There were a lot of ceremonies for D-Day in Normandy on Thursday.
So that's a lot for Joe Biden, who normally has a very limited schedule — and doesn’t even seem up to that.
As I noted earlier, Biden seemed very tired, both speaking to David Muir from ABC and earlier on Thursday in the ceremonies.
He appeared to try to sit down when everyone else was standing in a truly weird moment. Then Jill hustled him out of there while French President Emmanuel Macron was still greeting the honored veterans.
Then the group went to Omaha Beach for the next segment of the ceremonies.

Though it's been less than a week since the Trump verdict, Karma has begun playing peek-a-boo with the Marxists still taking victory laps on Facebook.
It appears the commies once again thought they had Trump on the ropes over the obvious-to-anyone-who-isn't-a-pinko Stormy Daniels bookkeeping case that was never a case.
Stalinistas celebrate every time they think they have Trump trapped, and, like Charlie Brown and Lucy's football, they always end up landing on their thong-saddled, non-binary bahookies, wondering what happened.
Let's pour a bourbon and have a laugh at the purple-haired dunderbutts who, yet again, thought they had finally taken down the greatest president since Ronald Reagan.

Joe Biden was in Normandy on Thursday morning to recognize the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and if there's anything you can take away from his performance on the world stage, it's that his performance on the debate stage later this month is going to be a disaster — if it even happens. I'm still skeptical.
Democrats have long tried to counter the narrative that Biden isn't mentally fit to be president, citing his State of the Union address as proof. However, there are suspicions that Biden was drugged for that address earlier this year. It's almost unfortunate that he didn't receive another dose before embarrassing the United States in France.

Imagine picking up every man in a medium-sized city, everything they’ll need to eat and drink and rest for a few days, any vehicles they might need, gasoline, of course, plus lots of guns and ammo — did I mention this was a hunting trip? — and then moving all those men and all that stuff in a few short hours a distance of anywhere from 30 to 125 miles or so.
Now imagine that you have to move all those people and all that stuff partly by air, but mostly across heavy seas in foul weather.
Under enemy fire.

Thieves in California are stealing fire hydrants throughout Los Angeles County, leaving communities at risk if there’s an emergency.
According to ABC 7, over 100 hydrants have been stolen this year alone. One resident, Krystal Cousins lives between two fire hydrants in the Florence-Firestone area. She told reporters that both of them were stolen on Thursday.
"It's mind-boggling that someone would just come into a neighborhood and just steal a fire hydrant," neighbor Krystail Cousins said. "You're now putting a whole neighborhood in danger."
"Having no fire hydrant on the street is a whole lawsuit right there if something were to go up in flames. People do fireworks all night over here.

Last Friday, President Joe Biden laid out a ceasefire proposal as part of the Israel-Hamas War, which will involve using American taxpayer dollars to rebuild the Gaza Strip. There's been pushback from Israel over the validity of the details, especially since they involve what the Jewish State would never agree to, though our ally in the Middle East isn't the only one displeased with Biden's announcement.
On Tuesday afternoon, a group known as the Tikva Forum for Families of Hostages released a statement from their X account making clear they want Biden to step back from his meddling.

America is not over, no matter how dire everything looks. And it is dire – we’re becoming an impotent and impoverished banana republic that is pushed around by foreign s*****gs overseas and perverts, crooks, and commies here at home. When you look at the depths into which our country has fallen, you have to wonder whether we Americans can ever rise to the occasion again. Is there greatness still within us? Can we ever be great again?
Hell yeah.
We are the inheritors of a legacy of greatness. This is the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and if you’ve seen Saving Private Ryan,

Vice President Kamala Harris’ appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show had to be reshot because activists from the far left-wing group Code Pink sprung an ambush. From the audience, multiple Code Pink operatives hurled insults, chiding the vice president for enabling genocide in Gaza. One man is seen waving a Palestinian flag. While being escorted out, they pepper Harris one last time, asking how many babies she has killed and why she supports continued funding to Israel. [Video]
“15,000 babies dead because of you!”
“Stop the genocide!”
“You’re a murderer!”
“Real babies have been beheaded, not the fake babies that Joe Biden said he saw,” shouted another activist.

Longtime readers of mine are familiar with my overwhelming disdain for Paul Krugman, the Opinion section ultra-hack at The New York Times. I've lost count of how many columns I've written about this partisan lapdog.
Krugman fancies himself a genius's genius because he once won a Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. That's a Nobel-adjacent prize — he's not a laureate. Still, it's quite an achievement in his chosen field.
It doesn't mean he knows anything outside of that chosen field, however.
For most of the past two years, I've been writing about Krugman's stream of finger-wagging articles telling the American public that they aren't really suffering under Bidenomics.

Of all the phony baloney things I've heard about Joe Biden, this one ranks extremely high up there as one of the most insane takes possible.
During a recent appearance on MSNBC, Andrew Weissmann, who was an attorney for the Mueller investigation and former general counsel to the FBI, literally gushed over Joe Biden, essentially calling him the embodiment of the rule of law.
"What is before us is a president who is living, the rule of law he is living in ...the most personal way," he claimed. "He is not telling DOJ to stand down, which is his power to do it. It's a norm.

With Joe Biden trailing in the polls and many Democrats panicking about the 2024 election, I don't doubt that many of them felt that the sham trial would be the silver bullet that took down Donald Trump's campaign. It wasn't.
Since the guilty verdicts in his New York trial, Donald Trump has raised a staggering amount of money from Americans outraged by the two-tiered justice system and more energized to vote for him than ever. If Democrats were expecting or hoping that Trump would take a major dive in the polls, there's no evidence yet that is going to happen.

Officials in Baltimore County, Maryland, helped a convicted illegal alien sex offender evade deportation for weeks by suspending his prison sentence and setting him loose into the community, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials say.
Raul Calderon-Interiano, a 25-year-old Guatemalan national, first arrived at the United States-Mexico border near Laredo, Texas, as an unaccompanied alien child (UAC) in June 2014. Calderon-Interiano was subsequently given a Notice to Appear (NTA) in federal immigration court at a later date.
In November 2014, Calderon-Interiano was transferred by the Office of Refugee Resettlement to an adult sponsor in Maryland. The following year, in October 2015, a federal immigration judge ordered Calderon-Interiano deported from the U.S.
