People of a certain age will remember the name “Donald Segretti.” In the 1972 re-election campaign of President Richard Nixon, this youthful campaign aide made the phrase “dirty tricks” part of the American political lexicon. Segretti’s mischief included sending embarrassing letters under the names of Nixon’s political rivals. Although his dirty tricks had little or no effect on the election’s outcome, Segretti served four and a half months in prison.
With Segretti’s four and a half months as a baseline, the 51-plus dirty tricksters who conspired successfully to get Joe Biden elected president in 2020 would seem to deserve no less. Confident to a fault about

Prison? Tar, feathers, and being run out of town on a rail will suffice.

At minimum, permanent removal of security clearances, and some sort of a substantial fine for election fraud.
Say, $50K each, and no security clearance, EVER again.

All, including Facebook, need to see prison time, the precedent was set in 1972.
The intel officials however, due to their positions, should receive the maximum penalty under the law.

Their actions have saddled us with Biden and all of his country-destroying policies and laws. Our economy is in the toilet. Our world position in oil/gas production has fallen. The price of everything has skyrocketed. Homes and mortgages have made homes unaffordable.
We've been flooded by millions of illegals who not only do not share American values but pose profound terror risks. The Middle East and Ukraine are immeasurably more dangerous and thousands have died as a consequence. SoI am asked whether these clowns deserve prison. Hell no! They deserve much much worse.

I'd be happy if they spent six months in prison, each, but I just don't think that will happen, unfortunately.
Pulling security clearances, permanently, could easily be done, would help disconnect them from power.
And a nice chunky fine should be easy, too. Maybe a year's pension gross would be a good fine.

Prison. Loss of security clearance. Loss of pension. (And that last one will be the one that is worse than the death penalty to all the swamp bureaucrats in DC.)

Trump should yank their security clearance on day one.
It would not take a trial. And, it would sideline the liars and cost them employment.

Yes, heck yes - both the plotters as well as the participants. The whole bunch of them were involved in a political version of a RICO case. They actually did what Trump is being charged with.

They knowingly and willingly interfered in an election with their fraudulent declaration which was later used by the Biden campaign in one of the debates to make a counter point against the laptop.
At a minimum, this should be acknowledged, and presume will be in the first debate, as being wrong and incorrect.
Some who signed that letter of declaration have admitted they knew it wasn't true the rest if they didn't know it wasn't true should have known better than to be used like they were.
All of them should lose their security clearances.

What's the penalty for making a false statement? As an employee of a federal law enforcement agency?
Loss of job! Prison! Loss of pension!

I don't know what their sentence should be, but it is certain they should no longer be considered to work in intelligence.
They all should be looking for jobs.

Let me think.
Transmitted disinformation? Yes
Materially affected the outcome of an election by lying? Yes
Arguably treasonous? Yes
I think prison would be too good for those people. First, bankrupt them through the legal process and then line them up in front of a firing squad. Don't forget to fire.

Do these 51 deserve prison? Yes, and they have plentyof company. The list of Democrats who deserve incarceration over the 2020 election and the trampling of the US Constitution is LONG, without mentioning their willing lackeys in gvt institutions and the main stream media. I'd re-open Alcatraz and happily stock it with all the traitors.

How about prison then sanction like they do with crooked wall street bankers who can never trade again. Strip them of their clearances, pensions and deny them the ability to speak with anyone who works in any security agency in the U.S. as well as speaking publicly about their previous jobs. Matter of National Security of course. Failure in any of the above send them to GITMO. It is in a workers paradise country so they should feel right at home.

The DoJ, our intelligence community, and the IRS at a minimum have been acting to hide the activities of the Biden family from public scrutiny.
But it's Trump who's the threat to democracy?

In their little minds, they were only doing the bidding of the party that was going to be in power for the next few decades and they were saving democracy. After all, Russian disinformation was a real thing. Imagine their surprise when they did not receive medals for their loyalty. They should be pardoned and allowed to disappear with their retirement bonuses.
"What did you do in the war, daddy?"
"I was saving the world and democracy, son,"
"Wow."

Of course they should. My goodness. If paying your attorneys invoice qualifies as election interference, surely endorsing a false narrative to obstruct free speech is as well. Recall, the Post lost all social media access due to their hoax, as did we all.
They rely on nuance to protect them from answering to the American people for blatantly providing false witness during a Presidential election and debate.

They at least deserve to lose their top secret status, perhaps with a restraining order against contacting anyone in the Intel community. Violations can then be handled as operations by foreign agents, and dealt with accordingly.

This was an outright conspiracy to save the Vegetable and "interfere with" the 2020 election. The MacBook had been verified as belonging to favorite son Hunter simply by matching the serial number of the owner and the information was suppressed to save BiteMe's sorry rear end!

Yes, all deserve prison at ADX Florence in Colorado. In solitary confinement with only one hour out for exercise. Scratch that for these ingrates 30 minutes.
