Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blamed the “American right-wing” for Canadian Muslims’ opposition to gender ideology and LGBTQ curriculum in K-12 education.
The video was of Trudeau speaking with the Muslim community last week at a Calgary mosque – Baitun Nur Mosque – after hundreds of protesters rallied against gender ideology in schools, chanting “Leave our kids alone.” The frustration reached a boiling point after audio surfaced of an Edmonton Public Schools teacher berating Muslim students (Snip) Edward Ahmed Mitchell, the national deputy director at CAIR, said, it was time for “liberal commentators” like MSNBC’s Psaki “to accept that Muslim parents are independent, intelligent people speaking for themselves.”

Barack Obama released a rare public letter denouncing the “profoundly misguided” attempts to ban books in libraries across the country.
“Today, some of the books that shaped my life – and the lives of so many others – are being challenged by people who disagree with certain ideas or perspectives. It’s no coincidence that these ‘banned books’ are often written by or feature people of color, indigenous people, and members of the LGBTQ+ community,” the former president wrote.
Obama’s comments come amid a wave of parent concern over the addition of highly sexualized content to public-school libraries.
Much of the concern has focused on the book Gender Queer

For those of us who have been trying to awaken people to the true nature of Republicans in the senate, aka “the Decepticons”, the latest self-admissions are very welcome.
According to interviews conducted by The Hill, several republican senators are now saying they just cannot be members of the republican party if they are forced to represent the interests of the base voter. These very specifically named republicans have always been members of the UniParty in DC; however, now they are saying “populism” amid the commonsense, America-First voting base is not going to be acceptable.

Recently, Arizona Republican Eli Crane was rebuked for referring to “people of color” as “colored people.”
That’s a controversy which would, at any other time in the history of the English language, be incomprehensible to a sensible reader. After all, there’s no practical difference in the phrases. In fact, the choice to give preference to the phrase “people of color” is worse than practically useless to an English speaker -- it’s needlessly more burdensome to both the talker and the listener.
Consider this formula with any other trait. Would you refer to yourself as a “person of dark hair,” or a “dark-haired person?”

Former President Donald Trump said on this week’s broadcast of “Sunday Morning Futures” that the only mistake he made during his time in office was some of the people he picked to serve in his cabinet.
Anchor Maria Bartiromo asked, “Is there is anything you could look back on in 16 that you think maybe you want to do differently?”
Trump said, “The mistake would be people. I mean, I wouldn’t have put a guy like Bill Barr, and he was weak and pathetic. I wouldn’t have put Jeff Sessions. And there are some people that I wouldn’t have put in. You know, most people were good, but I had some people,

Betsy DeVos says she hopes Americans elect a president in 2024 who will shut down the Education Department and strip powerful teachers' unions of their control in order to champion freedom and choice in American education.
'I don't think the Federal Department of Education should exist,' the former education secretary told DailyMail.com during an exclusive interview.
'I'm hopeful that we elect a president who is also committed to either scaling back dramatically or ultimately shutting down the Department of Education.'

Homes outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have been evacuated after a train carrying hazardous materials derailed early Monday morning.
A 40-car CSX freight train operating on Norfolk Southern tracks derailed in Montgomery County around 4:50 a.m., ABC 6 reported. Emergency crews responded to the site of the derailment in the suburban area of Whitemarsh Township. Photos show multiple cars toppled off the tracks. Between 15 and 20 of the cars were carrying hazardous material, which prompted a level 2 hazmat response, Fox 29 reported.
There are no known hazards to the public at this time, and the evacuations were a precaution,

I wish I could say this is satire. Sam Houston State University now offers degrees in “Victim Studies.” I guess ingratitude and chronic discontent are educational skills now?
Thank goodness useless ignoramuses can now spend thousands of dollars to be indoctrinated into the worst of woke ideology and learn how the system is oppressive, even as they live a privileged lifestyle inaccessible to more than 99% of all humans. The American education system has become a blatant joke, but it’s not a funny one.

White House aide John Kirby said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that the inconclusive investigation into who brought cocaine into the West Wing was handled properly.
Anchor Shannon Bream asked, “I want to talk about a national security issue that is domestic and that is cocaine in the White House.”She added, “Certainly you can understand that Americans, many of them, first of all, are aghast that there was ever cocaine in the White House. We heard reports of marijuana a couple of times found there last year as well. But more importantly it is that the case was closed in less then two weeks.”

Former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino said he spoke to some of his former colleagues in the Secret Service and they are absolutely furious about the agency’s cocaine ‘investigation.’
The Secret Service closed its investigation into the Biden White House cocaine scandal without conducting any interviews.
The Secret Service last Thursday concluded its investigation into the cocaine scandal that rocked the White House earlier this month. No suspect was identified.
According to CNN, the baggy of cocaine was “found in a blind spot for surveillance cameras.”

Who needs enemies when you've got Gen. Mark Milley running the Pentagon?
Here's the latest military fiasco on his watch, as reported by the Financial Times (second link here):
Millions of US military emails were misrouted to Mali by a “typographical leak” that exposed highly sensitive information, including diplomatic documents, tax returns, passwords and travel details of senior officers.
Despite repeated warnings over a decade, the steady stream of email traffic to the .ML domain, the country identifier for Mali, continues to be the result of people mistyping .MIL, the suffix for all US military email addresses.

White House spokesman John Kirby on Tuesday argued it is a “foundational sacred obligation” for military leaders to provide troops and their family members with access to abortion.
During a White House briefing on Tuesday, a reporter asked Kirby if the Biden administration’s policy of paying for troops and their family members to travel out of state for abortion is “critical” for military readiness.Kirby responded that since the U.S. military comprised of volunteers, it was a “foundational, sacred obligation” to provide them and their family members with paid travel and time off to get abortions if they were based in states where it is restricted.
