The U.S. Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation into the Boeing (BA.N), opens new tab 737 MAX blowout on an Alaska Airlines (ALK.N), opens new tab flight in January, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing documents and people familiar with the matter.

A great deal hinged on Joe Biden's performance during Thursday evening's State of the Union address. Indiana Republican Sen. Todd Young told the media on Friday, days after former President Trump’s commanding Super Tuesday performance, that he will not be endorsing the former president.
