Three judges from the Washington DC Circuit Court of Appeals have denied the immunity request from President Trump. In a rather stark decision reached by the panel [SEE Ruling Here] “We have balanced former President Trump’s asserted interests in executive immunity against the vital public interests that favor allowing this prosecution to proceed,” the court wrote in its ruling Tuesday. “We conclude that the interest in criminal accountability, held by both the public and the Executive Branch, outweighs the potential risks of chilling Presidential action and permitting vexatious litigation.”(image)(snip)The court essentially stayed its own ruling, pending a punt to the Supreme Court.

In order to qualify for an appointment to the DC Circuit Court of Appeals one has to have been a Political Hack for at least 5 years in a lower court. Methinks... Of the 65 who have served, Bork, Scalia, Thomas, and Kavanaugh somehow snuck through. All the rest are of the ilk of Merrick Garland, John Roberts and Ruth Ginsberg!

All of these people dancing on Trump's grave better remember that the ruling on Presidential Immunity also applies to other past/current presidents. Obama, Clinton, Bush, and Biden now have targets on them from the next politically motivated prosecutor. The three DC judges know their ruling was politically motivated as demonstrated by them staying their own ruling.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled on Feb. 6 that former President Donald Trump was not immune to prosecution for conduct that the Justice Department (DOJ) included in its indictment related to the events of Jan. 6, 2021. “We have balanced former President Trump’s asserted interests in executive immunity against the vital public interests that favor allowing this prosecution to proceed,” the decision reads. “We conclude that ‘[c]oncerns of public policy, especially as illuminated by our history and the structure of our government’ compel the rejection of his claim of immunity in this case,” the judges added, citing precedents.

The lying, scheming, and deception surrounding the Senate’s emergency appropriations bill should have barred it from consideration — especially by Republicans. Democrats’ sudden support for legislation masquerading as a solution to the raging U.S. border crisis after they ignored the record-breaking invasion for the last three years is even more utterly disqualifying. Republicans and Democrats alike pitched the Senate’s latest as a one-size-fits-all solution to the nation’s border woes. In a dramatic setback, House Republicans failed Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, forced to shelve a high-profile priority — for now — after a few GOP lawmakers refused to go along with the party’s plan. The stunning roll call fell just a few votes short of impeaching Mayorkas, stalling the Republicans’ drive to punish the Biden administration over its handling of the U.S-Mexico border. With Democrats united against the charges, the Republicans needed almost every vote from their slim majority to approve the articles of impeachment. The House is likely to revisit plans to impeach Mayorkas, but next steps are highly uncertain.
