“Bidenomics” is working… if the goal is communism. Yesterday, the San Antonio Express-News reported that the city would be holding its first gun buyback program this upcoming Sunday, and for every firearm sold to the state, a gun owner will receive a grocery store gift card—city councilman John Courage, a backer of the initiative, said this: We can ask people to turn in weapons they no longer want, that they feel are a danger in their household, that maybe they’ve found, and exchange those for gift certificates so that people can go buy food for the holiday or go buy Christmas presents for their kids[.]

No real American would surrender a working gun to the government for gift cards. There is just something so "compliant" about it. Its probably the same people who give the cops permission to search their cars without probable cause or warrant.

Any guns of value will be "recycled" by those in charge of the program. Anyway, a gun is just a gun...until it's used as a weapon. Same with a club...or a baseball bat.....or a fist!

Does the city of San Antonio check to see if the guns they buy are reported stolen? Or is this a no questions asked gun buyback program? If so, the city is an accessory to felonies. Gun buybacks don’t stop crime. These programs have one purpose —- to make some liberal local politicians feel good about themselves.

Judge finds Voting Rights Act violation

North Dakota’s 2021 legislative redistricting plan violates the rights of two Native American tribes because it dilutes their voting strength, a federal judge ruled Friday. U.S. District Chief Judge Peter Welte said the redrawn legislative districts violated the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The ruling came months after a trial held in June in Fargo. In his ruling, Welte said the plan approved by the state Legislature to redraw voting districts in accordance with the latest census data “prevents Native American voters from having an equal opportunity to elect candidates of their choice” - a violation of the landmark civil rights law.

Senate Democrats blocked a stand-alone Israel aid package led by Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., Tuesday after a lengthy debate on the chamber floor. Marshall sought unanimous consent for the House's version of the package, which passed the lower chamber with bipartisan support Nov. 2 and would earmark $14.3 billion reallocated from funds meant for the IRS in President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. Senators Marshall, Ted Cruz, JD Vance and Mike Lee introduced the Senate version last month. But Democrats shot down the effort because the package does not include aid to Ukraine. A handful of Republican senators argued the two emergency aid packages should be split up and voted on separately.

To hear the press tell it, the public has flipped, shifted, moved squarely into the Joe Biden camp, and abortion is the driving force. That the Virginia statehouse flipped blue in the last off-year midterms proved it, right? Big Democrat triumph, big public swing to the Dems, right? Maybe not so fast. Turns out one of the 'winners' in the Virginia state Senate race doesn't actually seem to live in her district. According to The Daily Wire: Virginia Democrats last week took control of the state House and retained control of the state Senate by one seat — but a winning senator may have lied about residing in the district,

We respect the jury’s verdict and remain steadfastly committed to our mission to uphold the rule of law, keep our country safe, protect the civil rights of all Americans, and safeguard public property," U.S. Attorney Erek L. Sadly, the Biden administration has yet to come out and publicly acknowledge Iran's role in Hamas's October 7 invasion of Israel, in which the terrorist group murdered over 1,400 Israelis and at least 31 Americans, and wounded over 4,500 Israelis. Hamas also abducted more than 240 people and took them back to Gaza, where they are being held as hostages. Iran provides roughly $100 million a year to Palestinian terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and $700 million a year to Hezbollah. Iran and its proxies have clearly been waging a war against Israel, Jews and the United States.

U.S. energy experts are warning of the economic and national security implications of President Biden's pact with China this week to move towards shutting down fossil fuel production in favor of green energy. The State Department announced this week it had struck a deal with its Chinese counterparts pledging to "accelerate the substitution for coal, oil and gas generation" with green energy sources like wind and solar power. The nations, which account for nearly half of global greenhouse gas emissions, also agreed to "deepen policy exchanges" on reducing carbon emissions in various sectors, like power, industry, buildings and transportation, across their economies.

But despair is not a plan. It is past time to impose order on anxiety.” The article does not suggest any plan to “impose order” on American democracy. In prior decades, establishment groups often offered concessions — mostly insincere — to millions of ordinary U.S. voters.

Nothing's as expensive as cheap imported labor, and New Yorkers are about to find that out the hard way. According to the New York Post: The NYPD’s force will be reduced to just 29,000 cops by the end of fiscal year 2025 — the lowest level since the mid-90s — amid a slew of city-wide budget cuts revealed by Mayor Eric Adams Thursday as the Big Apple grapples with its multi-billion-dollar migrant crisis. Under City Hall’s newly unveiled updated 2024 financial plan, the next five police academy classes will be axed — essentially decimating an already strained department as roughly 4,500 officers are expected to leave their ranks within the next 18 months.

The Biden administration keeps talking about the urgent need for Israel to have a post-war plan for Gaza. What that really means is that it wants the PLO to take over Gaza. Netanyahu has opposed that for now. The Palestinian Authority is run by Fatah, the body behind the PLO, and is just another Islamic terrorist group. And parts of it claimed to have taken part in the Oct 7 massacres. But none of that is stopping the Biden administration from its obsession. The thinking is that if the Palestinian Authority takes over Gaza, it can force negotiations on a Two-State Solution and finally bring peace by empowering terrorists.
