Former President Donald Trump on Thursday criticized the 'fearmongering' over a new COVID strain and claimed 'left wing lunatics' are trying to bring back lockdowns and mask mandates to steal the 2024 election.
In a video posted to social media, the GOP presidential candidate - who likely lost the last election over his handling of COVID - commented on the recent spike in cases.
A highly contagious new variant of COVID, the highly mutated BA.2.86, is spreading globally and as of Thursday was found in five U.S. states.

I would like to see Trump take it a step further and sound the alarm on covid vaccine dangers. He's been reluctant to address this after previously taking credit for "warp speed" development of these vaccines.

Biden would have to declare an emergency so the pharms couldn’t be sued because of the deadly and dangerous side effects of the shots. This may take the Republicans to grow a spine. Pretty sure that’s why all the illegals could invade us from the southern border with no testing and no shots. All this while Americans were losing jobs for not getting the shot.

The anti-Trumpers must not have much to do tonight so joined us here on Lucianne. That's okay, we understand. Read around, you might learn something.

I don't think there are any anti-Trumpers on this board, # 3, in the sense that the term is usually used. The argument here is about how best to go about saving our republic.

I'm afraid ("...well, not actually afraid.,." as Kimball from Green Acres would say) they are gearing up for round 2. Lord please watch over us and direct us this time.
A coworker recently returned, full N95 mask on, from a week off with a "mild" case of COVID. Had to listen to him recount the story at least half a dozen times. Took Paxlovid (repackaged Ivermectin - try finding that fact except in 2 year old Lucianne archives) and is aware of the potential rebound effect. Also claims he is eager for the newest "vaccine". I'm thinking, "Man, go ahead and pump all that stuff in if it makes you feel good." It will be enlightening to see how this plays out.

Once again, he's exactly right.
This virus has mutated to be no big deal, and it was ALWAYS not anything close to the big deal that it was claimed to be. Deaths were massively exaggerated, and mostly occurred in the very elderly with many other illnesses, although a few younger people did succumb with the non-treatment that deadly Dr. Fraud forced on most of the nation.
Give it up, its OVER, and will stay over.

Well, #6, one of my coworker's pontifications stated his wife had read an article claiming COVID is currently the 3rd leading cause of death in the USA. How can you have a rational conversation at that point?

To add, just did a search on leading causes of death, and what comes up is 3 pages of CDC, NIH, and WHO statistics. In short, they would claim COVID is the leading cause of death if they thought they could get away with it.
