Biden and the leftist and progressive Democrats know that the vast majority of asylum claims filed by illegal aliens have been denied, about 90%, after the claimants were found to have entered the USA to take a US job or to commit criminal activity, factors that do not give aliens eligibility for asylum in the USA. That alone shows that Biden’s policy statement that all aliens from all over the world who “might” be eligible for asylum in the USA must be allowed to gain entry to the USA to pursue asylum claims in the US immigration court system “because that’s who we are” is ridiculous! Dramatically close the border is bull dust. There will be about 1 million entering the country per year. Countries will dump their undesirables and send them toward America just a Castro sent all that were in asylums in Cuba were sent to America. It would make no difference with congress or the senate sending a bill that would close the border and clean up the current immigration laws Biden would not sign the bill.
