Elon Musk on Sunday flagged a post from Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that celebrated the attacks by Hamas on Israel and said Khamenei’s statement made clear that Iran’s goal is eradicating Israel. “Khamenei’s official position is clear that the eradication of Israel is the actual goal, not just supporting Palestinians,” Musk wrote in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter That will not happen,” Musk continued. “All that actually happens, decade after decade, is a never-ending cycle of violence and vengeance. Stoking the fires of hatred isn’t working. Perhaps it is time to consider something else.”

“Khamenei’s official position is clear that the eradication of Israel is the actual goal, not just supporting Palestinians" Musk should have left it at that. The rest of his statement is naive.

How many years before we poor, stupid people figure out that X is the platform formerly known as Twitter, and every article that references X, the platform formerly known as Twitter can quit reminding us. Or do 'journalists' get paid by the word?

Regardless of whether Iran plotted and ordered the massive Hamas attack against Israel over the weekend, Tehran’s backing and support for the Palestinian militant group sends a clear and defiant message to Washington. The U.S. has yet to confirm a direct involvement from Tehran in the operation, but officials acknowledge Iranians are indirectly complicit in training, funding and supporting Hamas. The Hamas invasion, the worst attack on Israel in 50 years, shows Tehran is increasingly willing to damage U.S. allies and, in effect, try to weaken American influence through proxy groups. It comes as Iran’s influence as a regional power appears on the rise.

Within hours of the stunning attack by Hamas militants in Israel, U.S. lawmakers were quick to promise more aid to America’s closest ally in the Middle East. Yet those pledges come at a time of deep political dysfunction in Washington, raising questions over how quickly the money can start flowing. Despite pronouncements of support on both sides of the aisle, there will likely be no fast or easy response until the chaos surrounding the House’s empty speakership is settled. Both candidates for the gavel backed more support for Israel on Saturday, yet the House is still several days away from electing a leader,

Ray McGovern and I get a chance Friday to discuss some of the latest insane comments by Hillary Clinton. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar have released official statements concerning the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian factions, including Hamas. Both nations have expressed deep concern over the escalation of violence and have called for immediate de-escalation and the protection of civilians. Interestingly, both statements hold Israel responsible for the current situation, albeit with nuanced differences in their approaches. Qatar’s Statement: A Direct Accusation Against Israel The State of Qatar’s statement is more direct in its accusation against Israel. It holds Israel “solely responsible for the ongoing escalation” due to its “ongoing violations of the rights of the Palestinian people.

An apparent paperwork oversight could jeopardize the case against one of former President Donald Trump’s co-defendants in the Georgia election interference case, although one former state prosecutor said the issue would “at worst” likely be considered merely “embarrassing” by the presiding judge. An attorney for Kenneth Chesebro argued in a court filing Wednesday that Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade was never qualified under state law to present the case to the Fulton County grand jury in the first place. The motion to dismiss the charges against Chesebro says that makes Wade’s work on the case, including the indictment against Chesebro, “void as a matter of law.”

America faces a crisis that we acknowledge yet shamelessly exacerbate for political expediency. Our leaders sit on their hands, under the impression that the consequences will patiently wait for their willingness to address them. Meanwhile, our cities and quiet suburbs are oblivious to a grim reality gathering overhead. This crisis is our national debt, standing at a colossal $33 trillion. That's the equivalent to the economies of China, Japan, Germany, India, and the United Kingdom, combined. This figure provides useful context, yet the true challenge lies in the annual amount required to repay that debt.

Former President Donald Trump revealed Thursday that he would accept a short-term role as speaker of the House “if necessary” to unite the Republican Party. Trump, 77, told Fox News Digital that if Republicans struggle to reach a consensus on a replacement for Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), he’d be willing to fill the role for a “30, 60, or 90-day period.” “I have been asked to speak as a unifier because I have so many friends in Congress,” the former president said. “If they don’t get the vote,

It’s all bad news for the GOP—why not pour more gasoline on this bonfire? Trump has already been indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith, constituting the most robust case against the former president. The Stormy Daniels and January 6 indictments are fallacious, as is New York’s civil case against him on fraud.

Nadine Menendez, wife of embattled U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, was involved in a fatal car crash in 2018 prior to marrying the New Jersey Democrat. According to police reports, Menendez struck and killed 49-year-old Richard Koop with her Mercedes-Benz. The victim had allegedly been jaywalking. But new questions are being raised following a New York Times report on the incident, which resulted in no charges and was not picked up by media at the time. The revelations are especially important as they help explain one of the bribes alleged in the federal indictment against her and Sen. Menendez.

For much of the world, China’s Xinjiang region is notorious, a place where ethnic Uyghurs face forced labor and arbitrary detention. But a group of visiting foreign journalists was left with a decidedly different impression. On a tour in late September sponsored by Beijing, the 22 journalists from 17 countries visited bazaars and chatted with residents over dates and watermelon slices. They later told state media they were impressed with the bustling economy, described the region as “full of cultural, religious and ethnic diversity,” and denounced what they said were lies by Western media.

Harvard students who blamed Israel for the massacre of its citizens by Hamas had their own future thrown into doubt last night as a host of blue chip CEOs declared them unemployable. The elite university faced a massive backlash after 31 of its student societies issued a joint statement ‘holding the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence’. The Anti-Defamation League denounced the statement as ‘anti-Semitic’ and others accused the university of tolerating hate speech. But Wall Street appears even less forgiving with billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman revealing that his fellow bosses want to know who they are so ‘none of us inadvertently hire any of their members’.
