An education advocacy group hit Portland Public Schools (PPS) with a federal civil rights complaint Thursday over a policy that requires factoring students’ race and gender identity into disciplinary decisions. Parents Defending Education (PDE) alleges in its federal civil rights complaint that PPS is violating civil rights law and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment through its new “Student Support and Discipline” policy, which requires educators to respond to “disruptive student behavior” by developing a behavior support plan that considers characteristics like race. The policy also requires the school district to assign educators based on race and gender identity.

Easy solution, don't discipline any student, same as they probably do now for a few special kinds of students that can't be expected to learn things like reading or be Disciplined.

FTA:....'based on race and gender identity' Since we've been taught that gender is both notional and mutable, then so should race be. Children are whichever race with which they identify. And therefore entitled to all the perks that apply. If race is inborn, and immutable, then why not gender? These people are dangerous idiots.

This article is an example of bad journalism. Traditionally, news articles address who, what, when, where, why, and sometimes how. There are thirty places in the USA named "Portland". This article assumes that the reader knows which one. Mention of KATU is one clue, since the K-stations are west of the Mississippi.

Relationship columnists and pop psychologists have long claimed that men and women are wired differently, and a new study has proven them correct. Scientists developed an artificial intelligence model that was able to tell the difference between scans of men's and women's brain activity with more than 90-percent accuracy. Most of these differences are in the default mode network, striatum, and limbic network - areas involved in a wide range of processes including daydreaming, remembering the past, planning for the future, making decisions, and smelling.

One of the tricks of knowing when a leftist judge is pulling a fast one is if the decision is really, really long. (snip) Indeed, generally speaking, in my thirty-five years as an attorney, I’ve never seen an appellate court uphold damages so disproportionate to actual injuries suffered—and again, there were no injuries in this case. The fact that there were no injuries in itself means that the case, from ig to zack, denied Trump due process. I don’t see the judgment surviving an appeal, that’s for sure. It succeeded wonderfully with New Yorkers, who celebrated the verdict like a popular public execution. It also worked wonderfully to make it difficult to appeal. Much of the criticism of the decision focused on the unprecedented use of the law and the excessive size of the fine. President Trump published a timely post on Truth Social earlier today on Presidents’ Day. President Trump has a keen awareness of the mood of the country. And, on this Presidents’ Day it’s hard to recognize America. The deliberate actions by the American left, the DC elites, the legacy media, and the tech conglomerates, are changing the US into a country our Founding Fathers would not recognize. Today, Joe Biden and his Obama handlers have transitioned America into a state that more closely resembles Chavez’s Venezuela than Reagan’s shining city on a hill. Democrats today have over 91 charges of lawfare leveled against him by the radical left.
