BOMBSHELL: Report From First-Ever Audit
Shows How Much Power Disney Had in Central Florida

I’ve been a Disney fan my whole life. (snip) A newly released report (which I've embedded at the end of this column) of the first comprehensive audit of Disney and RCID shows the scope of Disney’s power and influence and how the company used RCID to benefit itself with little to no concern for the region as a whole. The report clocks in at a whopping 72 pages, along with a table of contents. I’ve read it all, and the following is my summary of Disney’s shocking power and how it used that level of control to line its pockets and avoid accountability.

In the end, the author says "I'll always love Disney...." What a sucker. Disney has turned into pure evil, and I despise all things associated with them and shun ALL their products.

Disney, Budweiser, the education system from Ivy League to kindergarten, our major cities, the NFL, the military, healthcare, race relations, the economy, our government - all have one thing in common. Democrats turn everything they touch into crap.

People who think will clearly see why Gov. Ron DeSantis removed Disney's the Reedy Creek special status when seeing this report. If it had been any other "big evil corporation" doing the same thing, Democrats would have been using them as the poster child of corporate greed and abuse. However, Disney is the liberal Democrat golden child who can do no wrong. The media and Democrats will use this report and twist the findings to show how DeSantis has devastated and violated Disney's ability to freely operate in Florida. They will use it as a warning to other businesses and voters about DeSantis and Republican Fascist, Nazi like tactics. They will ignore what Disney has done with their "special powers" and used it to financially benefit the corporation and their executives.

My thirty-year-old neighbor is off on her third or fourth Disney World trip in the last year. She was all excited about seeing the REAL Mickey Mouse, not the blow up one dressed as Santa Claus in her front yard. I didn't have the heart to tell her Mickey Mouse isn't real.

The key to understanding this is that the Reedy Creek Improvement District was a *government* entity. The audit demonstrates the corporate corruption. It's so corrupt it potentially damages public service employees of the district. For example, the district's men and women of it's Fire Department who accepted these very expensive perks. There is a legal way to handle such alternate means of annual income for the government employees, but did the government (not Disney) utilize such payroll mechanisms?

Too bad for Disney, “The Dirty Dozen” was already taken, so the company settled on “The Naughty Nine” and got to work—but “The Naughty Nine” isn’t a movie with themes of hardened masculinity, sacrifice, courage, redemption, and killing German Nazis, it’s the latest “Christmas” feature depicting a group of children on a heist job at the North Pole… with queer “dads” and a prepubescent gay boy using the term “hottie” to describe his crush. Disney took advantage of a special tax district to effectively govern itself by hand-picking board members who received exclusive benefits and perks from the company, a new financial audit shows. Disney showered board members and employees of the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) with perks and benefits over the district’s lifespan, according to a financial audit carried out by the new governing body installed by Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in spring 2023. “What is now evident is that Disney not just controlled the Reedy Creek Improvement District, but did so by effectively purchasing loyalty,” read a new report on the RCID’s past practices
