James O’Keefe and O’Keefe Media Group on Tuesday dropped their biggest story yet. OMG released footage of a BlackRock recruiter Serge Varlay spilling the beans on the company’s world impact. BlackRock is one of the largest (manages $20 trillion) and most powerful (and dangerous) asset and investment managers in the world.[Snip]“It’s not who the president is--it’s who’s controlling the wallet of the president,” BlackRock recruiter Serge Varlay told an undercover journalist. Serge Varlay said all the financial institutions--hedge funds, BlackRock, the banks--buy politicians--and US Senators are the cheapest.[Snip]“You got $10 grand? You can buy a senator,” he added.

The article posted at the O’Keefe website provides a bit more detail that includes how the tragedy of war is good for business and cites Ukraine being good for business right now due to their grain silos being blown up causing the price of wheat to escalate; that the Ukrainian economy is the wheat market--the price of bread goes up. That “volatility creates opportunity for profit.”

Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street have got to be stripped of the right to vote investor shares. That is why they have all this power.

Mr. OKeefe,you do great work.
But this isn't breaking news.
Or even news.
Some of us have been saying this for decades here.
Just business as usual in the District of Corruption...

Money is the root of all evil. Understand this concept and you will not be surprised by what is happening. Money will win over integrity everyday and twice on Sunday for the vast majority of people. It has been the driving force in war, and apparently people who run for elected office are extremely vulnerable to the lure of wealth. It’s easy to reap the rewards of extra cash when you sit in Washington with your feet up on your desk waiting to do the bidding of those who bought you. They feel no shame just unbridled greed.

Most politicians can be bought. That’s how they keep their jobs for decades and get rich. But O’Keefe’s contact is a low level HR guy who is not on the inside track of anything. He’s just trying to sound important.

Politicians do not spend Million of Dollars to get elected so they can earn Thousands of dollars.
Mansions in Hawaii, Martha's Vineyard, Georgetown ,and Chicago do not come cheap.
Most working Americans could not even afford the maintenance on 4 homes
But then we have the secret Service guarding all 4, so that is an expense they don't have.

One small quibble…it is the Love of money which is the root of all Evil.
Money is a simply a tool to be used with self-control.
When Hubris and Pride control a person, the end result is suffering and destruction to those caught up in the whirlwind.
Success needs to be tempered with charity and humility. Moderation in all things.

Does anyone recall a Blackrock television ad campaign before the recent one that airs on Fox? I assume these ads on shown on other networks as well. The commercials started just after reports that Florida and Texas planned to dump BR investments in response to the firm’s ESG policies. This was a smart move by Blackrock because conservative Fox hosts really can’t attack a major advertiser.

Only 10k for a Senator? Part they didn't tell you is that you can be outbid. This is not how government supposed to work. This is how corruption works. We have seen how the Bidens made their wealth by influence peddling. How many other Senators are just as bad as the Bidens. Bet it's both parties too.

Once again, you can see why they fight TERM LIMITS, and why we need them out after two terms! Of course new senators can be bought as well, but maybe not so much.

#4 - Breaking news to me, though you have to wonder, with so much evidence on hand so many times, why the bad guys never lose. Some of those in office must be on the take, or are prevented for standing up for the right and the good for some other reason.
Reminds me of my Catholic Bishops. There are well over two hundred bishops in the United States, yet only one, Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, had the courage to be a true defender of the faith by joining the peaceful procession on June 16 to Dodgers stadium to protest the blasphemous behavior ot the Nuns of Perpetual Indulgence who were going to be given an award at Dodgers stadium on Pride NIght. Why were there no bishops from Los Angeles, or outside of Los Angeles, in the procession? (I wish I could have gone. Catholics and members of all faiths joined together in prayers and hymns to say, "Enough".)
What prevents our Catholic bishops from letting others know where they stand on this group's blasphemous behavior toward The Eucharist, Christ, His Mother, the Mass, and the Stations of the Cross? Where is
The Council of Catholic Bishops? And some statement released the day of the procession means nothing. No different than many of our people in public office. What cowards they all are. Our country and our church are disintegrating before our eyes.

The next question is how many Senators by name have been bought off for $10,000.00 a head? From that accusation alone you can see why so many Senators, especially the so-called Senate leadership were against Trump ever being President from the get-go, as they knew and know now that Trump cannot be bought off through bribery or otherwise, and would like to see Trump thrown in prison through political persecution, so that the $10,000.00 payoffs can keep funneling into their pockets. It is certainly a sad state of affairs in DC these days.

Only 10 large? I suspect Black Crack Rock can get one of our RINO senatards for cheaper than that. I know for a fact that a dem is for sale cheaper than that. Seeing as how Schumer and his gang have zero principles. Also #7 Hannity is a shill want to be Rush Limbaugh on the radio. He's never been hard hitting on tv which is why he'll forever be in the good graces of RINO Ryan and the meathead Murdoch Brothers. His recent interview with the moron CA governor Gavin Nuisance proves that.

The People used to have recourse to vote out corrupt politicians but with Dominion, Smartmatic and COVID "voting reforms" that has been lost. The politicians no longer represent the Citizens, they represent the donors and themselves. THIS HAS TO CHANGE!

$10,000 ?!?!?
Maybe so.... But you won’t get a very good one at that price... And they won’t stay bought.
Heck, you can hardly even rent a Congress-person for that amount these days, What with Inflation and all.

#11, and that can be done when the slogan "share the wealth" helps rake it in. Guess what, we now get to hear about diversity, equity and inclusion. While liberals are running around screaming and demanding all of these things, I will quietly be the person living out individuality, fairness, and welcoming. Just take a look at the demand of equality. I can say wholeheartedly equalness in everything is unachievable but like the headline suggests - anything can be bought. . .

I have a question. Who invests in BlackRock Investments? Is it City and County and State Pensions? Or is it individuals? If it's the government that's investing than a pensioner who has their pension with that entity, should file a class action lawsuit. If it's an individual, then that person should find another investment firm to invest their money. People, starve BlackRock and take away their power, invalidate, annul, stop their influence in our economy and our morals. BlackRock is an Evil Company!

#27, unfortunately, some companies - like mine - only offer the BlackRock option for those who invest in low-cost index funds in their 401K.

#27~ Ldotter #29 explains how investing in BlackRock becomes part of an individual’s financial portfolio when offered 401K plans by their employers. Retirees seeking to invest in retirement funds that will provide an opportunity to acquire an additional source of income to supplement Social Security and/or whatever pension monies are made available to them become captive to vast holdings such as BlackRock. According to an article written by Leslie Eastman (12-8-23 - Legal Insurrection), BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street constitute Three Index Fund Managers and “can cast nearly 25% of the votes in any director election at S&P 800 companies.”
