The federal judge overseeing Donald Trump's classified documents case in the Southern District of Florida dismissed the case Monday on constitutional grounds.   "The Superseding Indictment is DISMISSED because Special Counsel Smith’s appointment violates the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution," Judge Aileen Cannon wrote in her order granting Trump's motion to dismiss.

Comments:

Your ruling and Trump‘s favor this underscore is the political nature of the lawfare! Incredible! Finally a judge that makes sense such a rare occurrence

Their crooked, fraudulent 'lawfare' attacks are falling apart....because they are FRAUDULENT. Now, Garland should be fired for this illegal act and Trump should sue Smith for a $1 billion for fraud, and 'operating under the pretense of official authority' or something like that. Trump's lawyers will know what REAL case to file against Smith. Smith just cannot walk away from this scot free.

And sue for a return of the salaries paid to those imposter “prosecutors” and all the fraudulent expenses paid to the support staff they fraudulently hired.

Realistically, there is only one authority that can 'fire' Gestapo Garland and his boss. We the People. Let us finish the job on Nov 5. The Almighty has already given the signal!

I saw this on Fox News and thought, just for laughs, I'll switch over to CNN. Good Lord, their hair is on fire, they can't talk fast enough to attack this judge. They had 6...SIX loony lib ''journalists'' sitting there all drooling to add their own nonsense. I loved it...then my brain started to hurt and I switched back.

When New York Attorney General Letitia James managed to secure a guilty verdict against then-candidate Donald Trump in February of 2024 for allegedly inflating the value of the Trump Organization to secure better terms for loans, she wanted to let everyone know that — despite the fact it was a flimsy case against one of her personal enemies brought in a jurisdiction that would hold the Republican frontrunner guilty for killing Jimmy Hoffa and Julius Caesar — she wasn’t targeting him.

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from revoking the legal status and work permits of the more than 530,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela who flew into the United States during former President Joe Biden's time in office. The migrants came to the U.S. under Biden's controversial controversial CHNV mass humanitarian parole program. In her order, Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, wrote that each migrant needs to have an individualized, case-by-case review.

Yes, after destroying your childhood memories through various reimaginings of everything you held dear, they're now coming after your dog. An Australian review of existing studies has argued that “the environmental impact of owned dogs is far greater, more insidious, and more concerning than is generally recognised”.

Washington— Former President Joe Biden returns to the national stage Tuesday to elevate liberal concerns that President Donald Trump’s agenda is threatening the health of Social Security. The 82-year-old Democrat has largely avoided speaking publicly since leaving the White House in January. That’s even as Trump frequently blames Biden for many of the nation’s problems, often attacking his predecessor by name. Biden is expected to fight back in an early evening speech to the national conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled in Chicago. While Biden has made a handful of public appearances in recent weeks, Tuesday’s high-profile address focuses on a critical issue for tens of millions of Americans

The fiancee of Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos was also part of the group. In the aftermath of the 11-minute trip, critics wondered what the purpose of the trip was. Some even flatly dismissed it as a publicity stunt. The next morning, King and fellow Blue Origin crewmate Aisha Bowe talked about scientific impact similar trips on

The Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing another high schooler at a track meet was released from jail Monday after posting a reduced $250,000 bond and will remain on house arrest until his trial. A judge in Collin County slashed the 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony’s initial $1 million bond and said he may await trial at home with an ankle monitor and 24-hour supervision from his parents or an “adult designee.” Anthony has been locked in Collin County Jail for allegedly stabbing Austin Metcalf, also 17, in the heart during a fight over a seat at a track meet on April 2. He is charged with first-degree murder.

So far, President Donald Trump has been piloting his second term like Maverick from “Top Gun.” With one exception. The tariff rollout has been FUBAR, which is troubling since it’s Trump’s signature economic policy issue. There have been glaring missteps along the way, repeated pauses, confused and conflicting messaging, turf wars. It’s draining public support and causing real economic problems as businesses can’t make plans while all this is in flux. We aren’t privy to insider gossip to speculate why this is. But we can say that Trump needs to get his tariff act together, and fast. Consider what has
