In today's 'oh spare us' news, the left is having an absolute cow over Israeli troops flushing out Hamas terrorists from their snake holes and then forcing them to strip down to their underwear to prove to that yes, they were surrendering, and no, they didn't have a gun in their pants or a shiv in their shoes, or a strap-on bomb in their pocket, or a dynamite pack in some orifice, which is a pretty standard military safety precaution. Donald Trump is currently indicted on 91 obviously orchestrated felony counts, as well as other lawsuits in multiple venues around the U.S. There's the indictment about legally held documents at Mar-a-Lago, there's the one about "inciting" an insurrection, and there's the fraudulent civil lawsuit in New York on which the judge has already ruled the former president is guilty
The Associated Press (AP) on Sunday denounced the “shocking level of censorship” imposed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the COP28 climate change conference in Dubai. The AP was mortified by “sharp restrictions on what demonstrators could say, where they could walk and what their signs could portray.”
“At times, the controls bordered on the absurd,” the AP said, pointing to a rule that prevented demonstrators from waving signs with the names of detained activists, a 500-strong pro-Palestinian protest group that was prevented from leaving the U.N.’s “Blue Zone” in Dubai, and a ban on the genocidal Palestinian slogan “from the river to the sea.”
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Hamas’s Jabaliya and Shejaiya battalions in the northern Gaza Strip are “on the verge of being dismantled.”
“We have encircled the last strongholds of Hamas in Jabaliya and Shejaiya, the battalions that were considered invincible, that prepared for years to fight us, are on the verge of being dismantled,” Gallant says at a press conference.
He says hundreds of Hamas operatives have surrendered to Israeli troops in recent days, which he says “shows what is happening” to the terror group.

Kate Cox, 31, sought an abortion after her foetus was diagnosed with trisomy 18, a potentially fatal condition that doctors said threatened her fertility.
A lower court granted permission for an abortion, but the Texas Supreme Court put that decision on hold on Friday.
Texas has one of the strictest abortion bans in the country. Abortions in the state are prohibited from the point of conception except in rare cases where the life of the expectant mother is under threat.
A three-judge panel from the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit upheld district court injunctions on Friday against three New York gun controls, including one requiring concealed carry applicants to submit their social media accounts for review.
The panel–which decided 3-0 to uphold the injunctions in the consolidated cases–was comprised of George H. W. Bush appointee Dennis Jacobs, Bill Clinton appointee Gerard E. Lynch, and President Joe Biden appointed Eunice C. Lee.
The plaintiffs in the cases were Brett Christian; Firearms Policy Coalition, Inc.; and Michael Spencer and his Tabernacle Family Church.

A biological male who identifies as a “trans woman” shared a changing room with girls ages eight to 16 at a swimming event earlier this month, according to a report from the Toronto Sun.
Reportedly, the Swimming Canada-sanctioned event occurred in Barrie, Canada on Dec. 1. The male, Nicholas Cepeda, goes by “Melody Wiseheart” and is reportedly 50 years old. He’s been competing against women since 2019.
