Hey, does anyone know if they sell Bud Light at Target? I need to make a beer run.
But seriously folks, consumers who are not particularly rainbow-minded will run out of places to shop if this keeps up. Either more stores are betting on their ESG scores over consumer traffic or people are just getting more attuned to the prevalence of the new normal not only in society but also in retail. Shoppers can add Kohl’s to the list of entities where they would never be caught dead, right behind Bud Light, the Dodgers, and Target.
WE have a new Michael's here. I was curious to check it out so we went by there the other day. Big "Pride" display as you walk in the door. I'll stick with Hobby Lobby.

Bring back Mom & Pop modernized independent businesses. Specialize any way you want. How about bakeries that may specialize in 'non-traditional' weddings and those that CHOOSE not to. Leave them alone and let them bake cakes as they please. You want a Pride Baby clothes store - open one!

This is kind of a good thing. I'm wasting a lot less money on unnecessary foreign made garbage lately.

Small stores usually have no political bones to pick.

Similar reaction by me except it was email, not a visit, #1. I get Michael's messages every day, but today's will be my last. Big promotion of their PRIDE garbage with all the related crafting supplies. I immediately unsubscribed, and I'd bet I'm not alone.
I quite well know what colors are in a rainbow and I have always been disgusted at the confiscation of a beautiful image particularly loved by children.
It's Hobby Lobby for me and I'm glad to support them.

Instead of boycotting Peter and rewarding Paul with your purchases, why not just consume less? Probably a good thing for a people that overdosed on cheap crap, pills, and potions for decades because Madison Avenue and Big Pharma told us we needed them to be healthy and happy.

I just added Chic Fil A to the list of place I will not shop. The CEO is passing out brushes to shine black's shoes.

Wayne Allyn Root has a new book, "The Great Patriot BUY-cott Book" which lists stores that are NOT "woke" where you can shop. Free Shipping. Buy one for the neighborhood and lend it to friends and family.

It may be harder to buy some things from a non-woke business but I can only do my part. I haven't bought a Gillette product since they ran their male-bashing ads. I haven't been in a Walmart in at least five years. I used to buy some Bud Light in case one of my sons dropped by but never again. We don't have a Target so I can't boycott them. If we all do this bit by bit, it will inflict death by a thousand cuts. Oh, and I also dropped my Blackrock stock and according to my broker, he said several clients of his had done the same. Do what you can, folks.

I’m glad to know about Michael’s. Was planning to go there tomorrow for some beads but will go to Hobby Lobby instead. It’s about twice as far away as Michael’s but I don’t have anything else I need to do and can take the time. I haven’t set foot in Walmart for about 20 years - since they refused to exchange an item even though I had the receipt and met all of the criteria.
The article should have mentioned BB&B as well - they dumped My Pillow and now they’re in bankruptcy.

PetSmart too? Should I now just assume when my female sheltie comes over & humps my leg she is actually gay/bi? Do I need to run to PetSmart to buy her a rainbow collar?

#13, I Have a suggestion. I have a My Pillow extra large dog bed for my 7 month old 80 pound Great Pyrenees puppy. When he gets the urge to hump something, he grabs a hold of it and wrestle it into position and "goes to town" on it. Happy puppy, happy leg.

Yeah, we already diss Target and Walmart. But still shop at Petsmart for our mini dachshund supplies. Not sure about online alternative dog food suppliers yet because they want a buy commitment and autorenewal. My wife finds the cashiers at Michael's as rather "different".

Let them attempt to push their perversion. Now that people are serious about boycotts they will fall one by one. With a name like "Michael's" you could surmise that the store was Gay City before you walked in the door. They should have named it "Big Mike's" or some such. Ours lasted two years here and it recently closed down.
Anybody hear attendance numbers for the NASCAR races in Charlotte? I quit them 20 years ago.

Hate to break it to all of you, but if you boycott every "woke" store and corporation, you will need to find a comfortable cave to live in.
Saw an article yesterday listing "Most LGBTQ-friendly" companies, and I didn't see any major ones NOT on the list.
Of course mine was, a fact they tout on their employee portal page.
"Occupy till I come." It's about survival now, not change. Call me a doomer, or any other pejorative term - I feel like a realist.
