A Colorado school has been forced to let a student keep a Gadsden flag patch on his bag, after a teacher ordered him to remove it.
The 12-year-old boy, named Jaiden, and his mom refused to apologize after he wore the historic Gadsden flag patch to The Vanguard School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which one staffer claimed was 'disruptive to the classroom environment'.
Now, the school has decided to U-turn on the decision to stop Jaiden from wearing the patch, with his defiance now making him popular amongst his peers. In a video shared on Twitter, Jaiden said: 'Today was a good day. The kids were really hyped up.

The teacher is an uninformed, misinformed fool. And why is this person teaching children if the person is so ill educated?

Unfortunately she is not unlike many "teachers" I have met these last few years. To paraphrase RR....they know so much about things that just are not so.

what do you mean: "forced to let" - he's exercising his 1st Amendment right to freedom of expression
the teachers in the public school systems across our country are not schooled in History (of any kind) and are as illiterate as too many citizens of the USofA about, even, our very own history, the study of History is crucial to the continuation of our Republic as is the Civics courses we used to have many years ago but there are few "teachers" who could actually "teach" either History or Civics

Keep the teacher away from teaching. I am sure that there are floors to be mopped and toilets to be cleaned.

I am reminded of the Pink Floyd song from “The Wall.”
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Hey, teacher, leave us kids alone
All in all, you're just another brick in the wall
Forty years ago the NEA tried to get the FCC to ban this song from the airways. They were afraid of the criticism and didn't want anyone to point out their shortcomings. Forty years later and very little has changed. I am always amazed how long it has taken people to start to realize the sad state of affairs in our public education system.

History needs back in the curriculum, world & national both. Math, english, writing. The basics is what the kids need to get along in life. All the sex stuff will show up in good time and it will be normal relations. Worked for years until Obama showed up. Now here's where everyone will think im racist. OK fine but look around the country. Everywhere there is radical nuts as Governors, Mayors, the Congress, any position of power you have black people. Women are the worst. Until the black community gets their act together. I will never vote for one. Not even President, nothing.

The Vanguard School is a highly rated charter school. Looks like their teacher hiring has been slipping, especially those educated in history (which is a common failure of most of the teachers coming out of our well bricked institutions who have been manipulated by thought control). No wonder kids in Colorado and other states don't know a thing about history. They have idiot teachers like the one who said the Gadsden Flag was a symbol of slavery. I'm glad that they were "forced to let" the young man continue to exercise his freedom of expression. Leftists in school administrations, principals, teachers etc. need to be pushed back upon when they fail to do their jobs. That is to provide safe and fair environments to teach our kids.

The teacher should be 'forced' to attend a workshop on how to do research on the internet. Maybe the teacher won't be so quick to be made a fool.
Jaiden, stay cool but be on guard.

The school didn’t “decide to make a U-turn” - the school board stepped in and told them to knock it off. The school board members have to face voters in an election.
I have absolutely no use for teachers anymore. 95% of them are giving the other 5% a bad name.

This is a glaring example of ignorant teachers. The Gadsden flag was used during the Revolution. Destroy anything that shows resistance against the far left. Supporting law violators vice the law is the trend these days as they need those with a revolutionary mind (screw the law, do what you want to do frame of mind). A country is defined by borders, language, and culture (which includes constitution laws). The border laws have been ignored and claims made right wing politicians will take no action to "make immigrant" laws. Laws are on the books and for the most part ignored
