Amal Clooney, the stylish, Lebanese-British wife of a Hollywood hunkster, a Dior-clad champion of the downtrodden and oppressed, has proven herself to be a colossal phony. And a dangerous one.
As a self-described human-rights lawyer, Amal, 46, is chief architect and booster of the shameful indictment of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes before the International Criminal Court.
As an afterthought, the Amal-led body also brought forth arrest warrants for the leaders of Hamas, creating a moral equivalency between terrorists who slaughtered, raped and kidnapped more than 1,200 Israelis and tourists without provocation,

The Netherlands-based International Criminal Court on Monday exposed itself as a deeply antisemitic and politicized institution that ignores facts and jurisdiction to conduct lawfare against democracies that defend themselves against terrorism.
American policy should now turn toward pressuring allies to defund this kangaroo court and imposing financial sanctions to grind its operations to a halt.
The ICC’s indictment of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes has nothing to do with law and everything to do with lawfare –

President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee said Monday that they raised more than $51 million in April, falling well short of the $76 million that Donald Trump and the Republican Party reported taking in for the month.
Biden’s reelection campaign said it had $192 million in cash-on-hand as of the end of last month, which it said was higher than any Democratic candidate in history. But that was also roughly the same amount it reported having at the end of the year’s first quarter on March 30 — suggesting the campaign was spending funds as quickly as it raised them.
April’s totals were also down sharply from March,

Ebrahim Raisi stood close to the pinnacle of power in the Islamic Republic and was widely tipped to rise to its very top.
A dramatic turn dealt him a different hand.
His death in a helicopter crash on Sunday has upended the growing speculation over who will eventually replace the 85-year-old Supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose own health has long been the focus of intense interest.
The tragic fate of Iran’s hardline president is not expected to disrupt the direction of Iranian policy or jolt the Islamic Republic in any consequential way.
But it will test a system where conservative hardliners now dominate all branches of power, both elected and unelected.

Former President Donald Trump has led President Joe Biden in nearly every poll this cycle in Nevada — a state that hasn’t gone Republican in 20 years. A Nevada victory would net Trump six electoral votes in November, a margin that could prove decisive in handing the former president a second term.
Trump boasts his largest lead of any battleground state in Nevada, where he is currently ahead by 6.2 points, while Biden has only led in three polls there all cycle, according to the RealClearPolitics (RCP) averages. Several political operatives and pollsters told the Daily Calller

As Donald Trump’s historic hush money trial nears its end, the former president’s legal team has a crucial decision to make: whether or not to ask the jury to consider misdemeanor charges in the case.
During the charge conference that precedes closing arguments – which are expected early this week – Trump’s team, by New York state law, can request what’s known as a lesser included offense (LIO) to have the jury weigh 34 misdemeanor counts of falsifying business records instead of the 34 felony counts prosecutors have alleged the ex-president committed, former judge Ethan Greenberg wrote in the Wall Street Journal Sunday.

The apparent crash of a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the country’s foreign minister and other officials is likely to reverberate across the Middle East.
That’s because Iran has spent decades supporting armed groups in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and the Palestinian territories that allow it to project power and potentially deter attacks from the United States or Israel, the sworn enemies of its 1979 Islamic Revolution.

On Thursday, as we reported there was a wild exchange between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX). Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) said in the past he's compared the House to "The Jerry Springer Show." Then in reference to the wild moments on Thursday, he said he would apologize to the show. That caused AOC to flip out and chastise him, saying that she was standing up for women, and somehow, MTG talking about Crockett's eyelashes was racist and misogynist. Crockett then tried to make money off of what she said about MTG,

In 1975 a Frenchman, Jean Raspail, wrote a fictional account of how western civilization was destroyed by unrestricted immigration from the Third World. His work, The Camp of the Saints, has been out of print for some time, but it again became popular in 2011 and Amazon now is offering it on Kindle and you can read it free online. I urge you to do so, because it is probably the most prescient novel you will ever read.

Earlier this month, the Biden administration floated a trial balloon, suggesting "senior officials across several federal U.S. agencies have discussed the practicality of different options to resettle Palestinians from Gaza who have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents."No other Middle Eastern country is crazy enough to want large numbers of Gazans to enter their country. The history of Palestinians in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria suggests that the refugees would look to overthrow the government or launch terrorist attacks against Israel from within their borders.
This apparently isn't deterring Joe Biden. Perhaps it should.

Israel is winning the war – big time. Following the catastrophic beginning of the war in Israel’s south, Israel’s armed forces have shown enormous bravery and a stick-to-it willingness to slog it out through built up areas of terror resistance and an endless web of Arab terror tunnels. The problem is that Hamas, Hizbullah, and other Iranian proxy groups do not recognize as of yet that they have lost the war. That will come, but it has yet to occur. When will Israel’s enemies realize that they have lost? They will realize this when Israel kills the leaders of Hamas, Sinwar, Def, and other leaders.

The dad of the Department of Interior staffer who dramatically resigned this week to protest the Biden administration’s support for Israel is a senior executive at a defense giant that supplies American weapons to the Land of Milk and Honey.
Lily Greenberg-Call, a special assistant to the chief of staff in the Interior Department, went out with a bang Wednesday with a red-hot resignation letter to Interior Secretary Deb Haaland.
“I can no longer in good conscience continue to represent this administration amidst President Biden’s disastrous, continued support for Israel’s genocide,” wrote Greenberg-Call, 26 who additionally condemned Israel’s “violations of international law” perpetrated with “American weapons.”
