What the Left Did to Our Country

Original Article

Posted By: Moritz55, 9/4/2023 8:10:44 AM

In the last 20 years, the Left has boasted that it has gained control of most of America institutions of power and influence—the corporate boardroom, media, Silicon Valley, Wall Street, the administrative state, academia, foundations, social media, entertainment, professional sports, and Hollywood. With such support, between 2009-17, Barack Obama was empowered to transform the Democratic Party from its middle-class roots and class concerns into the party of the bicoastal rich and subsidized poor—obsessions with big money, race, a new intolerant green religion, and dividing the country into a binary of oppressors and oppressed.

No doubt ,Obama was the worst president this country ever had, and he still is ,now that he is in his third term using Biden as his puppet. Soon the power in the democrat party will dump Biden and Harris and place Michelle Obama in their place and Obama will be running for his 4th term.

We allowed The Left to control our press. We allowed The Left to control our religious institutions. We let this happen when we were too busy to vote or attend a school meeting. We let this happen when we failed to adhere to God and not man in our churches. We let this happen when stock prices mattered more than people. We let this happen...

What the Left has done is violently derail our great nation, and an overview with perspective of the process of that train wreck is necessary for hysterical porpoises. I couldn't make it all the way through this, though, because I really don't feel like reliving that wreck while we're still going through it.

Again, VDH mentions many of the low points of the “liberal” doctrine. Long gone are the attenuated but truthful opinions that once made National Review worthwhile. Sadly, his insights are not recommended reading for all. But happily, are published on Lucianne. We can thank our lucky stars for that.

This U.S. was known as a Christian nation, not because everyone was a Christian, but because the vast majority of its citizens embraced Christian values. Once the majority figured out they didn't have to follow those values and could pursue their own lusts, addictions, greed, etc., it was only a matter of time before our fall. But what the majority and the elites forget, is that every life has an end, even them, 100%, and after that, the judgment. God is still on His throne, and every one of these corrupt godless people will have to answer to God, for their corrupt lives. If you don't think God is real or He cares about mankind, or about our future, then explain how Israel is a nation again, after over 1900 years of being scattered throughout the world with no country or home. Then miraculously, become a nation again, the take possession of Jerusalem; at about the same time this nation begins is departure from God and His values. Coincidence? Nope! No other nation has done that. But they did because God made sure they didn't lose their identity so they could. Their return was not an accident or by chance, God promised He would restore them, through His prophets, long before they were destroyed in AD70 by the Roman Empire. All those who think they are winning, by stealing power and wealth from the middle, the working class and from this once great nation will face God with corrupt and sinful lives. Ask then 10,000 year from now if it was worth it, and that will be just the start of their eternal destruction. I nor anyone should take pleasure in their destruction, but what we can take pleasure in, is that truth, righteousness and justice prevail in the end.

FTA: “ The people are not. And they are starting to wake to the notion if they do not stop the madness in their midst they very soon won’t have a country.” Once again, Dr. Hanson, I beg you to answer the question, how. Do you have the courage to support President Trump who appears to be the only guy with the will, determination and love for the country to put his entire life on the line, or is his speech to vulgar for you? We have one chance to get this right and we cannot afford to choose someone the people do not trust. All it would take if for Republicans and right minded people to band together to put their collective foot down and say, enough. You are a great man of influence. Can you openly support President Trump or will you succumb to pressure from the intelligentsia?

The European Commission praised Ukraine’s Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin for his efforts to fight corruption in a December 2015 progress report published nine days after then-VP Joe Biden demanded his ouster. The report flies in the face of Biden’s claims that the European Union joined his demands that Shokin be removed for being corrupt and obstructing anti-corruption reforms. In fact, the Dec. 18, 2015, progress report, obtained by the New York Post, says that the European Union was satisfied that Ukraine had achieved “noteworthy” progress, including in “preventing and fighting corruption,” and thus was eligible for visa-free travel in Europe.

They are sometimes innocent or essential like the code name that the Secret Service gives you as part of your protection like "Celtic." Then there are nicknames that are preferred to your given name. Take "The Big Lebowski." He did not like being called Mr. Lebowski and preferred "Dude" but he was flexible: "I’m The Dude. So, that’s what you call me. When Congress returns next month, it has little alternative but to launch a long-discussed impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. For House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the case for an inquiry came from a most unlikely source: Attorney General Merrick Garland. The debacle in the Hunter Biden investigation has left most objective legal analysts in disbelief, with one CNN analyst calling it an "unholy mess." Even before the collapse of a widely condemned "sweetheart deal" with Hunter, the investigation headed by U.S. Attorney David Weiss was a growing concern for many observers.

Joe Biden in one of his now accustomed angry “get off my grass” moods dared the press to find just one of his policies/objectives that has not worked. Silence followed. Perhaps it was polite to say nothing, given even the media knows almost every enacted Biden policy has failed. Here is a summation of what he should instead apologize for. Biden in late summer 2021 sought a 20th anniversary celebration of 9/11 and the 2001 subsequent invasion of Afghanistan. He wished to be the landmark president that yanked everyone out of Afghanistan after 20 years in country. But the result was the greatest military humiliation of the United States since

The popularity of urban legends is a testament to the will to believe. The desire of people to keep Elvis alive or prove that a Sasquatch could exist furtively in our backyards shows the resilience of fables. Constitutional urban legends often have an even more immediate appeal and tend to arise out of the desperation of divided times. One of the most popular today is that former President Donald Trump can be barred from office, even if he is not convicted in any of the four indictments he faces, under a long-dormant clause of the 14th Amendment.

The advent of a new presidential campaign season brings with it the usual political- and media-class sentiment: no one wants to go back (to whatever one thinks there is to go back to), everyone wants to move forward. The conceit of progress that has gripped the American psyche for well over a century always demands the next click in the ratchet. It is the sort of perennial existential discontent, questing for the next thing, that is superb for, say, settling a frontier. It is much less salutary when the "next thing" is a new frontier in state power or societal overthrow.

What the media inaccurately call the “migrant crisis” (these are people who have unlawfully crossed the U.S. border, not migrants) is battering so-called sanctuary cities, such as New York and Los Angeles. Imagine how people in Texas and Arizona border cities—such as El Paso, Yuma, and Eagle Pass—feel. Texas sent a 12th bus full of illegal immigrants to Los Angeles on Monday.
