When I suggest that it’s time to pull the fire alarm, I’m not talking about Representative Bowman, who actually and knowingly committed a crime when he pulled a fire alarm in the Capital to stall a vote of the US Congress (a crime for which he received a minimal consequence, unlike the J6 defendants). Instead, I’m talking about significant problems in America that require immediate (and possible) remediation.
The US is in a leadership freefall, and we’ll be in a political ice age when that fall breaks. The world is picking sides and making bets on who will survive the most significant power struggle since the end of World War II.

Kamala Harris is realistic about the prospects that she and President Joe Biden will need to 'earn' the nomination and their reelection campaign for 2024.
It comes amid new polling that shows Biden's approval has dropped to a new all-time-low of 40 percent and former President Donald Trump beating the incumbent by 2 percent.
The vice president flew to South Carolina on November 10 to file for her and Biden to appear on the state's Democratic primary election ballot as the President continues to brush-off concerns about his dismal polling.

TEL AVIV, Israel — Antisemitism on university campuses in the U.S. began with hatred of America, not specifically with the hatred of Israel.
That’s the view of Tel Aviv University vice-rector Eyal Zisser, who is also an expert on the Middle East.
“It’s not sudden,” Zisser told Breitbart News on Sunday, reflecting on the explosion of radical anti-Israel sentiment, and even outright antisemitism, at American universities.
He also says that the problem is more prevalent in the social sciences and the humanities, which are in decline globally: the natural sciences have less time for politics, and are therefore less radical.

Democrats are now beginning to deal with the fallout of House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) decision to release all the video footage related to the January 6, 2021, riot at the United States Capitol building. While folks on the right lauded the move as a bold step toward transparency, Democrats are crying foul and already trying to salvage their narrative that the event was some huge plan to take over the United States government. During an appearance on CNN, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), one of the more prominent House Democrats who spearheaded the Select Committee to use the riot as a political cudgel against former President Donald Trump

The federal government failed to notice an unlicensed bio lab in Reedley, California, which stored many communicable diseases and was created by a fugitive Chinese citizen with close ties to China’s government, according to a congressional report.
The report by the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party also said that President Joe Biden’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention spent at least two months ignoring pleas by local officials to examine and contain the disease storehouse. The storehouse contained canisters of deadly viruses and diseases, including Malaria, HIV, tuberculosis, China’s coronavirus, and perhaps, Ebola.

A group of migrants have been forced to move into Boston's Logan Airport as the 'sanctuary city' has run out of beds for them to sleep in.
The party of up to 20 people, which includes babies, was seen sleeping underneath blankets on benches on Friday.
They arrived in Boston as the Massachusetts shelter cap reached its maximum and there is deadlock over how best to spend $250million for emergency shelters. Those migrants have been put on a waiting list after the state's system for emergency accommodation hit a cap of 7,500 families last week.

The Supreme Court is hearing a handful of cases this term with significant implications for free speech, particularly on social media.
One of the major themes emerging for the 2023-2024 term, alongside challenges to the administrative state, is the justices’ interest in clarifying First Amendment law as it applies to social media and questions of government action. The high court’s docket now includes multiple First Amendment cases, including one landmark case brought by the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana

Fontainbleu, France– One of the signature broad, black bicorne hats that Napoleon Bonaparte wore when he ruled 19th-century France and waged war in Europe is expected to fetch upwards of 600,000 euros ($650,000) at an auction Sunday.
Other history-laden items in the sale of industrialist Jean-Louis Noisiez’s collection of Napoleonic memorabilia include a silver plate looted from Napoleon’s carriage after his defeat at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. It also includes a wooden vanity case he owned, with razors, a silver toothbrush, scissors and other personal belongings.
The faded black felt hat is the star piece, valued at between 600,000 and 800,000 euros ($650,000 to $870,000).

The Democrat strategist who helped mastermind Barack Obama's 2008 White House victory has offered a damning indictment of Joe Biden's chances next year.
David Axelrod shared his analysis on the poll, published on November 5 by The New York Times and Siena College, which showed the president, 80, behind Trump in five of six key battleground states.
He claimed the data 'will send tremors of doubt thru the [Democratic] Party' and added that Biden needs to decide whether running in the 2024 presidential race is in his or the country's best interests.

SACRAMENTO, California—Reps. Katie Porter and Adam Schiff (D-CA) were interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters during their pitches to California Democrats at the state party's endorsing convention.
"Ceasefire now!" the demonstrators repeatedly shouted Saturday in Sacramento, California during Porter and Schiff's closing statements for the convention's candidate forum."I respect your opinions and I have heard you," Porter said, whose protest was more protracted than that of Schiff. "I'm going to ask you to allow me to please finish my remarks."

Anti-Israel activists broke into the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa on Friday to drape the Palestinian flag from the 14th-century structure amid student-led protests throughout Italy on Friday.
The Tower of Pisa, a Unesco World Heritage site in Central Italy, was used by anti-Israel agitators to push their political agenda against the Jewish state. According to the ANSA news agency, approximately 15 activists broke off from a larger procession in the city, throwing bottles and other objects at police as they left the approved route of the protest.

Far-left Judge Arthur Engoron denied Trump’s bid for a mistrial in the NYC fraud case.
President Trump’s lawyers went on offense on Wednesday and asked a judge to grant a mistrial in the civil fraud case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Trump’s lawyers argued that the fraud case was tainted by bias.
Radical Marxist New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking $250 million in ‘damages’ when there is no victim in this fraud case and she is also seeking to ban Trump and his sons from operating any businesses in New York.
