A 2005 clip of Morgan Freeman is circulating on social media as Black History Month kicks off, showing the actor’s distaste for the time of the year when the contributions of African Americans to the U.S. are honored. Speaking to “60 Minutes,” Mike Wallace was taken aback by his reaction to Black History Month, which Freeman panned as “ridiculous.” “You’re going to relegate my history to a month?” he asks in the clip. “What do you do with yours? Which month is White History Month?” Wallace pauses before telling Freeman he’s Jewish. The actor then asks if he’d like a Jewish History Month. Wallace says he does not.

Comments:

Excellent video. I agree with Morgan Freeman.

Morgan Freeman was right in 2005 and he is still right today. Of course, self appointed, so called Black leaders and activists will vehemently differ with Freeman.

Imagine, this was back in 2005, or 19 years ago. Sandra Day O'Connor asked in a Supreme Court case how long do you need Affirmative Action? The gist was how long before people have received the education and elevated themselves. If people need to know more about certain parts of history then maybe they should expand the school day to 8 or 9 hours. Stop allowing students to leave at 2pm or even noon, in some cases. And all of those African-American studies, etc... should be teaching the history that may not be covered instead of simply producing community organizers. Interestingly, I was at a Jr. High debate tournament earlier today, and noticed there were only 2 or 3 African-American's in the whole tournament which had over 120 students. Plenty of Asian students, large numbers of Latino students, a good number of White students, and other minorities.

The left wing wants as many franchise groups as possible. The more they can place people in groups and then pretend to support these groups the easier it becomes to buy their votes. Until LBJ, blacked supported the Republican Party. All of the special laws passed to help blacks were put through by republicans NOT democrats. Once the laws were pushed through, LBJ was given credit for them and the blacks switched to democrats.

With the release of the Senate's $106 billion supplemental aid and border security bill reportedly imminent, Republican Sen. Mike Lee (UT) not only wants nothing to do with the so-called "bipartisan" bill; he's also had enough of Senators Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell's "corrupt approach to legislating." Lee fired off a lengthy X (formerly Twitter) post on Thursday, in which he thoroughly blistered both the bill—and Schumer and McConnell. He began by recounting a short conversation with a reporter. [Tweet] Lee was surprised by his own quick reaction to the reporter's question about whether he'd be ready to vote for the bill by Tuesday.

Sometimes, the best defense is a good offense. And sometimes, offense is just a desperate ploy. Fani Willis and Nathan Wade faced a deadline today to respond to the disqualification motion filed by RICO defendant Michael Roman that alleges a personal conflict of interest. According to CBS News, Willis and Wade will acknowledge a “personal relationship” started in 2022 after Willis hired Wade to prosecute Georgia v Donald Trump et al. As though President Biden hasn't taken enough actions to offer aid and comfort to America's enemies already, now he is reportedly to issue an executive order (EO) threatening Israeli citizens who have settled in the West Bank. President Joe Biden is expected to issue an executive order targeting Israeli settlers in the West Bank who have been attacking Palestinianns in the occupied territory, according to four people familiar with the matter. A senior administration official, who like the others was not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, said the White House was expected to announce the order later Thursday. The Biden administration is still trying to impose more restrictions on your right to keep and bear arms. Ever since President Joe Biden took office, he has sought to pass legislation that would make it harder for responsible Americans to obtain and carry firearms. However, the makeup of Congress made it impossible to pass his most ambitious restrictions. Advertisement Because of this, the White House has been forced to seek out new and inventive ways to violate the Second Amendment and has relied heavily on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

But he's also discovered something else with election time. He's discovered how important Ohio is and how he's losing in the polls to former President Donald Trump there,

First, there was the revelation of an alleged romantic relationship with the man she had appointed to be a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, in the election case against former President Donald Trump. That was followed by the records from Wade's estranged wife Jocelyn Wade that were filed in their divorce case showing that he allegedly bought trips to go on together with Willis.

Young voters are already frustrated that Joe Biden couldn’t deliver on an actual student loan bailout. Biden didn’t have the votes in Congress to pull off something of that scale, and doing so by executive decree was later deemed constitutionally questionable. He did so on a smaller scale because Joe, like crackhead Hunter, thinks the rules don’t apply to him. Still, it hasn’t masked the fact that young voters are souring on Joe; they think he’s too old, and now he’s enabling genocide in Gaza. You know there’s no genocide in Gaza. Still, the kiddos and the Muslim voters here think Treblinka 2.0 is unfolding before our very eyes,

Former U.N. Ambassador and South Carolina governor Nikki Haley's allegations that chaos follows former president Donald Trump wherever he goes are proving to be unfounded. Aside from the circus of indictments, if the poll numbers, endorsements, and wins in both the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire Primary are any indication, the Trump 2024 re-election machine appears to be well-oiled and chugging along smoothly. In particular, the endorsements have been almost lockstep, showing a unified Republican Party backing without reservation the person whom they assume will be the presumptive nominee. Something shocking — and telling — has unfolded beyond Donald Trump's onstage, online and courtroom theatrics:

She came in third in Iowa and second in New Hampshire after everyone else dropped out. If she loses South Carolina, people are going to call the race done even if she stays in since that's where one might expect her to do the best — in her home state. But right now, South Carolina is leaning heavily toward Trump.

The Associated Press declared Biden the winner at 7:23 p.m. based on an analysis of initial vote results showing him with a decisive lead in key locations throughout the state. At the time the race was called, Biden was leading statewide with about 97% of the vote, nearly double the 49% he received in the 2020 primary. Almost an hour after the race was called, Biden’s vote percentage remained largely unchanged at about 97%.
