What’s a famous chef to do when an unhappy vegan customer makes herself an unrelenting migraine? Fed up, British-born Australian chef John Mountain told her and the rest of the vegan community to “go somewhere else” for dinner — but their beef hardly ended there. Mountain is the well-known executive chef at Fyre, in the suburbs of Perth. He told Perth Now that “A young girl reached out to me and said she was coming to the restaurant… and asked if there were vegan options.” He explained that the lack of vegan options was his “only shortfall” at Fyre. Nevertheless, Mountain told the woman that “I would accommodate her,

From the PJ Media article: "A notorious local animal rights activist named Tash Peters compared Fyre’s refusal to prepare vegan dishes to banning Muslims. “I don’t see it as any different to banning Muslims or women, it’s a blatant form of discrimination,..........................” Oh, please, veganism is a religion now? Not every discrimination is illegal or immoral. If a diner does not like the menu, whatever the reason, the diner is showing "discriminating taste". Let him dine elsewhere. The restaurateur is wise to know his target clientele.

Many Vegans treat meat like it's a lethal food allergy, as if coming into contact with a molecule of meat protein will send them into anaphylactic shock, like if someone with a peanut allergy eats cookies without peanuts that are produced on manufacturing equipment that's also used to produce other snacks that include peanuts. If the same restaurant has non-vegan dishes that are produced in the same kitchen or served in the same dining space, those kind of vegans will refuse to enter, as if it will render them ritually unclean or even put them into a coma. (eye roll...)

I’m reminded of a routine that comedian Jim Gaffigan did almost 20 years ago. It was all about food and he asked this question - Ever notice that, if you have vegetarian friends over for dinner, they expect you to make a special entree for them, but if you go to their house they never offer to cook you a steak?

Vegans are simply insufferable. I can understand vegetarians and I have a niece who comes for Thanksgiving but she always brings a dish for herself and we have another vegetable dish for her. No big deal and she never complains about us gorging on a large, dead bird with delicious stuffing.

I went vegan for three years strictly to control my cholesterol and weight. It worked fine. I never was a fanatic about it. I sat and ate with regular meat-eating people without any self-righteous comments. It’s just my choice for better health. Now I’ve gone Atkins.

Some people think they deserve to be treated special all the time. The solution is simple, if your a meat eater, go to a steakhouse. If your a vegetarian the stay away from steakhouses. Pretty darn simple solution…..Karen!

This fits the way the world is going to a T: vegans are a very small percentage of restaurant goers, and most restaurants make some accommodations for them, LBTDQ+ members are far less than 1% of our population, but all must bow. Women fought for years for Title 9 in sports and now that tiny % is running them off the field: Serena Williams placed in the 250's after any number of male tennis players---women don't have the lungs or muscles of any boy past puberty. There are TWO biological sexes. On and on. Why are we, the majority by a massive amount, allowing these travesties? The same can be said for crime: a majority of criminals, drug users, mentally ill are making our cities unlivable, and then when a Daniel Penny becomes a Good Samaritan and helps save people of all races on a subway, with the help of several Blacks by the way, HE is indicted. Abortion is pushed by the Democratic Party (ALL of the members) up until the time of birth and yet the vast majority of citizens want no abortion after 15 weeks,. WHEN ARE WE, the vast majority, going to stand up for ourselves. We have the votes and that is what, apparently counts for politicians and $ for big business, so why are we silent?

Never one to use an honest argument when a dishonest one will do, Kamala Harris is out stumping for abortion on the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson ruling, which overturned Roe v. Wade. Fox News summed up how bad it was: She began, saying, "So that day, the day that the Supreme Court took the constitutional right from the women of America, and I was outraged. In fact the first person I called was my husband because I could just let it all out with him." Harris mentioned how she felt fear for the younger generation of women, including her daughter and her nieces. She continued,

The World Health Organization (WHO), funded primarily by the CCP and Bill Gates tag team, has been very busy getting its so-called “pandemic treaties” into place, which in effect hand over national control of a state’s public health response to unaccountable multinational bureaucrats — whose interests, not unimportantly, are not shared by the populations over which they exercise authority. Relatedly, the WHO also succeeded recently in instituting “vaccine passports” across the European Union. Dovetailing with both of those projects of social control is the organization’s declaration of war on something called an “infodemic.”

The Pirates have gone from first to fourth place in the division after losing ten in a row and 13 of their last 15. Also moving up in the NL Central are the Chicago Cubs, who have won three in a row

Nonetheless, the event shows that woke D.I.E. (diversity, inclusion, equity) initiatives may now be starting to live up to its macabre-tinged acronym. For decades, the Church of Scientology has faced charges from outsiders and former members that it operates as a cult. Not only does it recruit new members in a cult-like fashion, but it also employs tactics designed to stifle dissent and silence the voices of those who leave Scientology. All of these behaviors come from the top of the church. Founder L. Ron Hubbard baked many of these cultish policies into the new religion he created, but David Miscavige, the man who took over when Hubbard died, has turned these tactics into an evil art form. I won’t go into the details of Miscavige’s rise to power —

Imagine, if you will (tip of the hat to Rod Serling), a small American town in the mid-South, located on the banks of a major river in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. Two major interstate highways pass through the town, making it the major north/south crossroads east of the Mississippi River. Heavily industrialized after WWII, however, this town eventually had the “dirtiest air in the U.S.,” surpassing even Los Angeles for that dubious distinction. Merrick Garland, no doubt one of the worst political hacks ever to hold the position of Attorney General, has sworn that U.S. Attorney David Weiss was in charge of the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden and made all the charging decisions. Whistleblowers have denied that claim, and have said that Garland’s Department of Justice interfered with, and essentially deep-sixed, the investigation, so that Hunter got off with a ridiculous slap on the wrist, and was back attending a state dinner at the White House a day or two later. That is America’s two-tier system of justice in action. But it gets worse. Gary Shapley is the IRS employee

There are two kinds or problems. Those we know how to solve, like preventing hundreds from dying in overloaded people smuggling boats off Greece, and those we don’t, like rescuing people from a sub 13,000 feet below the Atlantic. Willingness is lacking in the former, technology in the latter. To some extent, the problems are apples and oranges. Solving the first requires enforcing basic law enforcement both of immigration policy and ship safety regulations and rescue, if necessary, involves mostly ordinary watercraft. Solving the second needs stuff we don’t ordinarily have like sonar, ROVs and advanced engineering — or may not have even invented. They key difference between

Disney could see even more red ink since these titles are all destined for the Disney+ streaming service instead of other streamers, like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, where they could generate additional revenue. The YouTube box office analyst known as Valliant Renegade laid out his argument in a recent video in which he estimated that many Disney blockbusters actually lost money or barely broke even during their theatrical runs despite the news media spinning them as hits.
