#9, But it didn’t have to be this way. To those of you who think DeSantis is going to be playing clean up after the dems indict Trump, it’s a bad move. It would have been a better move to support Trump and then if the worst happens, he could step in and pick up the mantle. With this stunt DeSantis is proving he is not ready for prime time. He is disloyal and completely tone deaf. Regardless how much his wife wants to be First Lady (the rumor is out there that she is the driving force) the base is not going to go along with it. Ron is coming off as a creation of the GOPe, not authentic but very ambitious.

#10, given that line of thinking, then the same could be said of Donald Trump. Most of Donald Trump's life he lived as a liberal. He even attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding. So in 2016, when Hillary Clinton thinks she has a good chance of becoming President of the USA, Donald Trump is on the other side of the spectrum. And then he has the nerve to win the election. No wonder why we have the catfight that America is experiencing especially with the finding of the Durham report. Soooooo, I really do not understand Donald Trump's beef with Ron DeSantis. . .

I'd gladly vote for President Trump. I'd also gladly vote for Governor DeSantis if he becomes our candidate. Why must one be forever against one of these candidates if you happen to favor the other? It's foolish and childish. And it will ultimately guarantee a victory for the Democrats. Not very smart or mature.

I do not care that DT was/is a Liberal or what women he has been with or what nonsense he says at times. What I care about is how he, with one hand tied behind his back, improved America as POTUS. He wasn't perfect but he was the best POTUS since RR. His overall record as POTUS tells me I need, I must, vote for him. As for Ron, seems as if he used Florida to get to DC. Two years as a Gov. doesn't prove much to me. But hey, that is me. It is just too bad the GOP couldn't get behind one man to make sure the Left would be defeated. Ego and greed isn't very pretty. You all have a blessed day.

#19, and that is the difference between you and me - I am fighting for America and her creator. Yes, I agree that Donald Trump is fighting for America but it isn't just his fight and, at times, his ego makes it seem like it is all about him. Let me explain. He may be fighting for America but he is also fighting with people unnecessarily and often with people on the same side of the argument. Politicians come and go but God doesn't. I am fighting for America and her soul.

Everything DeSantis and his campaign says can be better achieved under Candidate Trump. Best place for DeSantis right now is VP in the Trump ticket. That is what the country needs and is demanding. I hope both men pay heed. DeSantis' main fear that if he associates with Trump and loses, his career is finished is unfounded IMO.

I agree with #28, but I think the GOPe is in on it. They and the dems decide who should win, and with all the control they have over vote numbers, it's not difficult to pull off. One of the best moments was when President Donald Trump fooled them in 2016 and they didn't have enough cheat set up. It's possible that GOPe and dems have decided and arranged that DeSantis will win not only because he's with them, but that's the only way to stop PDJT.

here we go again "It's my turn!" "No! It's MY turn!" "NO!!! It's MY turn!" "No, It's my turn." And meanwhile, the Dem/Left is laughing. Presidency there for the plucking. Ready to "win" (or, steal) the next election. The old Leninist maxim of Iron-Fisted Rule Over the Party and Anti-factionalism (odious as it is for purists with starry-eyed visions of "democracy"), works, when the rubber meets the road. They have Party Unity. They get the power, and they know how to use it. The hub of the Constitutional Wheel is Justice is blind; All are equal under the Law; Justice for All. It's virtually gone. Republicans shouldn't boast about the Big Tent dems drove them into! This tent is a circus. I will not sit out. I will vote. President Donald Trump is, by far, the best POTUS of my lifetime. In addition to doing a great job with the economy and foreign affairs he is also entertaining. But, I have two reservations about him. One, age. He is 76. If he makes it into the White House in Jan 2025 he'll be 78. It doesn't matter how smart you are, if you live long enough your brain will turn into mush. Two, baggage. PT has more baggage than Delta Airlines. But, if I make it to Nov 2024. I will vote for whoever or whomever is the nominee of the GOP. After 4 years of Quid Pro Joe MAGA is too lofty a goal. We are so close to the Third World I'll take MAMA, Make America Mediocre Again.

Not so long ago, America had a great economy, the lowest unemployment ever for a range of demographic groups, energy independence, an increasingly secure southern border, a strong international profile, and no new wars. It had freedom. It had national pride. And all because it had a highly skilled president of unabashed patriotism who was devoted to the best interests of his people. Now we’re being readied to eat bugs while our overlords dine on steaks. To live in “fifteen-minute cities” while they fly to conferences in Fiji. To tighten our belts to prevent rising sea levels while they luxuriate in sea-level mansions in Malibu and Martha’s Vineyard.

Trump, by comparison, dodged being drafted into the Vietnam War by claiming he suffered from bone spurs, with DeSantis seemingly keen to highlight the ex-president's much-mocked excuse.

Donald Trump threw his hands in the air in fury during a virtual appearance in a Manhattan court on Tuesday as a judge scheduled the Stormy Daniels 'hush money' criminal trial for March 25, 2024. It means the former president will be in a Manhattan courtroom for weeks in the middle of the Republican primaries and just months before the presidential election. The court day lies just weeks after the 'Super Tuesday' primaries set for March 5, and days after Florida's March 19 contest that will pit Trump against Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Tomorrow, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will follow a sequence of events to launch the Sea Island billionaire strategy for a 2024 Republican nomination bid. This plan has been constructed for several years; that’s how I was able to predict the organization of the effort ten months ago and the exact date of the launch six months ago. The sequence of the launch also tells a story. The sequence of tomorrow is priority driven. Each group is assisting in the launch sequence based on their importance to the Ron DeSantis campaign. That’s how this GOPe stuff rolls. (1) DeSantis will first meet with the billionaire donors at the Four Seasons

Perhaps impatient and frustrated that critics point out that California never had slavery and entered the Union as a free state opposed to slavery, (snip) a prominent member of California’s Reparations Task Force has opened the door to history and logic that suggest he and other California African Americans owe reparations to Chinese Americans. “Unfortunately, that evil group called the Ku Klux Klan in California was founded here in San Francisco, so San Francisco’s hands are not clean." (snip) if Rev. Brown assumes that California’s Klan was aimed against African Americans, he is sadly mistaken. (snip) western vigilantes targeted those they deemed a greater threat: Chinese immigrants.

On Tuesday, a U-Haul crashed into a barricade outside the White House grounds. Immediately, speculation that the driver was a “white supremacist” after a Nazi flag was allegedly pulled from the wreck. In fact, the flag was spread out and displayed for reporters by the FBI agents on the scene. Why did they do that? Someone will have to ask them, but the narrative became a lot more complicated after the driver was identified as Sai Varshith Kandula. Needless to say, he didn’t exactly fit the “white supremacist” profile. Now, in a move that is sure to spark much speculation, the DOJ has suddenly downgraded the charges involved.

Now that Special Counsel John Durham’s report has been released, those who perpetuated the Russia collusion hoax are under renewed scrutiny – as they should be. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was one of the leading proponents of the false claim that former President Donald Trump collaborated with the Russian government to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. Now, there is a move in Congress to punish him for the falsehoods he told shortly after the race.Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has introduced a resolution to fine Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff $16 million for his claims that former President Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election.
