Another week, another imbroglio involving the Mountbatten-Windsor Royal Family.
Just a few days ago, Prince Harry’s visit to London stirred controversy for King Charles not receiving him. Harry’s team said the King was ‘too busy’, but rumors say that Harry demanded Queen Camilla not be in the room during the meeting, leading Charles to deny him the meeting.
Now, it is reported that the Dukes of Sussex Harry and Meghan’s recent ‘unofficial royal trip’ to Nigeria left King Charles and Prince William ‘absolutely furious’.
The couple visited the African country over the weekend ‘to promote the Invictus Games’.

Welcome to one man's dysfunctional family. They may think they are "royal" but they are really just like so many other families. The only difference is they wear crowns, and carry scepters and occasionally ride around in a carriage surrounded by a lot of people on horseback. What a mess.

So Markle calls Nigeria "my country." When do we revoke her US citizenship?

FTA
-“Nigerians treated Meghan and Harry as if they too thought this was an official tour – all the signs were there as the couple were greeted with dances, receptions, visits to schools and charities’.”
Since Princess Harry has given up his Royal status and,
pursued his dream of becoming an American Castrotie,
I’d say,
The House of Windsor has a legitimate Theft of Services case.

I’m a bit of an outlier, but I feel sympathy for Harry. I saw pics of Diana’s funeral a few days ago, and he looked ….. there aren’t words to describe.
I think, in his subsequent efforts to be loved, he took up w Markle and is now in a royal pickle. If he leaves her, there is no guarantee he gets his children. And certainly no guarantee his dad(dy) or brother will welcome him home.
He needed therapy YEARS ago and being “royal,” it couldn’t happen.
Bless his heart.

The Royal Family needs to ignore the antics of the 'Spares". They are above even looking at them. It's a shame because I suppose King Charles would like to see his grandchildren but when they are 18, and if he is still around, he can contact them directly and welcome them, without their parents, as part of the family.

Well, there are are a lot of "Nigerian Princes" making telephone calls to the US with "great investments" all of the time. Harry and Meghan are now just as legitimate as those Nigerian princes (and princesses) so they probably felt right at home there. Either way, Harry has been involved with the Invictus Games for a long time and wishes to continue to be involved in on capacity or another. That it annoys Prince William and his father, the King, is just icing on the cake for the smarmy ungrateful brat that Harry has become.

Charles needs to man up and finally cut the cord completely with Harry. No title, no income, no perks, nothing.

Just strip Harry of every title & remove him from the line of succession.

#11, however, the shade of the foundation on her face was ratcheted up a few shades for the visit. It's quite obvious in the pictures that were in the Daily Mail.

So, Harry arrives In London, and requests a meeting with his father, but his father doesn't have the time to see his son. Then Charles back stabs his son by giving his title to Harry's brother who had nothing to do with the unit Harry and the title was assigned to. Now both are upset at Harry because of a supposed unofficial royal visit. I thought Harry gave up his royal title or something to that affect. So, if that's true, then it wasn't a royal visit.

The royals need not worry - once the word gets out that the RF didn't approve of the Markles' reception in Nigeria, no other commonwealth country will risk alienating the RF by inviting the Markles for a "state" visit. A few might make noises about ditching the commonwealth, but then they won't get invitations to the various commonwealth receptions and the photo ops with the King and Prince of Wales. Is a visit from Hapless Harry and Me Again Markle worth it? I doubt it.

If memory hasn’t failed, Queen Elizabeth II made clear that, as non-working royals, Harry and Meghan were not to use their titles for personally gainful opportunities such as marketing. Since relocating to the States and their various shameful actions against the Royal Family, there have been news stories suggesting King Charles III revoke their titles but, as a father of Prince Harry, his reticence is understandable; some news reports have suggested that Parliament strip them of their royal titles. Perhaps this “unofficial royal visit” to Nigeria may be the tipping point that brings about what appears to be a timely opportunity to take the necessary and appropriate action to strip them of their royal titles on behalf of the Royal Family as well as the citizens/subjects of the United Kingdom.

Agree with poster #4. Harry was 12 when his mum died. And Charles wasn't going to win any father of the year awards.

FTA: The pair received over 20 gifts during their visit — all of which they were able to keep since they are no longer working royals.”
So this is their new grift. Pretty clever. You know they are taking a Master Class from the Clintons.
