One of the most poignant moments of the third night of the Republican National Convention was when the families of those killed in the Abbey Gate terrorist attack during Joe Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal took the stage. These Gold Star families shared their grief and their experience in trying to get answers from the Biden administration - or even a simple acknowledgement of their loss.
In a despicable move, MSNBC refused to air that segment, instead cutting away for some hand-wringing over the fate of Biden's presidency and who might replace him on the ticket.

As the Republican National Convention kicks off its third night, it’s carrying another indirect theme: party unity. Now, usually, it’s not a big deal, as both Democrats and Republicans have it together heading into their respective conventions, but liberals are imploding tonight. The chaos narrative has often been assigned to Trump and the Republicans, at times, erroneously so, but not tonight—not this year. Total mayhem has engulfed the Democratic Party as the push to get Biden to step aside has hit renewed intensity. And CNN’s Van Jones delivered a brutal observation on the state of his party tonight: “A bullet couldn't stop Trump. A virus just stopped Biden…

Would-be Donald Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks wrote a chilling online message that hinted to sinister plans for the day he shot up the former president’s Butler, Pa. rally over the weekend.
“July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds,” the 20-year-old gunman allegedly wrote on Steam, a popular online platform where gamers communicate with one another, Fox News reported.
The foreshadowing message was revealed to US senators during a briefing with top law enforcement officials on Wednesday. (Photo)
Crooks, 20, also had images of the Republican presidential nominee as well as President Biden on his cellphone, and searched the dates of the Democratic National Convention and Trump’s Pennsylvania rally

Donald Trump's 17-year-old granddaughter Kai took the stage at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday to run through her first major appearance in politics.
The daughter of Don Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa will address thousands of GOP delegates and fans on the third night of the event at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
'I am honored to be speaking at the RNC at 9 pm (CDT),' she posted on social media hours before her big speech. It comes just days after her grandfather former president was shot by a would-be assassin on stage during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

This was a surreal and amazing incident that unfolded tonight at the Republican National Convention.
Kimberly Cheatle, the director of the Secret Service, was confronted by Republican senators John Barrasso of Wyoming and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, who were demanding answers about the failure of the Secret Service to protect Donald Trump.
Kim Cheatle tried to run away but the senators chased after her, demanding answers.
This is just stunning. Watch below:

Donald Trump's 17-year-old granddaughter stole the show at the Republican National Convention, bringing the house down as she hinted at a future in politics.
Kai Trump told the huge crowd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that she wanted to 'share a side of my grandpa that people don't often see,' including how he gives candy and soda to his grandchildren.
Donald Trump Jr. gave up some of his microphone time to allow his daughter to take over, explaining she had asked to speak in the wake of the assassination attempt on her grandfather.

A WWII veteran who was there on D-Day named William Pekrul spoke at the Republican National Convention tonight and got a lot of love from the crowd.
Pekrul received numerous rounds of applause during his speech as he described being there to witness the horror of the Nazi death camps and how he kissed the ground when he came home to America.
At one point, he suggested that if Donald Trump was commander in chief again, that he would reenlist. The crowd went absolutely wild.

Joe Biden had his Nevada trip cut short by a COVID diagnosis that came when the president announced he would exit the race if a medical emergency forced him out. Biden is now on his way back to Delaware, where he’ll be kept from the spotlight as large swaths of the Democratic Party are putting the screws on him to exit the race. What a remarkable coincidence on both fronts. The rushed virtual roll call before the Democratic National Convention that would have made Biden’s nomination official has been delayed.

The Secret Service was warned about Thomas Matthew Crooks and designated him as a “threat” 10 minutes before former President Donald Trump took the stage, but allowed him to go on anyway, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The agency was also warned that there was a “character of suspicion” on the grounds more than an hour before Saturday’s deadly shooting at Trump’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, sources said.
Fox News first reported the new details, which emerged during a stunning Senate briefing by the Secret Service on Wednesday.

Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan led directly to the deaths of 13 American service members, yet he has never acknowledged tham by name.
Tonight at the Republican National Convention, the parents of one soldier decided to do just that. They said the names of each service member who was killed and called out the Biden administration for forgetting these men and women.
This was an amazing moment.
Greg Price wrote on Twitter/X: Incredibly powerful moment as the families of the 13 American service members who died at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan take the stage at the RNC.
They do something that Joe Biden has never done since his incompetence

Joy Reid of MSNBC is either incredibly desperate or completely insane. Maybe both.
Today, Reid suggested that if Biden survives his current case of COVID, that it’s just like Trump surviving an assassination attempt where someone nearly blew his brains out with a gun.
Are the people who run MSNBC capable of feeling shame or embarrassment?
NewsBusters has details: Reid swerved into a conspiracy theory territory when she seemed to hint that the shooting was staged because of the so-called “photo-op” on stage. “

The third night of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will formally introduce the nation to former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance.
Vance is scheduled to speak last tonight, and the Rust Belt populist will be introduced by his wife, Usha Chilukuri Vance, who met the Ohio senator and Marine veteran when they both were students at Yale Law School. Chilukuri Vance, a trial lawyer and native of San Diego, California, was a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
