Special Counsel Jack Smith on Wednesday appealed Judge Cannon’s decision to toss the classified documents case to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday dismissed Jack Smith’s classified documents case based on unlawful appointment and funding of the special counsel.
The charges waged against Trump and his co-defendants Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira were all tossed.
Jack Smith indicted Trump on 37 federal counts in Miami in June 2023 for lawfully storing presidential records at his Mar-a-Lago estate which was protected by Secret Service agents.

Just when I think the media can’t get any dumber, folks like MSNBC’s Joy Reid prove me dead wrong.
In Reid’s latest tap-dancing routine for President Joe Biden, she responded to the news that he has COVID-19 – again. During the segment, she lauded Biden’s latest COVID diagnosis as an opportunity to attack former President Donald Trump, who is riding high after Saturday’s attempt on his life.
And not spread COVID around, but also to remind people of what hell we went through with COVID because of Donald Trump. Here is a great messaging opportunity for President Biden to bring out the tape and remind people of how many people died.

The Trump confidant and Republican operative, who cut his political teeth in President Richard M. Nixon’s 1972 reelection campaign, told RedState President Donald J. Trump’s selection of Ohio’s Republican Sen. J.D. Vance to be his 2024 running mate set up the possibility of a 12-year ticket while attending the 2024 Republican National Convention here.
“It is going to take a lot of time to reform our country,” said Roger Stone, the host of “The Stone Zone” podcast.
“It's going to be hard to do it in four years.”
Stone said two factors tell him Vance is up for the three-term reign, his background and his age.

Former President Donald Trump made his first appearance at the Republican National Convention (RNC) flanked by Secret Service this week after surviving a would-be assassination.
His Secret Service team, however, looked drastically different from the agents that were guarding him during his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday when the shooting occurred.
As he entered the arena at the RNC, an all-male Secret Service team escorted the former president—different from the women who were tasked with protecting him during his rally.
At the time of the would-be assassination, Trump was surrounded by several female agents, who critics say were hired solely based on DEI initiatives.

The Republican National Convention has been a great event so far with everyone coming together in unity behind former President Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) for the Republican ticket. There have been fun and inspiring moments, including Trump's emotional entry into the hall just two days after Saturday's assassination attempt. (Snip) So when the Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle showed up at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, senators wanted answers. I'm not sure why Cheatle was there, but Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and other senators waylaid her and peppered her with questions, demanding to know why the Secret Service wasn't providing answers.

Just when you thought the Secret Service story couldn't get any worse, it takes another turn. It turns out that not only did the man who attempted to assassinate former President Trump visit the rally site in Butler, Pa., to plan his attack days in advance, but sixty-two minutes—nearly an hour—elapsed between the time he was identified as a suspicious person and he began firing. And he was allowed to remain on the roof of the building for 20 minutes after being spotted by snipers.
When seconds count, the Secret Service took an hour to respond. As a result, a brave family man is dead,

The recent attempt on former President Donald Trump's life was ghastly. Yet conservatives have long been horrified by the propensity of the Biden administration Gestapo — I mean, Dept. of Justice — to round up its enemies via pre-dawn raids and frog-march them into the federal clink.
The unprecedented, norms-shattering raid on a past president's private residence over a paperwork complaint that has since been tossed out of court was the most visible and galling of these abuses. But there have been Trump-ally and other conservative victims a-plenty, and we've told their stories here at PJ Media. One of them is Peter Navarro,

President Joe Biden is preparing to back changes to the Supreme Court that he hopes will energize the left-wing base of the Democratic Party as his reelection campaign continues to sink.
The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Biden will soon back term limits for Supreme Court justices and a new “ethics code” to be enforced against the judiciary.
He will stop short, however, of calling to expand the Court.
That could be a matter of politics more than one of principle.
Democrats once hoped to use their temporary majority in both houses of Congress in 2021 and 2022 to expand and “pack” the Court with enough liberal justices

I’ve spoken to so many people who were shocked at the assassination attempt on President Trump. But as pointed out by Sebastian Gorka, what is shocking is not that the assassination was attempted but that it took this long.
The public discourse has become progressively uglier over the years, especially over the last few months as Trump has risen in the polls. Dr. Gorka pointed out the many calls for violence against Trump and MAGA supporters coming from leftist politicians like Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi and, of course, President Biden’s call to put a bullseye on President Trump.

Joe Biden's interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt Monday night was kind of a disaster. His failure to accept responsibility for his dangerous and violent rhetoric about Donald Trump was enraging, but the interview also became the latest example of his disturbing lack of mental fitness for the presidency. He once again came off as tired and weak, but things got really disturbing when he referred to his female Secret Service director as a man.
"Do you have — are you — are you — you have confidence in the Secret Service?” Holt asked. "Do you feel safe?"
"I feel safe with the Secret Service,” Biden said.

According to two sources familiar with the Secret Service's operations, the rooftop from which a gunman fired at former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., had been flagged as a potential security risk by the agency days before the incident, NBC News reported.
The sources indicate that the Secret Service was aware of the risks associated with the building adjacent to the Butler Farm Show, an outdoor venue.
“Someone should have been on the roof or securing the building so no one could get on the roof,” one of the sources, a former senior Secret Service agent, explained.

In the wake of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, Brexit leader Nigel Farage announced that he is going make an emergency trip to the United States to show solidarity with his longtime friend and political ally.
The newly-elected Reform UK Member of Parliament said that he will fly to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention this week to “stand shoulder to shoulder with President Trump and the US to stand up for democracy.”
Writing in The Telegraph the morning following the attempt on Donald Trump’s life by a gunman, Mr Farage said: “I do so to support my friend, Donald Trump,
