What the Hell Is Going on in Maui After
That Devastating Wildfire?

It was quite the photo-op last August for Presidentish Joe Biden when he got lei'd in Maui for all the cameras in the wake of one of America's deadliest wildfires. But six months later, Biden is accused of neglecting its victims, somebody seems to be slow-walking the recovery process, and conspiracy theories are everywhere. The worst hit was the town of Lahaina, where more than 100 people were killed, around 70 others injured, three remain missing, and countless buildings and homes were destroyed — more than 2,000. The fires spread quickly due to high winds and — this is where things got weird — civil defense sirens were never activated,

The land was owned by hundreds of small land owners, and a lot of it had older homes, many "not so nice" by wealthy folks' standards. So, a bit of 'suburban renewal' just sort of accidentally happened. Gee what a shame. My bet is that a few very wealthy folks will buy a lot of land, consolidate it into very large estates and build big homes. Islands make a good 'get away' from problems like rampaging mobs who are angry about what the globalists have done. Not easy to "drive out" to Maui from the USA to "thank them".

I've read conflicting reports as to the number of deaths, especially among children. Guess we'll never get the right number. This whole event reeks of a planned event.

Lahaina has the smell of an old fashioned land grab. Get rid of the citizens, grab the good spots for the Elite.

I site I visit has a poster who lives in Lahaina. It is shocking what he says is going on and my heart goes out to the victims. They were not allowed to visit their property after the fire and no one is sure how many are dead. This is one of my 'you couldn't write a book' times.

With the release of the Senate's $106 billion supplemental aid and border security bill reportedly imminent, Republican Sen. Mike Lee (UT) not only wants nothing to do with the so-called "bipartisan" bill; he's also had enough of Senators Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell's "corrupt approach to legislating." Lee fired off a lengthy X (formerly Twitter) post on Thursday, in which he thoroughly blistered both the bill—and Schumer and McConnell. He began by recounting a short conversation with a reporter. [Tweet] Lee was surprised by his own quick reaction to the reporter's question about whether he'd be ready to vote for the bill by Tuesday.

A 2005 clip of Morgan Freeman is circulating on social media as Black History Month kicks off, showing the actor’s distaste for the time of the year when the contributions of African Americans to the U.S. are honored. Speaking to “60 Minutes,” Mike Wallace was taken aback by his reaction to Black History Month, which Freeman panned as “ridiculous.” “You’re going to relegate my history to a month?” he asks in the clip. “What do you do with yours? Which month is White History Month?” Wallace pauses before telling Freeman he’s Jewish. The actor then asks if he’d like a Jewish History Month. Wallace says he does not.

Sometimes, the best defense is a good offense. And sometimes, offense is just a desperate ploy. Fani Willis and Nathan Wade faced a deadline today to respond to the disqualification motion filed by RICO defendant Michael Roman that alleges a personal conflict of interest. According to CBS News, Willis and Wade will acknowledge a “personal relationship” started in 2022 after Willis hired Wade to prosecute Georgia v Donald Trump et al. However, Willis’ filing rebukes Ashleigh Merchant for ‘incredibly inappropriate” intrusions on her personal life, while Wade denies that Willis benefited from the funds she paid him:

As though President Biden hasn't taken enough actions to offer aid and comfort to America's enemies already, now he is reportedly to issue an executive order (EO) threatening Israeli citizens who have settled in the West Bank. President Joe Biden is expected to issue an executive order targeting Israeli settlers in the West Bank who have been attacking Palestinianns in the occupied territory, according to four people familiar with the matter. A senior administration official, who like the others was not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, said the White House was expected to announce the order later Thursday. The order comes with Biden facing growing criticism

The Biden administration is still trying to impose more restrictions on your right to keep and bear arms. Ever since President Joe Biden took office, he has sought to pass legislation that would make it harder for responsible Americans to obtain and carry firearms. However, the makeup of Congress made it impossible to pass his most ambitious restrictions. Advertisement Because of this, the White House has been forced to seek out new and inventive ways to violate the Second Amendment and has relied heavily on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

How do you know that it's election time? Joe Biden is finally doing something about the border crisis. Not anything substantive to fix the issues, mind you, not that. He claims he doesn't have the power to do that. He's trying to shift the blame for the problem he created and has denied for three years until this month, to the Republicans, now that the election is upon us and his handlers realize it's an important issue to the American people. But he's also discovered something else with election time. He's discovered how important Ohio is and how he's losing in the polls to former President Donald Trump there,

The war between Israel and Hamas continues to rage following the October 7th attacks carried out by the latter. In what culminated in a wild scene, IDF operators dressed in disguise raided a hospital in Jenin, taking out a Hamas leader and two of his deputies. No one else was harmed. Surveillance footage showed the beginning of the operation, with one operator even showing up in a wheelchair while others dressed as Muslim women and medical workers. Later photos show the aftermath, with blood stains in the room the terrorists were hiding in. [Video, Tweet] Jenin has been a terrorist stronghold for decades.

We've been seeing more and more trouble start to pile up for Fulton County DA Fani Willis. First, there was the revelation of an alleged romantic relationship with the man she had appointed to be a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, in the election case against former President Donald Trump. That was accompanied by evidence of at least two meetings with the Biden White House, which stinks to high heaven. That was followed by the records from Wade's estranged wife Jocelyn Wade that were filed in their divorce case showing that he allegedly bought trips to go on together with Willis.

Democrat attorneys general are calling for an investigation into the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in an effort to shut down the facility. The Missouri-based plant, which is the largest producer of small arms ammunition in the U.S., has become one of the latest targets of the anti-gunner crowd in their quest to keep as many Americans disarmed as possible. The Democrats’ request, which is ostensibly intended to curb the availability of “military-grade rounds” in the commercial market, is supposed to be a step towards decreasing the prevalence of gun violence. Predictably, anti-Second Amendment Maryland Delegate Terri Hill is proposing to require prospective legal CCW holders to provide proof of a $300k insurance policy before being allowed to carry. Gun owners in Maryland would be required to buy at least $300,000 in liability insurance or forfeit their ability to carry a firearm under a new bill. Young voters are already frustrated that Joe Biden couldn’t deliver on an actual student loan bailout. Biden didn’t have the votes in Congress to pull off something of that scale, and doing so by executive decree was later deemed constitutionally questionable. He did so on a smaller scale because Joe, like crackhead Hunter, thinks the rules don’t apply to him. Still, it hasn’t masked the fact that young voters are souring on Joe; they think he’s too old, and now he’s enabling genocide in Gaza. You know there’s no genocide in Gaza. Still, the kiddos and the Muslim voters here think Treblinka 2.0 is unfolding before our very eyes,

In a dramatic setback, House Republicans failed Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, forced to shelve a high-profile priority — for now — after a few GOP lawmakers refused to go along with the party’s plan. The stunning roll call fell just a few votes short of impeaching Mayorkas, stalling the Republicans’ drive to punish the Biden administration over its handling of the U.S-Mexico border. With Democrats united against the charges, the Republicans needed almost every vote from their slim majority to approve the articles of impeachment. The House is likely to revisit plans to impeach Mayorkas, but next steps are highly uncertain.

The IRS said it is poised to reap hundreds of billions of dollars of additional tax revenue by going after overdue and unpaid taxes, far beyond what was previously anticipated, thanks to funding from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The new analysis, released Tuesday by the Treasury Department and the IRS, estimates that tax revenues are expected to rise by as much as $561 billion from 2024 to 2034, thanks to stepped-up enforcement made possible with money from the Democrats' IRA, which became law in August 2022.

Imagine a Russia-Ukraine-type conflict in the U.S. Thanks to Hollywood, most Americans believe that rebellions can be started and won by small ragtag groups of patriots, freedom fighters, insurrectionists, or everyday common folk. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) is merely a precursor to ramming amnesty for millions of illegal aliens through Congress. During an address at the White House on Tuesday, Biden praised the Senate bill that would expand overall immigration to the United States by codifying his parole pipeline that has freed hundreds of thousands of border crossers into the nation’s interior. The bill would also increase legal immigration to the U.S., even as Biden has driven the nation’s foreign-born population to nearly 50 million — the largest ever in American history.

He claimed that Trump thinks the bill is “bad for him politically,” and, therefore, it is being opposed by Republicans in the House and Senate.

Israel captured it in 1967 after Jordan joined in that war by shelling western Jerusalem. In a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu said (via Government Press Office translation): Total victory is essential because it ensures the security of Israel. Total victory
