The reports spread by certain media outlets, stating that I presented myself yesterday, Thursday, June 20, at the Palace of the Holy Office, as intimated to me by the Decree of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, is devoid of any foundation. These reports are completely false. [Snip] I therefore wish to make it clear that I did not go to the Vatican yesterday [June 20], and that I have no intention of going to the Holy Office on June 28,... I have no intention of submitting myself to a show trial...

OP posted partially a Viganò quote I had selected to highlight myself. Here it is in full.
"Bergoglio’s “church” is not the Catholic Church, but rather that “conciliar church” born from Vatican Council II and recently rebranded with the no less heretical name of “synodal church.” If it is from this “church” that I am declared to be separated by schism, it will be for me a cause for honor and pride."
Vatican II was born with great intentions. Its documents on theology and doctrine are beautiful. Unfortunately its implementation was hijacked by radical socialist clerics despite the efforts of Pope Paul VI. The pontificate of St. John Paul II was a blessing and a respite. His greatest gift to his beloved Church was the 1993 edition of the Catechism of the Catholic Church which made the doctrines and teachings of the faith easily accessible to the laity and those taking instruction. Pope Benedict was a worthy successor, and his great gift to the modern church was reinstating the celebration of the Latin Rite Mass. Indeed, the great scandal of his unusual retirement and the rise of Bergoglio is a story of Vatican intrigue yet to be written.
Archbishop Vigano references the “conciliar church” that arose after Vatican II wherein the conclave of bishops began a "collaborative" effort with the pope regarding church matters that had previously been under papal preview only. Two years ago Bergoglio convened the ludicrously named "Synod on Synodarity". I paid no attention to any news about those meetings. My bishop didn't attend, so there was no mention of their activities in our diocese.
I agree with the good Archbishop, it is no dishonor to be declared in schism from this current church leadership. God the Father sees and knows all, and He will be the Final Judge. God bless Archbishop Vigano for standing for the truth.

The archbishop is in the right, with the Bible. The Vatican mafia and the Commie pope are on the wrong track, against the Bible.

The same in the Church as in a marriage, it is a love relationship, not a shopping experience, and we are to recall at all times that practically the last thing the Lord Jesus Christ asked for was unity. It is a given, it is a given, it is a given, that the Church leadership are sinners just as we are. How much more clear could the Gospels be, than tell us that Peter betrayed the Lord three times, and everybody else ran away except John. We know. We know. We know... That they are sinners an always were, and so are we, and that knowing this in advance, Christ prayed till the blood ran out of him, that we be one. And Vigano prefers to highlight the sins of others. Very understandable in a human and weak way. But not what his dying Redeemer asked of him. May they be one, Father, as we are one.

The members of the Catholic Church still living are known as the Church Militant. Archbishop Viganò is a general I will gladly follow. We both understand to whom we will truly answer for our actions in our lives and that Person does not live in Rome.

Sincere due respect to the comments in #4, but I am confused...
Yes, of course, pursuit of "unity" must be humankind's goal and we, as Christians, must strive to achieve it on a personal level and beyond. We are commanded to forgive and that is a beautiful, yet vexing, challenge. But does that mean accepting sinful behavior so as not to upset the mission of the hierarchy? Did Jesus not point out sinful behavior and clearly call for its correction?
No Pope owns the Church, and he certainly shouldn't be running it as a political entity. Coming out with the occasional statement that aligns with traditional Roman Catholic norms does not erase behavior and statements that are, at best, questionable. I'm quite confident that Vigano would be the first to call himself a sinner. Suggesting otherwise seems to be twisting logic.

#1, I appreciate the clarification of Vatican II. I was in elementary school when this change happened and I remember it being a good thing, originally. We do indeed live in interesting times, and are witnessing great upheavals in our major institutions. The demons that have been loosed upon the world have successfully highjacked good intentions by the weak-minded. Finding the strength to keep moving forward in faith is our biggest challenge. The question is can those institutions be reformed back to their original intent, or do we have to from new institutions?

#2~ Thank you, sincerely appreciated. Note: Comments Section word count precluded sharing entire quotation. / As someone surmising an individual’s preferred earthly religious denomination may not be the most important attestation of faith that will matter upon our demise as will be an individual’s heartfelt commitment to belief, trust, and love of our Lord (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), along with adhering to Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, it is in that spirit this cradle-to-grave committed LCMS Lutheran wants to defend Archbishop Viganò in his efforts to protect and adhere to the true teachings of Scripture.
Archbishop Viganò’s plight is reminiscent of what Martin Luther had to endure in the 16th century. Martin Luther stood before the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V at the Imperial Diet (meeting) in the German city of Worms on April 18, 1521 after having been excommunicated by Pope Leo X for teaching the pure Gospel. Martin Luther appeared before the Emperor twice and each time was told to take back his teachings. Not seeing any proof against his theses or views which would move him to recant, he said, “Unless I am convinced by Scripture and plain reason - I do not accept the authority of the popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other - my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not recant anything for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. God help me. Amen.”
After leaving the negotiations room, Martin Luther said “I am finished.” He “was dismissed, and not arrested because he had a letter of safe conduct (Schutzbrief) which guaranteed him 21 days of safe travel through the land. He headed home on April 25. When Luther and the princes who supported him left Worms, THE EMPEROR imposed an Imperial Act (Wormser Edikt): LUTHER IS DECLARED AN OUTLAW (HE MAY BE KILLED BY ANYONE WITHOUT THREAT OF PUNISHMENT).”
Fast-forward to the 21st century and the plight of Bishop Juhana Pohjola of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission Diocese of Finland (ELMDF) and Dr. Päivi Räsänen, Finnish Member of Parliament and physician. They had been “charged with hate crimes for their expression of historic Christian teaching on human sexuality” and, after five years of litigation, in November 2023 were “acquitted on all charges in a unanimous decision by the Helsinki Court of Appeals.”
Not satisfied with the acquittal of Dr. Päivi Räsänen, Finland’s State prosecutor appealed the case to Finland’s Supreme Court. Despite this wife of a Lutheran pastor and grandmother of 12 having been acquitted unanimously of “hate speech” charges found under the “war crimes and crimes against humanity” section of the Finnish Criminal Code, she is standing trial for a third time for her Bible-verse tweet.
The “essence” of “conflict” appears to be the Word of God--what is written Scripture that defines how mortal man is to worship and live life. Regarding false prophets/teachers, Martin Luther’s commentary as it relates to Galatians 1:6 ~~ “Note the resourcefulness of the devil. Heretics do not advertise their errors. Murderers, adulterers, thieves disguise themselves. So the devil masquerades all his devices and activities. He puts on white to make himself look like an angel of light. He is astoundingly clever to sell his patent poison for the Gospel of Christ. ...” Reminder, Ephesians 6:10-18.
Martin Luther (1483-1546) ~ “From the beginning of my Reformation I have asked God to send me neither dreams, nor visions, nor angels, but to give me the right understanding of His Word, the Holy Scriptures; for as long as I have God's Word, I know that I am walking in His way and that I shall not fall into any error or delusion.”

Archbishop Viganò sent this published statement exclusively to LifeSiteNews on June 21, 2024. He explained that the “Jesuit magazine ‘America’ (“the megaphone of the Jesuit Bergoglio”) rushed ahead, while ‘Vatican News’ was still totally unaware of the Decree” sent to him on June 11th. He concludes the statement by declaring “Bergoglio’s ‘church’ is not the (true) Catholic Church” but now ‘conciliar church’ and recently rebranded the...heretical name of ’synodal church’ from which it would give him “a cause for honor and pride” if it is the synodal church that would declare him to be separated by schism.
