Ships are piling up in some West Coast ports, and commercial shipping prices are spiking amid a labor fight between port operators and workers, threatening to trigger a new round of supply chain disruptions that could lead to shortages or higher prices. The fight is sparking concerns among lawmakers who worry surging container prices could ripple through the economy and hit all sorts of consumer goods in a repeat of supply chain problems following pandemic shutdowns. “The shippers I know are afraid of what might happen if we shut down our ports,” said Rep. Stop shipping via California. Just give up. The entire state is totally dysfunctional. Us Seattle, if you must use the west coast, or drive around to the Gulf, Florida or other East Coast ports.

Lawmakers, worried about surging container prices. Gasoline prices? Not so much. They say that 2024 will be about wallets and pocketbooks - yet another reason why they want Trump eliminated by any means.

Hope someone is writing all this down. No one in the future will believe how incompetent California was. I find it hard to believe myself.

AGAIN? What's with the port workers in California? I know the port workers on east coast ports make a pretty darn good living. They're paid pretty well and have excellent benefits. I'm guessing the port workers in California are paid even more with pretty much the same benefits. They belong to same if not a similar union.

Container ships stacked up again? Didn't Butt Pete correct that situation? And with a UPS strike looming on the horizon, whoa, Butt Pete may have to work this summer.

Just wait until only EV trucks are allowed. Just imagine the insanity. If a diesel truck were to run out of diesel while waiting in line, one could put diesel in ( charge it up) rather easily. If an EV truck were to run out of energy, well, it takes a little longer. If an EV truck needs to be towed out of the way, a much larger tow truck (EV?) is necessary. And.....what about all the EV fires? How many EV trucks will burn? Did you know that some European ferries have banned EV autos from their ferry services? They state the EV fires are too hard to extinguish. Some New York buildings have banned e-bikes and scooters, due to fires. If Kalifornia succeeds in limiting gasoline autos, I'm sure the democRATS will still have access to them.

Both were/are Gilda Radner's characters, easy to confuse one with the other. I really loved her humor, which is why I remember it so well. It was a shame she died so young. A very talented and funny lady.

Shut it down. I have two years worth of everything I need in the basement with the ammo in the front of the pile. If this Trump indictment doesn't work for the democrats, they will need every ounce of chaos, disruption and mail-in ballot excuses they can muster to come close enough with their chosen butt monkey to win by cheating in 2024.
