhorrent after all they stand for and do!
There is nothing close to appropriate or meeting the requirements of polite behavior in assassination attempts, withholding security for a former POTUS, and lying through your teeth about it either!

I am going to take a different tack and say that I am glad Nancy Mace, all done up in Barbie pink, laid some real language on the SS Director. I normally do not condone use of expletives, but sometimes they are called for. There are so many bureaucrats that are formed with the same substance as the SSDirector and they need to be called out.

I agree with #13. Nancy went to a military college, The Citadel, when General Mace (her dad) was in charge. What she was getting from the incompetent DEI hire was propaganda and falsehoods, none of which was designed to clarify how a twenty year old punk was allowed to take a clear shot at President Trump from an unprotected roof top. Mace simply called her out by referring to the baloney she was being fed as "S" and "BS." It doesn't bother me at all that, in that context, she called it exactly what it was.

Be kind of ironic if she refuses to step down and someone takes a shot at Kamala.

Am a huge fan of Nancy. But was unhappy when she used billingsgate to attack Cheatle. When things don't go my way I often curse like a drunken sailor but the object of my ire is normally a computer and not a human being who has feelings. Cheatle was a DEI appointee who was totally incompetent. But she sat there and didn't respond in kind. She reminded me of Sargent Schultz: I know Nothing. I still love you Nancy but nice girls don't talk like that.
