A prominent civil rights attorney deleted his viral tweet that attacked a female New York City hospital worker hours after her lawyer threatened defamation lawsuits in a Fox News segment against those who defamed her. Ben Crump, who has been a lead attorney in several police brutality cases, tweeted a viral video with more than 4 million views of a verbal altercation between a pregnant New York City physician assistant and multiple young Black men before deleting it hours later after the segment aired and went viral on Twitter. (snip) There was no follow-up tweet with a correction or an apology.

She is not a public person. She is a young woman who is six months pregnant and the young black men (was it four?) who accosted her, probably scared the life out of her because, of course, the first thing she must of thought of was that the baby in her womb was going to be harmed by these young thugs (only word to be used - what kind of a guy makes a six month pregnant woman feel threatened?- and at six months it was terribly obvious that she was pregnant). Then they tried to say that she was acting like racist (we are so sick and tired of that fake claim), and also they called her a thief. Sue them - each of them - put them in some kind of a program because they will claim they have no money (they steal from pregnant women). Hopefully, no one is saying "He's a good boy."

Get real, six month pregnant physician’s assistants coming off a 12 hour shift at a large hospital do not look for trouble by trying to steal a rental bike from four young Black men! All a female in that condition wants to do is get home as soon as possible to rest.

To expect anything other than what transpired is delusional. There IS “systemic racism” but it generally occurs in the BLACK community now. Black THUGS have a get-out-of-trouble VICTIM card now and will rely heavily on it. Race-hack attorneys will seek to take advantage until someone says “enough,” but there are always other opportunities that will come up. Want it to STOP? Then allow the police to do their job of looking out for all Americans without favoring anyone. IF they have any preconceptions it is because blacks simply commit more crime, PERIOD. Too harsh? Just look at the stats and stop the lies.

IMO Crump is dumb as a stump. I remember once when he was taking about something “going down in the annals of history,” but pronounced “anals.” Now this. An elementary rule of defamation law is that opinions are not actionable but false statements of fact are. But he made a factual statement that she is a thief. Unbelievably stupid.

When you have no other argument, always scream racism. The target is so afraid of getting the modern day leper name they will drop everything and run. I wasn't racist until I went to public school in the 60's and 70's. Then it came kind of natural. MLK said people should be judged by the content of their character. Looks like they were all along.

A recent CNN headline — "We don't have enough doctors" — is quite accurate. The explanation given for the M.D. shortage is completely wrong. CNN notes the "health-care workforce shortage is 'more acute' in Black and brown communities." The black community represents 13 percent of the U.S. population, but only 5.7 percent of American physicians are black. The implication is clear: only black doctors should or can treat black patients or, at a minimum, will treat them properly. This is racist dogma.
