Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) shot up in a poll that asked about the 2028 Democratic presidential primary after his recent record-breaking Senate speech. Booker placed second in a hypothetical primary behind former Vice President Kamala Harris in an Echelon Insights poll released this week, drawing support from 11 percent of respondents. In the same poll last month, Booker drew 2 percent support among party respondents — putting him in line with roughly a dozen other Democratic figures with low single-digit support. Booker, who is serving in his second term, set a record for the longest Senate speech in history in early

Kams at 28% and Spartacus creeping up behind her. Can even one poll respondent tell us what Cory said in his long-winded speech?

A United States Senator can never be elected president when running against a governor. SENATOR Kennedy beat Nixon 65 years ago. Before that....I can't think of anyone going back to the 1800s. Vice-presidents don't fare much better. Vance will have a tough row to hoe if he tries to run. Abbor or DeSantis are better seasoned.

I'm going to venture a guess that the 'Rats that the Media is polling just give a name of a 'Rat politician that they have heard of. Nothing to do with policy or what they would do if in charge of the Executive Branch. Just a name that they heard recently on the Lamestream news. The Lamestreams all covered Booker's 'Speech to NoWhere', so Booker's name has been recently blared across the Lamestream media. More 'Rats have heard his name recently, so it gets regurgitated more, and as a result his 'numbers' are up.

David Hogg is exactly what we expect from a citizen touched by unthinkable tragedy. Having survived the 2018 massacre at Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, he immediately dove into constructive political action, first on serious gun reform, and then within Democratic party politics, rising to his present position as DNC vice-chairman. Which makes it difficult to point out that his latest project couldn't be more ill-advised and, worse, incredibly ill-timed. It is a perfect example of something that is in the right place. but at the wrong time. From Politico: Leaders We Deserve, which Hogg co-founded in 2023, announced

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is leading Chuck Schumer by double digits in a new head-to-head poll of the 2028 New York primary.
