Iran, through its United Nations mission in New York, issued a statement that appeared to offer Israel a way to prevent further escalation if it considers the conflict "concluded."
"Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus," the mission’s statement, posted on social media platform X, states.
"The matter can be deemed concluded," the mission argued. "However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli

Interesting capital letters. It's the mindset behind October 7th. Iran knows Israel has the power to blunt this smallish drone battle swarm. The attack and defense was a proof of concept event for Iran, China, Israel, and the US. Watching the videos of the shield defense, the target for this "training" battle was not the powerful Israelis, it was primarily Saudi Arabia (they dont like each other), along with Qatar, Bahrain and the UAE. None have Israel's defense/offense capabilities, and all have much less reaction time than Israel. Iran will absorb Israel's response. This is about regional domination.

For some reason a certain someone named Jimmy comes to mind. He believed the people of Iran should be able to choose their own leadership as if elections there would be free and fair. It was his naivety that led to this whole mess.

it seems Iran has forgotten who they just attacked ... Israel is the last nation that any adversary should consider attacking, for any reason, and will find out that although small in size Israel has one protector on their side and it's not the USofA

Agree with #1 but also suspect Iran-O’Biden collusion.
This deliberately ineffective attack, allows Iran to save face after much saber rattling and it allows Biden to appear to support Israel while still strengthening Iran. Taqiyya.

Obama and Iran working together.
Perhaps it is best to call a halt to the military actions, but we should be sanctioning the hell out of Iran.

Sort of like how Hamas offered Israel a cease-fire after it retreated to Gaza, with hostages.
Anyone who thinks they can negotiate with terrorists is a fool.

This time it was slow drones that were easy to kill. When the nuclear threat becomes reality, the world is going to wish that Israel had stopped Iran while they were still weak and ineffective. We can't afford to wait until Iran develops their nuke because they are BFFs with Russia, China and North Korea, all nuclear powers who need oil.

Poster # 3 identifies the person directly responsible for all of the wars and unrest in the Gulf region during the past few decades. Jimmy Carter pulled the rug out from under our best friend in that region to let the Islamic fundamentalists take control. The Shah of Iran was a strong ally of the US, and was allowed to shop at Uncle Sam's Club for the best military hardware--that he used to keep his Arab neighbors we;; behaved.
Israel cannot show weakness or they will not exist in their neighborhood. This attack by Iran has sealed the deal on Israel taking out the Iranian nuclear research and development sites. When our worthless leader said "don't" retaliate, Israel should ignore him just like Iran did and demonstrate the concept of "peace through strength" like the US did when we had competent leadership

Actually, it's time to "Give War a Chance." And if Israel is smart (and they are), they will.
Netanyahu knows that this continued game playing and delay of any serious response to Iran is inevitably going to result in the complete destruction of Israel when Iran acquires nukes. This is existential. Israel knows they now have to do what nobody else will do.

Nailed it, #’s 3 and 13. I have been saying for decades that all of the blood shed by Muslims since 1979 lies at the feet of Jimmy Carter. Imagine no USS Cole, no Kobar Towers, no Marine Baracks, no Twin Towers, no Pentagon, no Shanksville, PA, no October 7, none of the mass shootings which have occurred all over the world, no knife attack in Australia and on and on and on.
Carter is going to meet his final destination soon and I don’t think it will be where he thinks it is.

Indeed, Jimmah's incompetence was the final straw leading to a permanent islamic terror state. But he had plenty of help ensuring in the fall of the Shah. Cyrus Vance and Zbig Brzeziński come to mind. Compounding this was massive inefficiencies, corruption, and incompetence within Jimmah's administration that failed to see the big picture and Iran's multi-century march to islam. Fast-forwarding to today, doesn't all of this sound familiar.

One more thing I forgot to mention is that the Brits were ever-present in the middle east as the influencers of the colonial times. They certainly had their own finger in the pie in northern Africa, Israel, and Jordan to name a few. If the Brits has kept their nose out of the middle east, one can only wonder how the geopolitical landscape of the middle east would be different today. Perhaps the russkies would have filled the void? We will never know.

to #13, the underlying mistake that Jimmy Carter made was presuming that non-Christian cultures, e.g., Shia Islam, would mimic the virtues of American democracy if given the chance. What he failed to recognize is that the only reason American democracy works in America is that Judeo-Christian ethics and morality are codifed in the US Constitution, and, at least up uptil a few years ago, the American population supported those ethics. The US Constitution and its ethics have failed miserably in the few times it has been adopted in third-world countries...for similar reasons to why Carter's policy failed in Iran.
In hindsight, the mullahs of Iran gave credence only to the corrupt teachings of a pedophilic, blood-thirsty desert warlord. And the only efficient way to govern an islamic population trying to mimic that blood-thirsty warlord is with totalitarian control, such as that imposed by the Shah. It is no suprise to any thinking person that Iran has gone the path of islamic religious fanaticism...and there will be hell to pay.
