The Walt Disney Company has reportedly tapped former Biden advisor Remi Yamamoto to handle "issues-oriented messaging" for their television division.
Variety reported on Thursday that Biden's former national press secretary will be the vice president of media relations for Disney’s television division. (snip) Yamamoto served as the White House senior advisor for communications to the chief of staff and special assistant to the president during the early days of the Biden administration, having served before that as the traveling national press secretary for the 2020 presidential campaign. She has also worked for other notable Democratic organizations like Hillary for America and Obama for America.

Let’s see … the Woke agenda has ruined Disney. Its stock is basically worthless and it is having to sell many of its assets. They repeat the same mistakes by hiring an ultra liberal someone that only knows how to push a Woke agenda. Wow they sure have some intellectual powerhouses at Disney. I wish I could cure stupid. Another step toward devaluing their stock even more. Bye bye Disney!

Tried to watch tennis tonight on ESPN. Some sort of feud w Disney so all Disney-related channels are silent.
We know both Disney and ESPN are worthlessly woke. Hiring a Biden acolyte will help.

She should watch those Walt Disney cartoons made during WWII featuring the "insensitive" Japanese imagery. It would be normal for a leftist like her to "cancel" Disney, but I 7-figure salaries dampen even the most "woke" minded fanatics.

Talk about cultish behavior! Clearly, everyone recognizes the problem. Disney corporate wizards of smart have decided to put its woke agenda before profits. Fine. It’s their choice. Throwing good money after bad just cements their cult like behavior. They have decided to die on this hill and we are happy to watch it. I believe the hardcore believers at the top are actually getting some kind of perverted pleasure out of taking down this American icon because they certainly are not making logical decisions that would save the company. They literally are killing the goose that laid the golden egg. And for what, being a champion of depravity? Unbelievable.

Disney continues the slide into oblivion, if they keep on one day there is going to be a massaive sink hole where the theme park used to be. Walt must be spinning like a whirling dervish in his grave

I'm surprised that Disney has the money to pay her.
Prediction: She will launch PR initiatives that will fall on deaf ears and be gone within the year.

I remember watching the Mickey Mouse Club and The Wonderful World of Disney when I was a kid. I loved the movies. But Disney has ruined Star Wars and the Marvel Comics Universe and their channel is dreadful. You could offer me a free week long trip to the park and I wouldn't go. They are a terrible company now. If they go under, I wouldn't care a bit.

Disneyland opened the year after I was born and, being a So Cal native, my family went every summer. My mother had a big glass vase and everyone contributed to their change to the Disneyland Fund. It was always great fun when Dad brought out the coin rollers and dumped the vase on the living room carpet. I'm sure Dad had to supplement, but I think it paid the bulk of the day. I can't remember the admission prices, but they were in the $2.00 range - and it was the days of the ride ticket books A to E. I grew up along with Disneyland as they added new attractions every summer; the Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted House. It was a right of passage to finally be tall enough to hit the sign at the Auto-Topia and get to drive the cars. Not to mention Grad Night for high school seniors. We had the park from 10pm to 6am!
TK and I have the whole library of the great Walt Disney animated movies, and we have our memories. For what the modern Disney Corporation has become, it can be cast into the sea with a millstone around its neck.

Sounds like this person is as obnoxious as Psaki, Jessica Tarlov, the Binder... All of these fools will lie to the death to support Biden's Marxism. Now Disney decides to dig a hole to China? Where are the shareholders who have the responsibility of dismissing the Board of Directors and the CEO?

A shorter term for an "unflinchingly loyal Biden advisor" is liar.
I'll assume Remi is a very adept liar, maybe even on "the-border-is-closed" level.
One might think Disney is "doubling down," "digging in," or "sinking further," but truth to tell they're simple revealing who they are.

If Walt, who died in December 1966, could come back, he'd turn that wayward company upside down.
