People are starting to realize why the people who control Ron DeSantis could not launch their 2024 election bid from Florida.
Despite Ron DeSantis being a Florida native and current governor, President Trump is leading him 50% to 30% in state-wide polling. Regionally and within the demographics of the poll, things look even worse. [Article Here] (snip) “Turning to income levels, Trump leads with all except for those respondents making $200,000 or more a year. With that group, DeSantis leads 39% to 25%.” (read more)
Very wealthy, uppity rude people, and those who take pictures of their lunches to share on Instagram, are the core of the DeSantis coalition.

It should be noted that Sundance was born and raised in Florida. A lifelong resident. A native Floridian. He knows the territory.

If Trump has this thing so well in hand, then why are some people here so concerned about DeSantis? After all, who cares what some pathetic pretender, some stooge of George Soros and the Deep State, does or says about anything...right?

Thank you #1, that is good to know that. As we keep seeing this consistent devoted support for President Trump in Florida, I think it’s not because #45 is that perfect or a fine Governor DeSantis is all that terrible. I think things are going the way they are because of prayer.
MAGA 2024. TRUMP.

#3, Sounds like you are whistling past the graveyard. It’s pretty simple. The worse the country gets under Biden, the more people support President Trump because they trust him. Trust is earned and President Trump has earned our trust. He has never wavered and has always done what he said he will do.
I really liked Ron DeSantis until lately. He has listened to the wrong people and they are giving him very bad advice. They want one thing, the end of Trump and they will use anything or anyone to accomplish that. Remember, the donor and consultant class are motivated by one thing, power and greed. Do they advocate for pro-American policies or do they advocate for the candidate who will benefit them? Sadly, I believed DeSantis had better discernment. To find out otherwise is very disappointing.
I’d like to see Ron come out and end his run and throw his support behind PresIdent Trump. However, I unfortunately believe he has damaged his reputation with conservatives and don’t see him on the ticket. His move to run against Trump may be the worst political decision in the history of modern politics.

So the only people who support DeSantis are very wealthy (Marxist class warfare, ok), uppity (“uppity?”) rude (I thought rude tweets were a good thing) and take pictures of lunch. Who takes Sundance seriously?

The Anonymous Mr. Sundance. None of you even know who he is or where he comes from. He may be anything- including a complete fraud sent out to trigger gullible willing believers.

If you have been paying attention to articles by Sundance over the last year, you understand why DeSantis is faltering. He called it many months ago. The mega donors wanted someone they could control, and the candidate had to need their money. Problem is people see thru this anymore.
I don’t like having someone shoved down my throat. Hello Fox News!?
You have to ask yourself why would they not want to back the person that is obviously leading every poll…..by a lot? Because they know they can’t control him. And this time, Trump is under no illusion of the massive forces both inside and outside the GOP.
Pray for our country.

I don't live in Florida, but if I did, I'd be furious at DeSantis for running for governor just last year, getting Florida law changed so he could run for POTUS without resigning, and spending all his time running for POTUS and not paying attention to Florida. That alone shows he can't be trusted.

I do NOT trust any of these polls. The left WANTS Donald Trump to be the Republican nominee because they believe that they can fix the election for their choice and more easily sell it to their base as an honest outcome if he is the Republican nominee. I am not convinced they are correct, but that is their plan.

You would all be screaming fake news if a poll of "315" supposedly "Likely voters" by the Florida Atlantic showed DeSantis leading.
I'm not saying Trump isn't leading, but these numbers aren't believable. Just about every Trump supporter that I know is now supporting DeSantis.
But you can always count on Sundance.

Miami-Dade is where the majority of Florida Democrats. So it is not a good place to do Republican primary polls. Since the Democrats believe that Trump is the weakest candidate the Republicans can field in the general election, they want him to be the Republican candidate.

I don't get it. DeSantis has ruined his career. He needed to wait 4 years. I voted for him to be our governor. Feel betrayed.

#14-I am a republican living in Miami Dade. Our ranks are growing very quickly. Many Cuban folks here are conservative types regardless of voter registration. Broward and Palm Beach counties to the north are MUCH bluer.

Can't agree, # 6. I don't think Trump benefits in any way from Biden's unpopularity. IMO public attitudes about the Donald are pretty much set in stone. If we are to have any chance in 2024 we are going to need a new face with a different approach.

Could it be that DeSantis is not ready for prime time?
