Cupertino, California CNN — Apple just kicked off a brand new era for the company with the introduction of its first generative AI features for the iPhone. At its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, the company unveiled the first batch of tools powered by “Apple Intelligence,” from personalized Genmoji – Apple’s AI-generated emoji – to a significantly smarter Siri, which can answer questions about your schedule, what’s in your email and what time your loved one’s flight is landing. It also announced a partnership with ChatGPT creator OpenAI to power the features. Although the partnership will likely give the company a much-needed boost, Apple aligning itself with a company and a technology

Calling this "AI" intelligent is much like calling CNN credible. Hastily grown Expert Systems being oversold has having actual reasoning engines, when they're really just complex Finite State Machines with an insufficiently tested ability to add rules to its own library. They're abusing people's trust and playing with fire. Irresponsible AND duplicitous... about par for the course with Crapple...

Yet the low-info Apple groupies will again line up around the block when the next-generation phone is released. How obsessed are these people? Many users of dating apps won't even reply to inquiries from Android phones - obvious losers who don't rate the time of day.

We'll see, Siri is the Dumbest Rock in the Box, let's see if she can: 1. Understand English 2. Not go into semantics for the search and come up with an idiotic response 3. Stay on task and stop wandering all over the internet AND 4. Stop removing the results before the phone OWNER has a chance to tap one of the options. Hey Apple, If you're not too busy counting your Billions, how about fixing the Stupid stuff Siri does!

Unless this is truly something one can refuse and not be tricked into installing, I would rather choose some other phone. We've seen the slant that Google and other AI's apply to searches. The more deeply we become influenced by malicious programming the less we'll know as true in every sphere.

Only the idiots at CNN would think AI is the big thing. It isn’t. The big thing is the introduction of realtime satellite communication for the masses via text, and very soon, voice. This is revolutionary for global communications. It will free people to communicate from almost anywhere on the planet without towers or lines.

As we reported, Hunter Biden was convicted on three gun charges on Tuesday. Joe Biden issued a statement saying that he would accept the outcome, although he said Hunter would be considering an appeal. He had previously said he would not pardon Hunter. The liberal media immediately went into overdrive, declaring "fairness" to have been established, as though that made all the issues in the trial against former President Donald Trump cool. Meanwhile, ironically, Biden was scheduled to speak at the Everytown "Gun Sense" event in Washington, D.C. He ended up not addressing the conviction, but he exhibited some of the worst incoherence that I have ever seen from him.

Pro-Hamas protests are raging at UCLA as of this writing, with a large group of roving demonstrators engaged in what the Los Angeles Times ludicrously labels “largely peaceful” activities, like trying to break into buildings, assaulting journalists, bloodying a security guard, and vandalizing school property. They put red dye in a fountain, splashed red dye on the steps, carted around fake corpses and dismembered body parts while reading the names of people who have supposedly died in Gaza. They neglected to read out any of the names of the victims of the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack: Protesters formed a roving pro-Palestinian camp on UCLA’s campus Monday afternoon

Domestic support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on the rise as the Jewish State’s war against the Iran-backed Islamic terror group Hamas advances, according to poll numbers showing the right-wing bloc in Israel nearing 60 seats. Israel’s Channel 14 published the results of a survey conducted by Direct Polls on Monday, showing that if elections were held now, Netanyahu’s Likud Party would receive 26 mandates, one of its best numbers since the October 7 massacre — the most brutal attack on Jews since the Nazi Holocaust. In a matchup for prime minister between Netanyahu and his longtime rival, centrist Benny Gantz, Netanyahu is the preferred candidate, securing 47 percent

After his election victory, one of Omidyar’s groups, called Reset, explained how it would use the Biden presidency to implant its people to pursue its goals, specifically targeting agencies it believed had sway. “Most promisingly, the Biden administration may open the door for specific actions on antitrust

It's no secret that Americans are angry about the situation at the border, and that Democrats have finally woken up to that fact. There are signs of panic everywhere, but the exclamation point was Biden's (weak, almost fake) Executive Action taken to restrict entrants at the border. It was more for show than to relieve the stress at the border or in the cities across America that have been flooded with unwelcome illegal migrants, but at least it was a rhetorical acknowledgment that the border crisis is a political problem for Dems. Jen Psaki was joking about the polls on immigration not so long ago,

The students are also represented by Clement & Murphy, PLLC. In the lawsuit, Frankel v. On Saturday morning Israeli forces stormed two buildings in Nuseirat, Gaza. Their mission was to rescue four hostages being held in the "refugee camp," all of whom were taken from the Nova Music Festival on October 7th. What they found wasn't a Hamas command center, though. Instead, the hostages were being kept in alleged civilian households. Fierce fighting broke out, with a "journalist" named Abdullah Al Jamal killed as one of the apartments was breached. That led to immediate claims that Israel had indiscriminately gunned down a member of the press. The truth was far more sinister. As RedState's Jennifer Van Laar first reported, the three male hostages who were successfully

The conventional wisdom concerning vice-presidential picks is that they don’t really matter because voters focus on the top of the ticket in presidential elections. This is ordinarily true, but 2024 is no ordinary election. This time the winner will be the oldest president ever inaugurated, so it’s eminently possible that his vice-president will be called on to finish his term. We know what that means if Biden wins, so Trump’s running mate will receive more than the usual amount of voter scrutiny. Thus, he must not choose another irascible white male or any Florida resident. This eliminates all but one

The rapacious Democrats in California are at it again, dreaming up a new tax, this time one that would see car owners charged for every mile they drive. The scheme to grab even more money from the state’s beleaguered citizenry is not just being “debated,” either. There is already a pilot program in motion, called the 2024 Road Charge Collection Pilot, where car owners install a device into their vehicle that tracks their driving and tallies up a tax on them. The new way of collecting road taxes will reportedly replace the state’s exorbitant gas taxes. At 51 cents per gallon,
