Joe Biden and Kamala Harris reportedly have an “obsession” with the most dimwitted show on cable news. Suddenly, it all makes sense. If that’s where the White House is getting its cues from, no wonder we’ve been so terminally screwed.
Axios on Friday said the president is so enamored of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that it “affects how the White House runs — and who Biden listens to.” The report also said Biden “respects” the regular lineup of misfits on “Morning Joe” and he “loves when they applaud his actions.”For readers familiar with the weekday show, which is probably about three of you, recall that “Morning Joe” is co-hosted by Joe Scarborough,

In the ridiculous federal election interference case in D.C., President Trump’s attorneys argued to the DC Circuit appellate court that President Trump holds inherent constitutional immunity. In essence, because President Trump was acquitted by the Senate of claims he incited or instigated the January 6, 2021, events, lawyers arguing under the constitution that only impeached and removed presidents can be criminally prosecuted.(snip)In addition to the challenges within these core issues, the Lawfare approach by Jack Smith, Mary McCord and Andrew Weissmann, faces multiple additional hurdles. These are all issues that surface when Lawfare, the application of twisted legal theory intended to manipulate public opinion,

Apparently the Lawfare crew have been working and coaching overtime to give Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold a framework to explain to the Supreme Court how Colorado’s very specific election laws allow for presidential candidates to be disqualified despite meeting all constitutional requirements. State Solicitor General Sharon Stevenson would be the legal mind representing Jena Griswold. This should be an interesting attempt.
Griswold asked the Supreme Court for 15 minutes to explain how Colorado law supersedes the U.S. Constitution. In an order announced earlier today [pdf here], the court has granted Ms. Griswold 10 minutes to make her case. The oral arguments will take place on Thursday,

The trial date in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump was postponed, the federal judge overseeing the case confirmed on Friday.
“The court will set a new schedule if and when the mandate is returned,” U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan wrote in the order, handing a victory to the former president as he appeals the case on arguments that he was immune from prosecution.
More than 50 days have passed since Judge Chutkan paused the case amid the former president’s appeal to the D.C. Court of Appeals. Over the past several weeks, she has signaled that the initial March 4 trial date would not hold.

Tucker Carlson interviews Bret Weinstein who traveled to the Darien Gap to understand who’s behind the invasion of our country. His conclusion: “it’s not a friendly migration.” (snip)
Weinstein is perplexed, albeit with various theories about the origination and motives behind the mass invasion, however, if you have followed the issue closely since the first rendition during the Obama era in January 2011, the entire “crisis” is nothing more than one growing continuum of the fundamental change. {Go Deep on Timeline} Obama originated the UAC Central American migration. The additional arrivals are a confluence of natural opportunists facilitated by various leftist orgs and countries.

The only reason this story gained traction was because CCTV video was involved. With tens of millions of violent illegal aliens throughout the country, just imagine how much crime is occurring (snip)
In New York City, five illegal aliens acting as a pack of wild dogs were caught-on-camera attacking two NYPD cops in Times Square. They were tracked down and arrested. However, after appearing in court, they immediately received bail.(snip)Cops believe the group hopped on a bus bound for California on Wednesday after giving phony names to a church-affiliated nonprofit group that helps migrants get rides out of the city, according to law enforcement sources.

The Republican-led House Judiciary Committee sent a subpoena on Friday to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to obtain documents related to possible misuse of federal funds related to her case against former President Donald Trump and more than a dozen other co-defendants.
In a letter sent by House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), he noted that the committee in August 2023 had requested documents regarding the usage of federal funds. However, he said even after two letters were sent to her office last year, she has “failed to comply voluntarily with any of our requests.”

The verdict in former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial in Manhattan that could see him banned for life from doing business in New York has been delayed until mid-February, according to a court spokesperson.
Justice Arthur Engoron said during the trial’s closing arguments on Jan. 11 that he hoped to make his final decision by Jan. 31 in a much-anticipated verdict that could, in addition to hitting the former president with a lifetime business ban, see him fined $370 million.

Ten Republican senators in Oregon cannot run for reelection, the state’s top court ruled on Feb. 1.
The court found that the senators are banned from running for reelection under a constitutional amendment approved in 2022.
Measure 113, the amendment, states that lawmakers who miss at least 10 legislative days without an excuse cannot seek reelection. The ruling upheld a decision from Oregon Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade, a Democrat.
Ms. Griffin-Valade said in 2023 that the senators, under the measure, could not try for another term.
“My decision honors the voters’ intent by enforcing the measure the way it was commonly understood when Oregonians added it to our state constitution,”

This is kind of a funny and very real political story if you follow the mechanics of it. Essentially, it starts out with Politico noting the Ron DeSantis’ Super PAC Never Back Down, paid the Club for Growth Super PAC, Win It Back, $2.75 million dollars to run attack ads against Donald Trump. {Background Story}
Apparently, Ron DeSantis didn’t want to attack Trump directly, so using the Machiavellian tactics the professionally Republican group is known for, DeSantis funded a third-party to attack Trump on his behalf. A lot of people take issue with this discovery, but the story is actually deeper, and yes, even more Machiavellian.

Interesting move and office location in yet another election year. In 2022, Joe Biden appointed John Podesta as the “Clean Energy Czar,” essentially giving him control over doling out the $326 billion in Green New Deal, aka “Inflation Reduction Act,” money provided by Congress. At least that was the pretense of the purpose.
The actual agenda for Podesta, in 2022, appeared to be using the $316 billion GND money fund leftist support networks of the Biden administration in the midterm election cycle. Now we enter another election year, and Podesta is being given a new title to assume the role of John Kerry as Biden’s latest “Climate Diplomat”

French President Emmanuel Macron is reminding the European leaders of their responsibility to fund the multinational corporate war machine, especially if the United States doesn’t find a way to send $60 billion more in funding for the effort.
(Via Politico) – European countries must make bold and “innovative” decisions to help Ukraine even if the U.S. backs off from supporting Kyiv in the coming months, French President Emmanuel Macron said Tuesday.
[…] Europe must not delegate its security “to big powers, even if they are very good allies, because they live on the other side of the ocean,” he said.
