What do Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and Presidentish Joe Biden's National Security Council all have in common?
One man: Maher Bitar.
Bitar has an impressive CV, including Georgetown Law, a degree from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service, and a Master's from Oxford. He's just the kind of person you'd expect to do well in Washington — and he has. Before I get to that, you need a little background on SJP and UNRWA.
SJP is an explicitly anti-Israeli organization founded in 1993 and "committed to ending Israel’s occupation and colonization of all Arab lands,"

You may have noticed the campus communist uprisings are fading into the background, at least for the moment. It was pretty clear that the entitled – and universally ugly – spoiled mutants (and their professional cadre organizers) were starting to get on the collective nerves of normal Americans, plus the Biden clique was already committing to betraying Israel in favor of the terrorists. The regime media has dialed it down as they served their purpose. But don’t worry – they will be back. Even when the protest tactics – encampments, blocking freeways, rioting – become counterproductive, they are still fun for the participants. Chicago is going to be lit.

Professor Bill McGuire is a well-known vulcanologist and climate scientist who doesn't care much for humanity. He tweeted out a scathingly brilliant idea if you're in the mortuary business or work as a grave digger.
"If I am brutally honest, the only realistic way I see emissions falling as fast as they need to, to avoid catastrophic #climate breakdown, is the culling of the human population by a pandemic with a very high fatality rate." https://t.co/hzga69EhV3

Ooopsie. McGuire deleted the tweet a few hours later but had no regrets. The trouble is, we just don't understand how brilliant he is.

The news these days is too often bad. There is domestic unrest all over the United States; the Middle East is once again aflame, and Russia and China both are growing more bellicose by the day. Gas and grocery prices are up, interest rates are up, wages are stagnant, and it's raining out.
Now and then, though, a news item comes along that just makes one grin. In one such, we read today that Her Imperial Majesty Hillary I, Dowager-Empress of Chappaqua, has produced a Broadway play about the early 20th-century suffragette movement, called "Suffs" - and it's absolutely bombing: The Broadway box office numbers for the week of May 5

I always thought “ironclad” meant binding, but to President Biden it apparently means a pledge that’s good until it becomes politically inconvenient to stick to it. On at least two occasions he asserted his (and our) commitment to Israel’s defense was “ironclad”: “On July 18, 2023, seated beside Mr. Herzog. “And as I affirmed to Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu yesterday, America’s commitment to Israel is firm. And it is ironclad.” He reiterated this pledge last month: "As I told Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel's security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad - let me say it again, ironclad," Mr. Biden said.

Joe Biden used his interview with CNN's Erin Burnett Wednesday to announce that the US would cease supplying Israel with offensive weaponry if it launches its anticipated attack on the Gaza city of Rafah. (X) Biden said that the US remains committed to Israel's defense, just not to the extent of allowing it to eradicate terrorist strongholds that launched an attack on Israeli civilians. If Israel goes after the last remaining Hamas stronghold to eliminate the terrorist movement and free any hostages who happen to remain alive, Biden said, "we’re not going to supply the weapons and artillery shells used.”
Earlier today, it was confirmed that the

How many tall tales about his background has Joe Biden made up at this point?
There have been so many I long ago lost count. But there's generally a common theme: it's generally about pandering to whoever he's speaking to at the time.
So on Wednesday, as I wrote earlier, he told this wild story about how his "theology professor" in his Catholic high school was drafted by the Green Bay Packers because he was trying to appeal to the audience. (X) “My theology professor at the Catholic school I went to was a guy named Reilly — last name — and he had been drafted

The press, and many politicians, constantly assure us that the world is in the midst of a transition from fossil fuels to “green” energy, which means wind turbines, solar panels, and mostly fictitious batteries. But is any such transition actually in progress? No. Robert Bryce has the numbers.
No such transition is taking place in the U.S.; on the contrary, last year natural gas-fired electricity generation increased 9.5 times as much as wind and solar combined: (Chart) But that’s nothing! The U.S. is rich enough to waste absurd amounts of money on pitifully inadequate wind and solar developments. Less developed countries can’t afford to be that stupid.

The use of phrases such as “pregnant people” or “penis owners” in cultural or political discourse is sometimes met with confusion, or even anger.
Why use these terms when, as some people ask, “only women can get pregnant” or when “only men have penises?”
Those people and institutions using gender-neutral language aim to be cognizant of the fact that sex doesn’t always align with gender identity, said psychiatrist Dr. Jack Drescher, past president of the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry and clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University in New York City. And it’s the most inclusive, streamlined way to refer to everyone who, regardless of their gender identity,

I don't know how the Biden team people can look at themselves in the morning, knowing what they are trying to sell the public with Joe Biden. They have seriously sold their souls for Democratic control, but in the bargain, they're endangering the nation, with the empty husk of Joe Biden "in charge."
I wrote about some of the bizarre remarks he made at the Cinco de Mayo event at the White House on Monday, including about two-year-olds crossing the border and the remark he made about cutting former President Donald Trump (which sounded like a threat).

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) did not say whether she met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un when responding to the inaccuracies reported in her new book.
Noem has been facing mounting criticism over her forthcoming book, set to be released this week, and her inclusion of a story where she details shooting and killing a dog and a goat on her property about 20 years ago. In recent days, she has faced additional scrutiny after writing in her book that she had met Kim while serving in Congress on the House Armed Services Committee.
The Dakota Scout reported last week that a meeting between Noem and Kim

Former CNN host Chris Cuomo said in a recent news segment that he is suffering from a health condition after he received a COVID-19 vaccine.
Mr. Cuomo made the revelation during his NewsNation program when he was interviewing a nurse practitioner, Sean Barcavage, who was featured in a recent New York Times article about vaccine injuries.
“We know that vaccines can have unintended consequences, AKA side effects, but nobody’s really talking about it because they’re too afraid of blame, and they just want it to go away,” Mr. Cuomo said. “But the problem is people like Sean—and me—and millions of others who still have weird stuff with their bloodwork and their lives
