Thirty-one Harvard student organizations condemned Israel following the inhuman attack by Hamas Islamic savages.
It took her a few days, but Harvard president Claudine Gay condemned unequivocally the “terrorist atrocities perpetrated by Hamas.” She added in her statement that Harvard “students have the right to speak for themselves.”
While it is good to know that the president of Harvard has moral clarity, it is regrettable that she does not require it of her institution. Gay states the obvious -- that students have a right to speak for themselves. But that’s not the issue. Of course, Harvard students have the same free speech rights as anyone else in America.

I don't care how illustrious there so called professors are presented as being but as far as I'm concerned they should be listed around number 20. They've got a pile of Legacies and a lot of people who just talk the talk.
Whatever happenedto Ve RI Tas?

I talk to employers complaining that the work ethic of the current generation of college graduates is shot...they collectively expect get paid full wages for working only ten hours per week, from home.
It would seem they want to spend the other 30 hours sympathizing with Hamas, BLM, LGBTQ+, or some other bogus and fraudulent political cause.

That Harvard is an over-priced fraud and a centerfold for the bold nakedness of leftist ideology is unequivocal. But that isn't the point. If only speech we agree with is permitted then speech isn't really free at all. Harvard's administration however slow condemned Hamas' atrocities. It shouldn't be expected to police the speech of the children who attend other than to publicly disagree - which it did.

Yes and it began decades ago. Any institution of higher learning who thought it was proper to raise the bar for over-achieving students and lower the bar for under-achieving students has missed the point of education completely in the name of the lunacy of "equity." Charging top dollar for a substandard education also is an insult to the many students who graduated years ago from a prestigious institution and went on to become the heart of big business in America. Shame on Harvard, you have failed.

Harvard is a fraud. Harvard also refuses to support our military, or allow them on campus. My opinion of Harvard couldn't get any lower, and Harvard has a lot of company. People need to rethink who they leave their estates to.

From the article: "She added in her statement that Harvard “students have the right to speak for themselves.”
I am putting a "but" on that one. Realistically, students have the right to speak for themselves only when it meets the criteria of Harvard. . .

A year at Harvard costs about $75,000 when you add up tuition, room and board, books, and other fees. Hand painted signs supporting radical and dangerous terrorists not included.

Harvard has always been a "fraud" and only has gained its "reputation" by those who attended and then went on to improve themselves in the world,
automatic elevation to some highest civil standard was not or never was immediately granted to any person just because they "attended" Harvard
this is still the Untied States of America where you must "earn" your status ... nothing is granted because of your pedigree or some other such vaporous acclimation of status

Harvard is an advanced indoctrination center for socialism, communism and hatred for the United States, one the many in our country claiming to be a "university." You have a degree from Harvard? That's a pretty expensive attendance certificate.

The ENTIRE Ivy League (along with most other universities) and the people who populate them, are forward operating bases for the totalitarian forces arrayed against freedom all over the world. Harvard, in particular, is the open mouth of hell. They should be shuttered and the staff and alumni shunned by normal people.
Damn them all!

Every “Ivy League” university is a hotbed of antisemitism, Marxism, and Socialism. Most state universities are too. They should all be cut off from every source of government funding. Their graduates should all be blacklisted in the job market.

Is this a trick question? It's been obvious for a long time that Harvard is largely a Communist, anti-American indoctrination center.

Harvard has been a fraud for years. Now their ugly face is coming out in the open. I worked with a few PhDs from Harvard and none, NONE of them could have an original thought or talk in a way that didn't sound like a school paper. Sad.

It's been a fraud from its inception. It started out as a school founded by Baptist preachers but it distanced itself from God pretty quickly

Besides a reputation and a ginormous endowment, what has Harvard actually done or produced in the past 30 years that make it a such a high tier college that anybody should care about? All they have done is produced is a bunch of loud mouthed liberals who people only listen to because they went to Harvard. They are not better or smarter than most other people who went elsewhere. They just have that Harvard aura and mystique that, lately, is undeserved. I'll take a hard working state college grad over a pompous, entitled Harvard grad any day.
