Democrats have mostly given up on denying that Joe Biden is suffering from an advanced stage of dementia. Their strategy, as exemplified by their mouthpiece the New York Times, has shifted to a defense of senility. Do we need a mentally competent president? Nah.
This morning’s Times email, which is curated by David Leonhardt, the Times’s “senior writer” who writes for “The Times’s flagship daily newsletter,” said this morning:
"Strange as it may sound, the American government can function without a healthy president."
Hey, Edith Wilson did a great job!
The issue that makes many Democrats even more anxious than Biden’s second-term capabilities is whether his age will prevent him from winning a second

I cannot understand how/why the Dems are shutting their eyes to what is happening. Do they really not mind when Kamala becomes President? Biden is worse by the day!

Why isn't the media demanding that the President take a cogitative test?
I recall they did this to a previous President who passed it easily.

The 70 million Americans that voted for the senile guy in 2020 think its OK too!
No problems though. The senile guy is a puppet and isn't setting policy anyway.
Who did those 70 million Americans really vote for? Nobody knows!

For the liberal media, senility is OK as long as it is in connection with a leftist Democrat figurehead being elected who is being controlled by a covert leftist and socialist Democrat politburo that actually runs the show, as we are now seeing with Biden in the White House with a Obama oriented politburo situated throughout the White House actually running the Presidency. But if a Republican like Trump were in the White House and happened to cough the liberal media would claim that he was senile.

Sorry. We do need a President who knows what is going on. Dementia Joe has no clue and the Democrats allow unelected people ruin our Republic behind the scenes. Slowly but surely they are turning America into a Banana Republic right in front of our eyes. Jill knows what is going on but she doesn't say a word just like she knew what Hunter was up to and never said a word. She is either stupid or evil or both. She raised Hunter and allowed her perverted husband take showers with her teenage daughter. Shame on them all!!!!!

Actually, it is easier for the PuppetMasters to run things when the pResident is a brain dead, doddering old fool.
The NYT is a Communist propaganda outlet, and has been since the 1930s. Never trust anything that these liars put out.

FTA: If enough voters are turned off by the idea of a president who would turn 86 in office, Republicans might win full control of the federal government in 2024 — and Donald Trump might return to the White House.
Can you imagine going back to low inflation, oil independency, not taking crap from our enemies, a good economy, etc. Although we would have to put up with 'men tweets.'
The NY Slimes are getting more and more ridiculous as they cover for biden just to keep Trump from being President.

If the election is about Biden, he'll lose. If it's about Trump, he'll lose. Right now, the election looks like it will be about Trump: Democrats are planning on it; the MSM is insisting on it.

This from the same crew which, in 1992, said that character didn’t matter in a president in an effort to protect Slick Willy. And look where we are now.

Everything's "fine"...until the nuclear missiles start heading our way. Then WHO or WHAT COMMITTEE will have the authority to issue orders?
The NY Times is a sad excuse for a newspaper of any kind.

Don't you have to be 35 to be President? What if the elevator goes down way past there?

Right...... if it were a Republican, would NYT say senility is A-OK? You know the answer to that.
