Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee made a dramatic claim that if former President Donald Trump is kept off the ballot, or loses the 2024 election, due to his legal woes it will be the last U.S. election 'decided by ballots rather than bullets.'
Huckabee, a longtime ally of the former president, made the comment on his Trinity Broadcasting Network show Wednesday evening.
He asked his audience if they knew how those in power in 'third world dictatorships, banana republics and communist regimes' dealt with their political opponents.

The claim is accurate and not wild. The Daily Mail wants to put their spin on it, rather than have the reader decide, or have the voters decide.

Not a “wild” claim at all. Any one who is paying attention can see that we are losing our freedoms a little more each day. We are constantly lied to. We are told on a daily basis that we didn’t see what we saw and didn’t hear what we heard. And no one seems to want to take on these liars. The DOJ is completely covering for the Bidens. The FBI is corrupt and sends SWAT teams to shoot or arrest 70 year old men and those who pray in public. I feel like the country is out of control and we, the people, no longer have a say unless we’re a far lefty.

Wild? Not hardly. My fear is that they have the year wrong. 2016 May have been the last election decided by ballots.

I think Mr. Huckabee is seeing the big picture quite vividly. It’s a picture millions of locked and loaded citizens are seeing as well. So, don’t say you weren’t aware.

On another site I saw a video of the FIB arresting the last J6 guy. A couple of guys were there taking pictures and they wouldn't let the picture takers get up close. I guess FIB was trying to push the picture takers back but they weren't having any of the FIB putting their hands on them. It is getting that bad. I think Gov. Huckabee might be right if it even waits that long. People are pretty riled up.

It's actually very simple. Do you support Washington and its policies or not? If you do, vote for the Washingtonian of your choice. None of them are any different. If you do not support Washington, there is only one candidate, and his name is Trump. Ignore the propaganda. Ignore all the lies and BS. Ignore all the Democrat vs Republican rhetoric or the liberal vs conservative rhetoric. Most of it is just for show. Most of what Washington does is just for show. On important issues, Washington is all on the same page.

He may well be right.
Unless the government wishes up and institutes in-person, paper ballots, with some method to confirm one voter/one ballot, I would be happy to fight and die to insure my descendants controlled their own government.
I don't think we've had real freedom for over a century. If it takes a revolution to change that, so be it!

Lots of people I know have predicted violence if the next election is a stolen-repeat of 2020. It is no secret that government departments not known for enforcing laws have begun to stockpile small arms in astonishing amounts, the IRS for example. The Deep State does not want to be ousted from government control, hence thousands of 'assault' rifles and millions of rounds of ammunition have gone to agencies not known to need them in the past.

Trump meets the Const. requirements for election, and has not been shown in a court of law to have tripped over a disqualifier. The court of public opinion, not sham prosecutions and persecutions, should decide this. The several attempts to keep Trump of the ballot are simply political stunts…some of these rabid partisans do not have standing, some are at personal risk from the Bar for presenting their beliefs as facts (unethical).

That is not a dramatic claim; either elections from that point forward will just be a formality and the people will take a knee surrendering themselves slavery or there will be a civil war as lethal force will be the only way to stop it.

Mike, I don't think your prediction is a stretch. God help us all if it comes true. We prefer a life of peace and happiness in a society that believes "In God We Trust". However, my wife and I know well how to shoot straight and live in an area where belief in the United States of America, as founded, is the prevailing thought. Dimwit Aspen Adams who thinks he can oppose our House Rep.Lauren Boebert, stuff it, you uber-adulterous lefty.

Oh yeh like it’s not really weird for DC, Georgia & NY to spend millions of taxpayers $$$ to file numerous indictments against a person they say lost the 2020 election?? This is 2023 & they’re still fighting 2020 results!!

So I had Maria Bartiromo's morning show this am as background noise. Maria is out and Cheryl Casone was filling in (and she's mediocre at best) and they were talking about John Fetterman threatening the Republicans to impeach Biden. So the panel than discussed how the American people are tired of impeachments (thank you Nancy Pelosi who never even bothered with an inquiry) and the Republicans really face a challenge if they impeach Biden because the American people will see it as political. Yup - the Dems screw everything up in this country and the Republicans sit on the sidelines holding their hands in their laps.

I agree with Mr. Huckabee. To take a quote from the movie Network, "I am as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!" I used to believe in fair elections and the rule of law but I'm afraid that's a thing of the past in certain parts of the country. Remember, the only thing that separates us from the banana republics and socialist regimes of the world is our right to keep and bear arms.

I don't know where the breaking point is, but some people can only be pushed so far.
When you take everything away from an individual, that individual has nothing to lose.
