Iran’s attack seemed planned to minimize
casualties while maximizing spectacle

Beirut, Lebanon — A decades-long shadow war burst out into the open overnight as Iranian drones and missiles lit up the night sky in Israel and the occupied West Bank. Tehran’s operation was highly choreographed, apparently designed to minimize casualties while maximizing spectacle. This was a complex mission. Over 300 drones and missiles navigated above Iran’s neighbors, including Jordan and Iraq — both with US military bases — before penetrating the airspace of Iran’s mortal enemy, Israel. Israel’s allies helped shoot down the bulk of these weapons, but couldn’t prevent what was long believed to be the Middle East’s doomsday scenario, the Islamic Republic’s first-ever attack on Israel.

The WSJ has just published that the US claims that Iran launched between 115 and 130 ballistic missiles. Of those ballistic missiles approximately 50% of them were intercepted. The other half either failed to launch, or crashed enroute. The officials then mocked Iran's ballistic missiles capabilities. That's still sufficient to dominate regional nations without Israel's defensive capabilities.

If the mob were to similarly conduct a "demonstration attack" with no casualties on the FBI, should the feds "accept the win?"

All drama to get the American people to support billions more for Ukraine and Israel --- and get nothing for the border, or anything else. I don't know where all the money is going to come from: reparations, green new deal, climate change, Democrat slush funds, Baltimore bridge, free college education. Biden now has gotten Jordan and Great Britain involved militarily in the Middle East War. So far, Biden has gotten wars with Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Jordan, Great Britain, EU, China, Iran, all involved. Don't you worry though. Biden has 9 more months, at least, to get more countries involved in a war.

It was a farce. The drones must have been bought at a discount at Walmarts and the missiles probably self destructed. If that all Iran has they had better be much more controlled with their threats. This was designed by Obama IMO.

It was all for show. The only benefit was Iran and other enemies can analyze what happened and look for vulnerabilities. Israel has demonstrated that they can strike virtually anywhere, and that has Iranian 'leaders' scared to death. Don't believe any of the media hype.

Nothing the Iranians do make sense to the western mind. I will say the the attack surprised me in how it unfolded. Were I to ordered out a strike, I would have started with Ballistic and cruise missiles, with my proxies firing off drones just before the missiles were due to strike. By sending of the drones first, Iran gave EVERYONE hours of advanced warning. So perhaps, the story is true.

This was a farcical attack. Almost ALL the assault vectors failed to reach Israel, let alone their targets. There was only minor damage. For Iran to claim they have taught Israel a lesson is ridiculous. The only lesson taught is that Iran is a paper clown tiger. They are certainly dangerous because they are sneaky and support terrorists. But in a direct confrontation, they are incompetent and weak. There is so much speculation and misdirection in this article that is shows why CNN is circling the drain. Iran may be considered a big fish in the little Middle East pond but Saddam Hussein was too and his country fell to the US in 3 WEEKS. It is amazing that we are still putting up with these morons. We don't need their oil and they should be squashed like the annoying bugs that they are. I would love to see Israel obliterate their Command and Control structure and watch them stumble around blindly.

Nikki Haley has joined the Hudson Institute. The Hudson Institute is a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C. It is known for focusing on international affairs and national security. This sounds like a good fit for her. After being the last challenger standing in the Republican presidential primary, she has wasted no time in securing her next job. She suspended her campaign in March. Haley's impressive resume is well-known. A two-term governor and the former ambassador to the United Nations in the Trump administration, the Hudson president and CEO released a short statement acknowledging her hiring.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. House of Representatives will consider aid to Israel and Ukraine as separate legislation this week, Republican Speaker Mike Johnson said on Monday, more than two months after the Senate passed a bill combining the two. Leaving a meeting of House Republicans on Monday evening, Johnson said the narrowly divided chamber would consider four bills altogether that would also include aid to Taiwan, U.S. allies in the Indo-Pacific and U.S. national security priorities. "We know that the world is watching us to see how we react," Johnson told reporters. "They're watching to see if America will stand up for its allies and in our

As RedState reported earlier, unlike the pro-Hamas protesters who deliberately stalled traffic Monday in Democrat-run cities like Chicago and San Francisco (where the Golden Gate Bridge was "occupied" for several hours), the ones who tried it in Miami quickly learned that no games would be played by law enforcement officers who took control of the scene almost immediately. Video clips show Miami police officers dragging the radical leftists, some of whom had tethered themselves to each other, off the streets like sacks of flour and dumping them on the sidewalks before they could successfully block the PortMiami entrance. Arrests were made soon after.

I wanted to end my headline with "Joe Biden Hardest Hit," but it would've been too long and perhaps a bit too snarky. Besides, we'll get to that part in a bit. Either way, it's coming, folks, and the Islamist extremists in Iran will deserve every minute of an Israeli retaliatory counter-strike, which is reportedly already in the making. Israel's reliable Channel 12 news carried the initial report on Monday, which has since been widely covered by local media in the Jewish state. Here's more: Israel has decided to hit Iran “clearly and forcefully” and is already preparing its warplanes to carry out the strike. The reported decision comes after two

Protesters in dozens of cities across America are participating in the “Global Strike for Gaza” today. They’re attempting to effect economic blockades to coincide with Tax Day. Iran’s attack on Israel this weekend didn’t deter the pro-Palestinian groups from holding the already-planned events. In Chicago, protesters organized by a group called Chicago Dissenters blocked the access road to O’Hare International Airport at around 8:30 a.m. to protest Boeing, which sells military equipment to Israel. Activists posted videos on social media of irritated airline customers walking along the shut-down road with luggage in tow. Some of the comments on the post mocked “the privilege of being annoyed”

The United States Supreme Court on Monday allowed Idaho to enforce its statewide ban on puberty-blocking drugs, hormone therapy, and sex-change surgeries for minors. The Court, in a 6–3 decision, ruled that the 2023 law may go into effect, though the state cannot apply it to the two plaintiffs who challenged the legislation. The Court granted Idaho’s emergency request after U.S. District Court Judge B. Lynn Winmill ruled that the state’s government could not enforce the law during ongoing litigation and argued that the measure likely violates what she saw as parents’ rights to decide the medical treatment their children receive. The Idaho state government has appealed the December

SAN ANTONIO — A group of protesters demonstrated outside the Valero headquarters in San Antonio on Monday morning to express their opposition to Israeli military action in Gaza. Traffic was tied up around the company's northwest-side campus for several hours. A spokesperson for the protesters said they were composed of different groups from San Antonio and Austin. They said they were showing support for the people of Gaza and the right of all Palestinians to be free of violence. If October 7 changed the way Israel sees Hamas, the Iranian attack over the weekend may have changed the way Hamas sees its leverage now. Their latest proposal for a cease-fire certainly implies it, coming just hours after the massive aerial attack. Hamas has not just rejected the US-drafted proposal for a 10:1 swap ratio but now refuse to swap at all until Israel withdraws from Gaza cities entirely. Has their leverage really increased that much? Or at all? Having rejected the terms of last week’s Cairo proposal for a hostage-truce deal, the Hamas terror group on Sunday reportedly presented mediators with a proposal of its own that requires Israel

By Saturday evening, I had begun to suspect that the Iranian attack on Israel wasn't just coordinated with Hezbollah, which launched its rocket attacks on the Jewish state, but also with Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, and...the United States. Probably, the other Gulf states were also given a heads-up before Iran officially announced their retaliatory strike against Israel. In a significant escalation of Middle East tensions, Iran and its proxies launched a coordinated attack against Israel. The Iranian regime sent hundreds of drones, missiles, and rockets toward the Jewish state. Most of the drones were shot down by Israel, the United States, and other allies. However, the attack has brought up concerns about igniting a broader conflict in the Middle East. Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated on Sunday that Israel does not want war with Iran but indicated that Iran’s recent aggression warrants a response. Meanwhile, leaders in Arab nations are urging restraint, fearing a bigger explosion of hostilities in the region.

On Saturday, Iran initiated a barrage of drones and ballistic missiles at Israel. Thankfully, most of them were successfully intercepted, causing minimal damage. Of course, in a stunning move, President Biden is pushing Israel not to retaliate. It's hard to imagine why Biden would do that, except when you consider that Joe Biden has been appeasing Iran since his days as Barack Obama vice president. With that in mind, it's also not surprising—though it's still shocking— that Joe Biden not only had prior knowledge of Iran's assault on Israel but also technically gave it the green light under certain conditions, according to a report from the Jerusalem Post.

It was the first time that Iran attacked Israel from its own territory, though the attack also relied on its proxies in Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. Thanks to an impressive joint response from Israel and the U.S. (with help from allies including Jordan), nearly all of the projectiles were intercepted — even over Jerusalem, Israel’s capital. There was minimal damage to an Israeli air base, which remained functional, and sadly a seven-year-old girl from a Bedouin village suffered
