Donald Trump is pleading for the Supreme Court to intervene in his hush money trial has he awaits sentencing on 34 counts of falsifying documents on July 11.
It came as Trump was welcomed back to Mar-a-Lago by a huge throng of supporters cheering for him and holding signs, in a video posted by Senior Advisor Dan Scavino.
Many of the supporters lined the streets with flags supporting Trump or slamming President Biden. Others followed in the footsteps of Marjorie Taylor Greene, holding the American flag upside down as a sign of protest.

This is far more important than the 2000 election. They should take the case immediately.

I agree because any NY court can't be trusted now, the judges are biased and political, Mershan and Ergon are just two of them.

Contrary to what Jonathan Turley asserts, the USSC can and must intervene on this case on an emergency appeal as it is not only blatant election interference but the precedent threatens the very heart of US jurisprudence. Left to it's own devices, the NYS appellate process will take years, which was the point of the timing of the verdict.

Mark Levin brilliantly laid out the unconstitutional actions of Bragg and Merchan and how they completely destroyed the concept of "Due Process" to conduct the sham trial of Donald Trump. The Supreme Court could throw it out immediately and have the Soros-paid flunkies arrested. If they don't, their suspected complicity will be obvious.

IMO the Supreme Court will not get within a mile of this case until they absolutely have to.

The Supreme Joke will never take this case≥ In Gore V Bush, the Supreme Joke established its precedent of ignoring the Constitution. All the Supreme Joke had to do was rule that the legislature alone, not the Executive or Judicial branch, establishes election law. But the Supreme Joke ignored the constitution and gave us 2020 instead. Any entity could make up election law so long as it benefited Democrats. And then The Supreme Joke bent over backwards to avoid hearing any case that involved the constitution after the 2020 'selection'. Don't expect the Supreme Joke to change its precedent now.
The Supreme Joke has been very clear that it will Not interfere with Democrats as they interfere with elections.

Until they are forced to the SCOTUS will not intervene. They still might not. Unless there is an outcry about the degree to which Trump's ability to campaign is affected it is unlikely they will move before the case winds up through the appeals process. I am sure both the court and the WH are carefully watching and calculating.

Leftists are clinging for dear life to this situation.
Their goal is to provoke an incident.
I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

I'm surprised the Supreme Court hasn't already stepped in to stop this. The violation of a former president's Constitutional rights seems a good reason to step in before even being asked to do so. This shouldn't take too much of their time. A decision to throw this out shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

Chief Justice Roberts aka Compromised Johnny will make sure that the SCOTUS won't come anywhere near this case unless absolutely necessary. I think they should take it up ASAP but what do I know.

The conviction should be swiftly vacated per curiam by the Supreme Court for lack of state jurisdiction over violations of FECA "and related criminal offenses." The following MOU is based upon 28 U.S.C. 516, by which Congress gave DOJ exclusive jurisdiction over violations of federal acts except where otherwise excepted. Thus:
"On April 19, 2023, the (Federal Election) Commission approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Election Commission and the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) to promote the enforcement of the federal campaign finance laws. The MOU establishes guidelines for the Commission and DOJ to engage in parallel proceedings, share information in appropriate circumstances, and otherwise properly advance the missions of both agencies subject to all relevant legal and ethical constraints informed by the mutual respect of the independence of each agency.
"The Commission has exclusive jurisdiction over civil enforcement of the federal campaign finance laws. The Commission also administers, formulates policy, issues formal interpretations, and promulgates regulations to implement and clarify these laws.
"DOJ has exclusive jurisdiction of criminal enforcement of the federal campaign finance laws, including related criminal offenses." See: https://www.fec.gov/updates/commission-approves-memorandum-of-understanding-between-the-fec-and-department-of-justice/

It's hard to trust the USSC these days. Saw a ultra left wing magazine in a discount book store in Corpus this weekend. The cover was blaring how the SCOTUS could put President Trump above the law. Just SMDH, but know the commies are counting on people believing such tripe.
