According to two sources familiar with the Secret Service's operations, the rooftop from which a gunman fired at former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., had been flagged as a potential security risk by the agency days before the incident, NBC News reported.
The sources indicate that the Secret Service was aware of the risks associated with the building adjacent to the Butler Farm Show, an outdoor venue.
“Someone should have been on the roof or securing the building so no one could get on the roof,” one of the sources, a former senior Secret Service agent, explained.

And did the shooter just show up hoping for a vulnerability to exploit? Imagine the luck!

OF COURSE they knew. THAT was the plan. Kill Trump. How many more times will they try before election day? Pretty soon it will be REALLY obvious to all people. Even oblivious idiot dems.

They knew and did nothing. The local police knew and did nothing. No one thought he should be protected, so where does that leave Trump now? Think this is the last attempt? Not on his life, it isn't. This was an inside job, compounded by a DEI hire at the Secret Service.

Well, once I learned that Cheatle was hand-picked by Dr. Jill and her advisor Bernal, I knew the fix was in and there would be no accountability. There's never any accountability in the Slow Joe Bite-Me administration...

Those buildings were specifically excluded from the SS security perimeter, according to one map shown in a news article. Perhaps the article is wrong, or maybe this was because this group of buildings were the assignment of the local cops.
It would be very easy for me to believe that a 20 man Butler Township police force totally screwed this up. Look at the genius "police chief" that Uvalde had. That puke was personally responsible for many deaths.
Sometimes small town cops are NOT up to standard, and get away with it because they have buddies in the power structure and "nothing ever happens around here".

Exactly #7. I am not give LE people and SS any cover for this massive ineffectual response. I heard more than one Texan say watching those clueless SS girls around the Beast as Trump being put in the car was like Uvalde, Texas LE response. What a huge embarrassment that was!

Since the Secret Service knew the building was a potential sniper position they have zero excuses for not securing it. Someone decided against putting people on that roof. My bet is the ditzy director of the SS who probably heard from Dr. Jill that she wanted more security at her event in Pittsburgh and resources were removed from Trump and transferred to Lady Macbeth. That broad should be fired - yesterday!

Fire SS and hire some retired old hand former SS folks to put together a COMPETENT team for your security, President Trump.
Don't trust these DEI and government folks.

FTA: "the rooftop... had been flagged as a potential security risk by the agency days before the incident, NBC News reported."
Oh really? Who else knew that? Was it public knowledge? How did Crooks know which rooftop was a vulnerability in advance? Or are we supposed to believe he was just incredibly lucky to pick the single vulnerable rooftop that provided a direct line of fire for him to kill Trump?

Two groups assigned to protect Trump, no communication between them and no one person in charge of the entire effort. One more massive screwup that is the Biden administration.
