Harvard president Claudine Gay has been hit with 40 fresh allegations of plagiarism, with claims that she lifted 'entire paragraphs' in her academic writing.
The new allegations were first published in a shocking report from the Washington Free Beacon and span seven publications authored by Gay, ranging from missing quotation marks around a few phrases or sentences to entire paragraphs lifted verbatim.
It comes as the House Committee on Education and the Workforce announced that it's widening the scope of it' probe into Gay, according to a letter written by Rep. Virginia Foxx. The committee had already opened a probe into antisemitism at the Harvard campus following Gay's testimony

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that the Colorado Supreme Court decision disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot would be overturned by the Supreme Court.
Barr said, “As you know, I strongly oppose Donald Trump for the Republican nomination. I think this case is legally wrong and untenable. I think this kind of action of stretching the law and taking hyper-aggressive missions to knock Trump out of the race they are counterproductive. They backfire, as you know. He feeds on grievance just like a fire feeds on oxygen. This will end up as a grievance that helps him.”

Former President Donald Trump filed a brief with the Supreme Court Wednesday urging justices to delay a decision on whether he has “absolute immunity” for actions he took as president. He has been charged by Special Counsel Jack Smith with plotting to overturn the 2020 election. In his filing, Trump urged the Court to take a deliberate approach and not to acquiesce to the special counsel’s request to bypass a federal appeals court and rule on the immunity question on a quick schedule:
“This case presents a fundamental question at the heart of our democracy,” Pet. 2—whether a President may be criminally prosecuted

An alleged victim of deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein celebrated Wednesday after it was revealed that more than 170 people with ties to the accused sex trafficker will soon be exposed — calling the reveal an early Christmas gift.
Virginia Giuffre — who settled a $12 million lawsuit over allegations Epstein sex-trafficked her to Prince Andrew — appeared to taunt the dozens of associates and ex-employees whose names will be dredged up in a trove of court documents to be unsealed in the coming weeks.
“There’s going to be a lot of nervous ppl over Christmas and New Years, 170 to be exact, who’s on the naughty list?” Giuffre wrote on X.

Ex-president Donald Trump took to his TruthSocial platform to advertise his $99 digital trading cards that depict him in various heroic settings, just after Colorado judges barred him from running for the GOP primary in the Rocky Mountain state.
In the wake of the decision, Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung said that the campaign had already lodged an appeal to the decision with the US Supreme Court.
Trump first launched the cards in December last year. The first versions depicted him as a superhero. At the time of the launch, it was confirmed that the proceeds from the cards to not go towards his political campaigns.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams was slammed and ridiculed over his bizarre remarks about 9/11, a day that will live in infamy which he seemed to portray as just another part of the uniqueness of life in the Big Apple.
During a weekend interview with Pix 11 News anchor Dan Mannarino, Hizzoner was asked about how he would sum up a tumultuous year at the helm of the rapidly deteriorating metropolis in a single word, and his peculiar answer only handed more fuel to his critics who already want to burn him at the stake.

Workers at a recycling plant in Thailand got a nasty shock when they opened up a shipment of cardboard from the US to find a pair of human legs inside.
Thai police are now liaising with US authorities amid fears the owner may have been murdered before being hidden in the container and crated across the Pacific.
'It is possible the person was the victim of a murder,' said Lieutenant Colonel Dechanut Thayasirichuti of Sriracha police.'It did not happen in our country though.'
The grisly cargo was delivered on Tuesday to a plant just outside Sriracha, a town around 100 miles south of the capital Bangkok.
