Tomorrow, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will follow a sequence of events to launch the Sea Island billionaire strategy for a 2024 Republican nomination bid. This plan has been constructed for several years; that’s how I was able to predict the organization of the effort ten months ago and the exact date of the launch six months ago.
The sequence of the launch also tells a story. The sequence of tomorrow is priority driven. Each group is assisting in the launch sequence based on their importance to the Ron DeSantis campaign. That’s how this GOPe stuff rolls.
(1) DeSantis will first meet with the billionaire donors at the Four Seasons

I'm so disappointed in Elon Musk. I'm a great admirer of his ability to get fantastic things done but I wish he would stick to technology. I hope it is not because he has been promised a Cabinet position in the RDS reign.

He can launch whatever he wants, whichever way he wants to, with whatever big money he needs behind him.
I have been a voter for 50 years, never realizing until 2020 that the election process is diseased and non functional.
I'm never playing that game again.
DeSantis is nothing more than a bought and paid for politician and as soon as his backers yank on his leash I will be betrayed yet again.
If Trump runs I'll vote for him otherwise, I'm staying home.
In ANY case, the republic is over. Even Trump can't save it, but I'm willing to go down with the ship if DJT is my captain.

No cold sweats. How silly. SD believes President Trump will win the nomination. That the only chance DeS has is he is not in the race. You’d have to be braindead to not see how the Dems and the GOPe are moving heaven and earth to try to get PDJT out.
It is important to remember, the goal of the professional Republican apparatus is not to help DeSantis win; the goal is to remove Donald Trump.
The professional Republican club hate Donald Trump because he represents the base voters of the Republican Party, and the GOPe hate the base of the party much more than they hate Democrats. Exponentially more.

i see it more as Musk using DeSantis to launch Twitter Spaces - and DeSantis using Murdoch to get his message and face out -

Anyone surprised that Tucker had to go when he did? He’d not have fit into this charade.

I don't care who attempts to push for DeSantis or how hard they push, it is a big fat NO from me.

Murdoch was all in on Heb! as well. I quit watching "Fox and Friends" in the morning because I was sick of seeing Jeb Bush's face shortly after waking up. Just because the big money is behind someone, doesn't mean they're going anywhere. John Connally, and Jeb Bush are prime examples of how "dollars don't vote." Both raised more money than the other candidates for the Republican nomination only got a few delegates (Connally - 1 delegate, and Heb! - 4 delegates).

Oh My! Sundance certainly has himself all worked up! Why didn't he care about FOX when Trump was on Fox and Friends many, many mornings for a half hour at a time? They gave him that time! So now it's wrong for them to give Gov. DeSantis the same Coverage? Hmmm Also, does anyone think Trump didn't meet with his Donors? Yes, he had a long list of them. IMHO there is no reason for me to read what Sundance writes now that DeSantis is in the Race. Apparently He thinks Trump should not have anyone running for the Presidency but him. Anyone else is a Traitor, and funded by the Bush family and on and on. I have news for Sundance. In this Country we don't have a Coronation, we have a Nomination, and anyone who is Qualified can Run to be President. The Voters, in the Primary, will decide who their Nominee will be. And Don't ever question Governor DeSantis's on his love for his Country. HE served! Trump did not! I will leave it at that!

I'm not keen on the way DeSantis is announcing his candidacy. I'm certainly glad that he has thrown his hat into the 2024 ring. DeSantis will be slammed by Democrats, the media and, unfortunately, a frightened Donald Trump. The race is on. I'm not sure for whom I'll vote in the primary but after enduring the hateful, lying and incessant anti DeSantis ads on Fox News, paid for by a supposed Trump supporting organization, I am slowly trending towards voting for Governor Ron. Whichever of the two wins the nomination I will support in the general. Not to do so cancels any pretense of supporting MAGA.

Rupert Murdoch, George Bush, if he can get Romney & Liz Cheney to back him to back him that should take him out of the running.

I think Musk made it pretty clear that Twitter is involved not to support DeSantis, but rather to carry out its raison d'etre as a free-speech platform. He stated that he "wants to interview more candidates on Twitter so the platform can be a “level playing field” where 'all voices are heard'.” It is definitely in his best interests to promote the Twitter enterprise as much as he can.

Considering the establishment names who support the governor, his draft concession speech to Joe/Hillary must be a virtue-filled inspiration.

OP. Excellent point. Expect any moment for the narrative to be rallies don’t matter. However, they cannot deny the base is squarely behind Trump. Looks like both parties will be in the election theft game this election. It’s the only way they can win.

Agree with #9 and #12. If Sundance thinks Trump has already won the nomination, why does keep pounding on DeSantis? And why does Trump continue to put out those ads knocking DeSantis, instead of telling us how he will do even better when he wins? Those ads are turning off most of the people I know.

It appears that 1/3rd to 1/2 of Trump's most ardent supporters state the belief that America as a republic is finished; consequently, elections do not matter. However, it appears that not one of the lamenters dared to lift a finger to prevent the dissolution of the U.S. that they now repetitively decry.

So choreographed. There is no mention of grass roots. Not even pretending to have that support. Will tens of thousands drive many miles to line up for hours in all kinds weather to hear him speak and show their support?
