Fox News is trying to sideline former Tucker Carlson Tonight host Tucker Carlson through the 2024 election, multiple sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News.
Carlson’s current contract runs through December 2024, and as of now three sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that executives at the network are trying to keep Carlson on contract and not release him until after the 2024 election. The shocking decision to cancel Carlson’s top-rated weeknight program came just days after the network shut down its top-rated weekend program with host Dan Bongino. What follows here is an insider account from people actually in the know

While they scream about fairness, the left fights the dirtiest. This is so typical of their tactics. Silence all opposition.

The biggest problem for Fox going forward is that Tucker was "sui generis," a broadcast original, the biggest draw on cable television. How do you "replace" Rush Limbaugh, Andrew Breitbart, Ronald Reagan, or Walt Disney, Bob Hope, Jay Leno, or Lucille Ball? At the moment, no giant comes to mind as the natural successor to Tucker Carlson. With his following, he could do what Ronald Reagan did after losing to Gerald Ford: go on the speaker circuit and have a daily radio show. He will succeed. As far as Fox is concerned, will Tucker become its "curse of the Bambino?"

Someone needs to help Murdoch get the barn door closed since the prize winning livestock have galloped from the stalls. Maybe someone hanging around the winners has a death wish. Hmm.

Tucker was the last show I was watching on Fox. I can't see a reason to go back.

I enjoy the interviews on "Life, Liberty. And Levin" but I'm calling it quits on that. He's showing the last part of his excellent visit with PDT this Sunday, but even that won't get a viewing here. Lines must be drawn.

I would really like to have an understanding of Fox's culpability in the Dominion lawsuit. And how biased the judge's rulings were. Obviously $750 million gets management's attention.
After that case, I don't understand what a news organization can do- unless the fix was in; that I can understand.
Tucker was not a case of charisma; it was a case of insightfully putting together facts and trends in a very compelling way. We're tired of palaver. We want substance.
I enjoy Gutfeld. His humor is disarming. I'm not sure he's any less cutting than Tucker is. I like to laugh at these liberals that are destroying our lives; it's better than anger.

Here are the numbers for Fox and Tucker as far as ratings are concerned. In the last 24 hours, Tucker's recent video has been viewed 72 million times. Meanwhile, the 8pm time slot on Fox got 130,000 viewers. That's fewer than the 8pm time slot for the CNN. The Murdoch's have lost control of the network, but maybe that was their goal.

It is still speculation. Tucker had an employment contract. They can't just call him up and stop with no explanation. It looks like Fox got their emotions get in the way, and now have legal liability exposures. This is in the hands of the lawyers.

"Disarray" isn't enough. It needs to be extinction. We need to draw the line and let everyone know that this kind of cancellation of truth tellers will no longer be tolerated and will lead to the canceller's own destruction. It has to end NOW.

I don’t think a corporation can fire an employee and then deny them employment by another corporation. Can they?

Occam’s Razor. Tuck was too effective and he had to be silenced before 2024. His contract ran through December 2024. They can’t have his brutal truth aired to the drooling lo-fo voters. They might wake up and vote inappropriately.

Rupert and his family are guttersnipes with money who fight dirty and pretend to be conservative. The Murdochs are reaping what they sowed, and I hope it is a devastating whirlwind for them. $577MILLION in losses just since the announcement. That is huge no matter how you slice it.

Hopefully it doesn't matter with 70% of the country having eyes open to the destruction and corruption perpetrated by the Rotted Vegetable. Kamala Harris has also turned into a bigger boat anchor for the dems.

I used to amuse myself with Jesse and Gutfeld as a lead-in from Tucker. Haven't seen any of them in a week and haven't missed them. Rupert's kids are openly leftist so they will inherit a much smaller kingdom from him and deservedly so. Hopefully the failure from his stupid decision leads to his "early" retirement.

#14, there is a "right to work law" that prevents a corporation from denying a former employee from making a living but I don't know how widespread it is. In the IT and Engineering fields it upheld employee rights very nicely.

The huge pile here is the tacit and blatant approval by the “Establishment” aka “Team Mitch et al” of Dominion’s “system..” That scares the living daylights out of me. Until they are removed from the voting process in the United States of America, the “electorate” has no recourse against the Zuni-party. Period.

This reminds me of s story a good friend told me about the sudden demise of a very successful company. The founder and sole shareholder died suddenly and his arrogant, Harvard educated son stepped into his father's role. A major line of credit agreement needed to be renewed and had been close to closing. The son, figuring he was dealing with provincial rubes outside of New York and Hong Kong, refused to take any of the lower ranking financial execs with him to the bank meeting because he did not need help for such a "no-brainer" meeting. The son insulted the bankers, put his ignorance of the business on full display, and totally alarmed the bankers. The bank yanked the line of credit and the company collapsed within days. My friend was out of a job, but recovered nicely.
I see parallels to Fox News and Lachlan Murdoch.

The Murdochs are trying to rescue to 8pm slot - - by installing Lawrence Jones in Tucker's place.
Sorry, globalists - - Lawrence is a nice guy - - but he has no talent whatsoever. He's as boring as a soccer game. None of us will watch that show - - unless we have insomnia.
Show some humility - - and BEG Tucker to come back!

Individuals who were not authorized to speak on it spoke on it … and here's what they said.
Carlson’s current contract runs through December 2024, and as of now three sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that executives at the network are trying to keep Carlson on contract and not release him until after the 2024 election.
Every network source that Breitbart News spoke to made clear they do not think this is an effort by Fox News management or the Murdoch family to try to stop Trump in the 2024 GOP primary.
So there you go.

This makes as much sense as anything else I’ve heard or read.
It appears Murdoch and his sons have cut off their noses to spite their faces. In their quest to remain all-powerful, they cashiered two of their best on-air talents, assuming that conservatives would come back to their network because “where else are they gonna go?”
It reminds me of the PBS ad campaign some years ago when their viewer numbers were falling. They’d show ads for their series of shows like Upstairs, Downstairs and Brideshead Revisited and so fort, and ask “if not us, who?” Then one conservative columnist said “well, let’s see.... A&E, Discovery, HBO, TBS, TLC, Showtime,........”
The Murdochs stepped on their d**ks.

The Murdochs are foreigners that are agents of Globalism. We cut our cable after Fox lied about Arizona in 2020. They got rid of our champion President Donald Trump but I got rid of the liars.
I placed “Bannon Rumble” in the favorites of my iPad, connect it with a short cable to my TV, and together with Lucianne and Conservative Treehouse have all I need.

This is long and fairly informative. It doesn't say what his contract covers, so I don't know whether he could do something that doesn't directly compete with Fox, like working for himself with his own streaming show. I'm sure he'll find a way to keep going,
